[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
I'd never want to evolve such a graceful dancer if I had it. <3 Perfect for Contest?

Kirlia is pretty well suited for those kinds of things, yes.  Gardevoir is more like a ballroom dancer, while Gallade is the ever chivalrous male partner.  I have to say, I've been getting rather attached to Kirlia myself (don't worry Phantom, you're not alone in that area).  Shame that the writers of this tabletop RPG still aren't done with the Contest module for it (which happens to be rather important for Feebas in base pokerole, too...).

Interesting side note: Porygon2 are actually more capable of learning and showing emotion on their own than their pre-evolution according to the in-game pokedex entries.  Like this one from the manga looks like it's taking things rather seriously:

That makes sense with how computers advance, too. I think Nathan would be better able to understand Porygon2's emotions. He'll be a bit less inscrutable. But his desires may still be strange to us meatbeings.

And then the Dubious Disc messes it all up again...

It gets Nasty Plot and Trick Room for free , and adaptability works rather well with Conversion !  Errattic behavior is a draw back , but it's not any less disobedient than before !

I wonder how it would be possible to evolve a Febass in our version of the game , though ? Other than having 5 VIT. (Which is equal to five yBeauty ) , I don't see a way to get one without DM shenanigens

While Adaptability is good, Download is WAY better in our campaign since it's +1 Strength compared to +1 extra Damage Die on moves with STAB.

Prism Scales exist too, ya know Wink That's exactly why they were introduced in BW, after all.

The forums had a lot of people complain about Feebas. Prism Scale is a good solution.

So Prism Scales are the way to go in this campaign . I don't think we will encounter one to catch , but of you had the resources to obtain a Prism Scale , would you replace Starmie for it ?

I like my Corsola quite a lot , but dat HP and learnpool ...

Hmmm....I'm not sure if I would.  Milotic is tempting for many reasons, but as you said, it's a moot point if we don't find a Feebas.  Which we probably won't, considering the shabby fish is one of the rarest (non-legendary) pokemon to find in almost every game it appears in.

Starmie and Corsola have some nice stuff themselves anyways.  Psywave is going to be beastly later, and I'm still very interested in seeing how beastly Sharp Coral makes Ariel since she'll trade Hustle's accuracy debuff for a defense drop instead...

I plan on teaching her Iron Defense to counter that deleterous effect , and she has both Recover and Harden to get her through trouble ! Rock Blast will be beastoly at that point !
