"Ah, so you've seen me and Weavile at work already, have you? Well, that makes things easier. Seeing as you had a Key Stone and all, it definitely looks like you're quite the thief yourself. I'd be tempted to keep ya around if I didn't know my boss would treat ya much better than I would ever be able to. Loves his pokemon to bits, even if he doesn't look and sound that way to the casual observer. Particularly his Persian. A bit spoiled, his cat, but I can't say I blame him. You'll be in for a good life, particularly if you can prove yourself useful to him, which I'm sure you'll have no problems with. I doubt you'd ever replace the Persian he has already since I never, ever see them apart, but he'll treat you well."
Okay, now Weavile was getting a little uncomfortable with this...he wasn't really used to receiving this kind of attention...or any attention aside from Reiner's, really...Kingdra and Arbok were friends, but Reiner was really the only one who ever went out of his way to hang with him usually...

Felicia chuckled at how a fierce fighter like Weavile is unnerved by such simple affections. Looks like she was going have a little more fun with him than she first though! Still, she ceased stalking around him like he was some mouse and left him alone for the time being...but not before her long, silky tail slips in between and trails on his inner thigh while she pads away. Meow!
"Haha, its not hard to spot a fellow thieves like ourselves. You just have to know the subtle signs. That, and I watched you rob that bizaare person that has taken residency in the allys. Honestly, I have no idea how or when they slipped into MY territory and set up shop without notice, until it was too late for me to uproot them. Perhaps it was a blessing I got captured by you, now that I think about it. If I let someone like THAT slip under my radar, perhaps I've grown too complacent in my ways. Of course, when I am transfered into the possession of your boss, though, I'll be back into an opulent lifestyle, which I'm not sure I am quite cut out for either. Hmm... I won't know until I give it another try, though, so I will not fret over the details until then. The fact that they have another Persain that adores them speaks well of their ability, or at least I hope so."
The pretty kitty then meanders towards the doorway to the backroom, casting a backward glance at Reiner. "Well, given that we have exchanged introductions and pleasentries, I say we call it a night and get some rest for tomorrow. The Flower Festival starts tomorrow, so we best be prepared for the event, and all the lucrative opportunities it brings..."

"Yeah, I wouldn't worry too much about the Merchant. They noticed Weavile take that syringe off of them, which is pretty damn impressive as it is. It wasn't so much a robbery as much as they let us take a free sample. You don't mess with someone who knows their trade that well. Of course, there was also someone else that managed to slip under THEIR radar...mostly. Someone dangerous. That just so happens to be on my hit list. That Key Stone you nabbed? I'm gonna be finding that really useful, I'm sure. As for my boss...he'll treat ya well, but he'll likely expect ya to work too. Again, I doubt that'll be a problem for ya. For all I know, he might even just send ya off on retrieval missions with me and Weavile. He's pretty flexible when it comes to useful pokemon. As you said, won't know until we get there, and that's a week away.
"And in the meantime, you're right. We should get at least a little sleep before tomorrow. Big plans for us. Before we do, though, let me just inform you that this is certainly gonna be as rough, if not rougher, than those alleyways. Pokemon, money...I've been tasked with getting a lot of both. And then some. I'll tell ya the details tomorrow morning."
Weavile's not entirely sure what to make of this Persian now...fierce battler, check. Remnants of a posh lifestyle, check. Stereotypical interest in the bad boy? Check? He still hadn't eaten that half of the fish she'd left for him...though he's pretty quick to snatch it up now that the conversation is winding down. He wasn't going to let good food go to waste, after all, and Felicia was making no moves to take it back. He does his best to redirect his focus to that instead of Felicia. It partially works...

"You don't say, huh. Good thing I followed my instincts and avoid confrontation with them, otherwise I might far worse off than just being recapture after two decades! Oh, and I didn't steal that Key Stone of yours; I murdered the fools that attempted to use it on me, and looted it off their body. They only had a Beedril on their person, and they tried to use Mega Evolution to hunt me for sport, the simpletons! They made for a filling meal in the end, so they were not complete wastes of breath..." Felicia said, muttering angrily under her breath as she recalled that battle. No one hunts her without paying the a steep, severe price, not even her new master. She nearly clawed his snake to death, after all...
When she heard about the dangers of the mission, she just shook her head and chuckled once more, her good mood back yet again. "Danger, thievery of all types, and healthy disregard of society's norms? I do think I will enjoy being in your company for the time being..." With that said, she leaps up and opens the door, before saunter out towards the dormitory section of the center. Felicia certainly has a thrill seeking streak in her, eh?

