Well, we still haven't told Shiva in-character what the gym leader is like nor what type he uses...I doubt it'd be encouraging, though.

She already does not want to right them , but informing them even more about them will just solidfy her refusal to enter the Gym . Of course , she has not told us about her fear of Chuckles , so yeah ...

iirc, Shiva told Nathan why she didn't want to fight Corsage's gym leader already, and he told her what little he knew at the time as well.

I think it was when Shiva asked Nathan if he was going to challenge Corsage's Gym Leader.  Lemme see if I can find that post...

EDIT: Guess I was misremembering. Doesn't seem like Shiva told Nathan that. The conversation is on page 203 of the Game Thread.

Ah, so none knows that Shiva s actually scared by him, that's good to know. In that conversation, she didn't mention that at all.

@Lord Windos, now your your part of nevertheless dragg her into the Gym come, but maybe it'd be better if he doesn't try that kind of stunt given he already recommended not to. If he wants to be overprotective over her, hand her a Pokemon you won't use in battle to accompany her while she's in town, and everything's fine.

Well , everyone has said thier own piece and load out thier plans , so lets head to the Gym and finally meet the dreaded Chuckles ... Well , after Nathan gets his supplies , of course ! Doubt we will have Tim to start even a double battle , so until next time , after Iron 's well deserved vacay from us ...!

Then just have Shiva ask for them . Ben would be happy to leave you in the care of Rapheal , and they certainly would not mind hanging out with you as well ! You could even get them to tutor Abra Metronome too , if you want !

Would that be the best idea for the gym battle, though? Those Air Slash flinches and the raw power (and ridiculous effect stacking) of Sky Attack could come in handy, after all...