Music: Dawn of the New Day
Monday Morning: Dawn of the Flower Festival!
A crowd mills around in front of the city's largest water fountain, where a small podium and stage where erected right in front of it. They were mummerings and a general feeling of restlessness, but parts of the crowd began to cheer in excitement as the city's most venerated person appears amoung them: Gym Leader Erika!
The gathering flowed around her like a flower in a stiff breeze, but her regal and calm aura repelled even the grabbest of people from laying a hand upon her kimono. At a deceptively slow pace, the idol made it to the stage, where they graceful went up the stand and took a microphone offered to her by the stage assitence. She gave him a kind smile, which caused the young boy to swoon, earning him some polite laughter from Erika before she took her place behind the podium, and told the crowd her short speech:
"Greetings everyone. From the bottom of my heart, I welcome all of you to this year's Flower Festival! Thanks to the tireless dedication of the workers involved in setting up attraction and stand, the Kanto League Council for permitting us (The Celadon City Gym) to host this event once again, and for everyone that is attending the festival, from the native citizens here to tourist from out far, the event is already a wonderful success! I encourage everyone to enjoy yourselves utterly during its duration this week, and I hope that each and everyone one of you will walk away with memories you'll cherish for a lifetime. I have a special message, though, for those that would seek to disrupt the harmony of the Flower Festival: Do not. My Gym acolyates and the local police officers will not tolerate any tomfoolery, violence of any kind, or any action that would go against the joyful spirit of the festival. We will show no leanacy to trouble makers, so if you have a mind to cause problems, then I strongly suggest you adopt a better mindset. So, without further or do, LET THE FLOWER FESTIVAL BEGIN!!!"
The fountain behind her suddenly roars to life, sending up a massive geyser of water into the air, helping kick off the festival with a BANG! Today, merriment starts for all!... and your job from Giovanni is put into full motion. You are hanging on the outskrits of the crowd with Weavile and Felicia (Who had stopped talking for the time being to avoid drawing attention to the group), watching Erika will leerly, beady eyes at her open threat toward you and your ilk. So she is putting her sandal down, now is she? Guess its time to show everyone a new class of criminal, one that can't be gotten rid of so easily...

'Hehehe...so she thinks that'll deter everyone from causing trouble, eh? Not likely. They haven't met the likes of Team Rocket yet, after all...that minor trouble from yesterday wasn't even the start of what we'll be doing...any trouble they might have had in previous years is going to pale in comparison to what's coming...hehehe...how about we make a statement? Looks like the police have been getting a little sloppy recently...'
Reiner discreetly motions towards the sleepy police officer. Time for Felicia to show off her thievery skills. If she wanted to impress Weavile, now was the time to do so.

Weavile's and Felicia's Tag Team Thievery! : Insight (*4) + Knowledge (*3) + Stealth (1) - Shiny (1) + Sleepy (1) = 8D6
(4)(6)(5)(2)(3)(4)(2)(1) 4 Success
Police Officer's Alertness: Insight (2) + Knowledge (1) + Alert (*0) = 3D6
(6)(6)(5) 3 Success, still a failure buddy!
Item: (5) Rarity: (10) + 2 = 12
Despite Felicia's Shininess and Weavile's being an oddity, both manage the blend perfectly into the crowd, to the point you almost miss then passing by the almost but not quite asleep Police officer. The Officer was quick to perk up at the sight of both of them, but a quick Hypnosis from Felicia finished the job of his night shift, and he was quietly sleeping on his feet. Both cat thieves take EVERYTHING of value of him, before smoothly working their way back to your side.
You received $1500 Dollars , his Pokémon partner (Growlith), a Nightstick, and Lax Incense. Excellent work!
The Police Officer wakes up a few moments later, before shaking their head blearly and patting person for their Incense to close it up...only to find its not there anymore! That jolts the incompetent officer awake, causing him to panic and rapidly check his person for anything else missing, finding that he had lost everything when he had dozed off. With a frantic and concerned look on their face, they rush over to where Erika was lottering at, entertaining challengers and nosey fans alike. Startled by his harried arrival, she intently listens to what he says, her face growing stony as she heard his tale. He couldn't remember what Pokémon or person conducted the thief, as its all a blurry mess from Hypnosis, so the Gym Leader has little to go on.
With an distinct lack of grace and joy, Erika and the Police Officer abruptly departed away from the fountain square, causing a small uproar over the whole situation. A sense of unease starts to settle in as the public realizes a cruel, cruel truth: Where there is good, there will be evil.
Always. Warning Level raised to Level 2.
Custom Items: Lax Incense
Cost: $2500 Poke
Use: Lower Accuracy of opponent(s) attacks directed at user by 1 ; Acts as a slight restorative for relieving stress and anxiety.
Erika has left the area, but nothing else has changed thus far encounter wise. It will take another encounter before more Police/Gym Acolyates arrive, so spend this time wisely.

Reiner silently chuckles to himself. THAT was funny. And while it tipped Erika off that things weren't going to be as rosy as she wanted, he didn't mind too much. He could deal with it. And that was the definition of a literal cat burglary if he ever saw one. Reiner was pretty pleased with Felicia's performance there. Looks like she was indeed going to be an asset after all. Good thing she didn't seem to mind how dangerous this was going to be. Living on the streets for 20 years would probably harden ya against most dangers, anyways.
Weavile was pretty impressed with that too. Despite being shiny, she certainly knew how to compensate for it. Maybe working with her wouldn't be so bad...just so long as she didn't do anything that might make him lose his focus mid-job. Both he and Reiner were feeling quite a lot more confident in their ability to get through this after what had happened over the last 24 hours, actually...(Leveling Survival to 2 for...16 exp? We sticking with 8 exp minimum for 0 -> 1, or is the minimum exp needed for a new skill going to be the book's stated 6?)
'Alright, next target...' Reiner takes a quick look around the area...there's Emily, a Youngster, a couple vendors, the festival itself...that Youngster seemed like a decent next pick. Probably wouldn't have too much on him, but challenging him to a trainer battle seemed like a good idea for making a little cash. That, and seeing what the cats could pickpocket off of him or someone else on the way there. He could also take the opportunity to potentially try out that Mega Stone...and maybe giving Felicia that Lax Incense would help to further distract her targets. If they're more relaxed from the aroma, they wouldn't be as attentive, after all...
One Auto Pickpocketing with Felicia (holding a Lax Incense) and Weavile coming up on the way to battling Youngster Joey for some cash!

(We are sticking to Iron's rules for this. Keeps it consistent between the two campaigns, mate!)
Weavile's and Felicia's Tag Team Thievery!
(3)(4)(5)(3)(3)(2)(4)(2) Successes
Random Passerby's Alertness: Insight (2) + Knowledge (1) + Alert (2) = 5D6 Dice
(1)(1)(1)(1)(2) -2 Success, Holy Shit
Item: Auto Rare ;Rarity: (15) + 2 = 17
On the way to the young trainer, your felines caught the pleasant scent of something in the air. The aroma was just lovely, and it drew them like a Heracross to an leaky maple tree. They finally located the source of the smell, a old man sitting on a spread out mat, carrying many different herbs, medicine, and burning incense. He look like a crusty old hippie from long ago, but that doesn't mean he was too old to paaaarty! Looks like he was selling recreational drugs and was getting high off his own product, judging by the vacant and dumb smiling expression on his face.
This made it trival for the two to find and 'aquire' what drew them here, which only caused the man to grin at them and saw that 'He was smoking some good shit' if he was seeing two rare Pokémon hanging around his business. They soon left him to his drug fueled fun, with the unintended consequences of drawing more business to his stand (People saw that if Pokémon could get high of it, they wanted to try the stuff too!) and opening up a new Encounter for Reiner. Erika isn't doing a great job of overseeing the Flower Festival right now, isn't see? Well, at least not until you lit a fire under her!
You received a Balm Mushroom.
Custom Item: Balm Mushroom
Cost: $7500 Poke ($25000 if you find the right buyer)
Use: Can either be sold for a hefty profit, or turned into a powerful psychoactive drug that boosts all the Stats of a Pokémon in battle, but lowers Accuracy of moves (- 2 Accu), in addition leaving the target in Drugged state. Need at least 3 Medicine to attempt to make a batch, but you can get someone else to do the job instead, if you can find them. That is some good drugs, man!
Drugged: Essentailly Self Inflicted Confusion, only funnier and more goofy. Target won't damage themselves if they fail the insight roll, but won't be doing much of all, really (They lose an action).
When you all eventually make you way to Joey and offer to battle with him, and you quickly learn that, much to your displeasure, he isn't a sweet kid like Emily. At all. "So ya wanna to battle me, do ya? Hehe, sure, why not? I could use a couple of dummies for my Pokémon to beat the snot out of! Better hope you have a lot of savings, loser!"
He sends out his first Pokémon, a unusually burly looking Ratticate, who stares menacingly at you. What trouble could that rodent pose for the team?

'Well how about that...a Balm Mushroom...that's not something you find every day. Sells for a lot, too...could instantly meet my cash quota with that. I'll have to look into finding a buyer for that later...' Reiner nods at the cats when they return. They'd barely started, and they were already putting in fine work. Looks like those first two tasks weren't going to be too difficult in the long run. On to the youngster!
Well, this kid means business. Unfortunately for him, so does Reiner. "Nice rat pokemon you got there. Tell me though: how much does he like large snakes?"
Out comes Arbok! He's rather angry looking, too. He's been getting destroyed lately, and he's not been happy about it. At all. Normally, he's the one doing all the heavy lifting, not the one being lifted!
Weavile and Felicia are chilling in the background currently.

The giant, irritated, and orney Arbok notably diminishes his swagger, but he still manages to keep his cocky attitude for the time being. "What, that overgrown Snivy of yours? My Raticate here will tear them appart, and leave you crying for a docta! Get them, Wheelier!"
Initiatives:
Wheelier: DEX (3) + Survival (2) + Roll (4) = 9
Arbok: (3) + 4 = 7
Wheelier goes first, Arbok last.
