"I've already set the League on him for lethally damaging Arbok and letting his Heliolisk almost burn to death from a Burn Arbok had inflicted and its own Solar Power ability, so there's that to consider, but any help would be appreciated, particularly since he's likely used to dealing with the League.  He seemed like he was at least a halfway decent person at first, since he actually saw a little of where I was coming from while we were discussing Emily before things went south with that battle.  But seeing as he made a complete 180 on what he'd promised to do, which was to talk to his personal artist about what we'd discussed, and potentially set Emily up for a better chance at doing well as a professional artist if she agreed with what I'd been telling him, I'm not sure he's really worth the air he breathes."

Reiner looks VERY serious all of a sudden.

"If you go after him, be very, very careful.  That Ninetales is definitely trouble.  She has Drought as her ability, as well as access to Fire Blast, Heat Wave, Flamethrower, Disable, Taunt, and Nasty Plot.  Possibly more.  I expect she might also know Solar Beam, and maybe Sunny Day in the event his favorite weather is nullified or overridden somehow.  And being one of the Sterlings from Saffron City, he's got more than enough wealth and influence to cover his tracks and supply his wealth of items and rare pokemon.  He keeps a few items important to his battle strategy, like the Guard Spec and X Accuracy he pulled from his sleeves in our battle, and that gun securely hidden on his person, and I expect that Shiny Ninetales, which is contained in a Luxury Ball for reference, won't be the only pokemon he has fit for battle for long.  He also has an Abra, which he used to escape from me when he lost both the battle and the surprise factor of that gun."

He suddenly looks a lot less serious, now.  He pulls out Emily's bag of coins.  "Get her that Porygon.  And if you want to help me make sure Archie gets the just punishment he deserves, I won't stop you. And if you happen to track down Archie's personal artist as well, she might be interested in hearing about Emily's talents as an artist, so long as Archie doesn't catch on that Emily is still alive somehow. Unfortunately, Archie didn't give me her name, so you'd be on your own if you wanted to try and help Emily out in that area as well.  Now, as for other business...I've got a lot of items to sell to you today, so your timing is perfect.  2 Arbok skins ($5000), 2 Dragon Fangs from what was left of that Coatlith after I had Arbok dissolve the body ($4000), a Lax Incense ($2500), and a whole boatload of spare Light Clay leftover from the aftermath of my battle with Mew at her full offensive power ($5000)."  

He also pulls out a bag containing Archie's items.  "I actually haven't fully checked what Weavile nabbed from him yet.  I know there's a couple Full Restores in there, but we should look through the bag first to see what exactly is in there and find out how much it would cost to unlock all of them."

And he does all this talking while sitting on the ground with Emily napping away in his arms...a promise is a promise, after all.  He wasn't going to go back on his word now.

When you began talking about Archie and his Ninetales, the Merchant whipped out a tiny notebook and began jotting down all the information at lightning speeds, before nodding their head and putting it away into those seemingly fathomless depths of those robes. "I have experience with tracking, targeting, and taking down targets for cilents that come for me for other types of business, such as bounty hunting and assasination. I'm not a deadly fighter just for self defense, Reiner, and I've both handle and dealt with the filthy rich, morally poor type before, so this Archie fellow will be mine. The information on the is appreciated, though! As for that artist of yours, I can't promise I'll succed in finding them along with the bastard, but I'll try. The girl deserves that, at least. Alright, need to aquire a Weather Ball, some Water Stone type shot, industrial strength traquilizers to put that love struck fox of his down for good, a Teleport Jammer, bullet proof mask with night vision....*mumble mumble* " The somewhat mysterious sales person trailed off as they began planning for their, though what you did catch painted a descriptive picture of just what they were capable of when they were properly motivated, either by wealth or vendetta....

They took the bag of coin, along with all the items offered, but raised an eye at the Shed Skins you were providing them. "Well, your Arbok has been generating you a neat profit, hasn't he? Hmm...you know, I can take these skins and craft them into some armor for you for $7500 Poke. Its not as effective as the armor I'm wearing right now, but it would offer total status and detrimental effect immunity in exchange. It also would have the same elemental resistence as your snake, which can be a good or bad depending on what your facing down! What do you say, Reiner?" Lilith gave you $11500 Poke for now, and awaited your decision regarding the Shed Skins and to see what items were in Archie Sterling's bag. Just before you began rooting around in it, though, they also brought up something else, almost as an after thought: "Oh, and I better get you and Emily some clean clothes once we finish up our business. Can't have you two walking around like you just finished murdering someone together, hehehe!"

In the bag, you found 3 Full Restores (Already Noted), but also 2 Max Revive stored in tiny cube shape unit, 2 Luxery Balls, a speed loader containing 6 .500 Rounds for that handgun of his, a Black Ledger with Phone Numbers and miscelanious information that was useless to you, but very interesting to business man like your boss and the Merchant, what looked to be a tiny syringe gun that contain high strength Pokémon traquilizer, and 3 Ranc Berries, imported from Cheshire and contain into their own cubic units. All the items were ID locked except for the Ledger and Bullets, of course.

Arbok Skin Flak Jacket
Cost (Sell): $7500
Effect: Increases Defense by 2, subtracts 1 Damage (Except SE Damage) from all attacks, has full external Status and Debuff Immunity (So drinking Alcohol or using Turbo still will kick ya in the rear if you use them poorly!), and gives the user all the Elemental Resistences and Weakness of Arbok/Mega Arbok. Also does not hinder DEX in worn, which is nice!

.500 Rounds and Speedloader
Cost: $500
Effect: Has a flat 6 Damage associated with them, and can ignore half the targets defense when shot, and fully ignore it if the hit is made extra Lethal and/or a Surprise attack is used.

Luxery Balls have the same seal strength as Great Balls, and make it far easier to raise the loyalty and happiness of Pokémon captured in them. If they were hacked, they be a great deal valuable to Team Rocket and Criminal Organizations....

Mini Hypogun
Cost: $1000
Effect: Puts target to Sleep if the user injects the contents in them. Can be used by Pokémon, and will have a 3D6 Chance of procing the status on each contact move they use. Uses before refill is require: 2 Cost of refill: $500 for 3 Units

Ranc Berries cost $600 to sell in Kanto, due to being an exotic product. Unlike in Iron's campaign, each one automatically raises the user's Happiness by 1. Looks like Archie was going to force feed his dragons there to ensure its utter cooperation with him, but you cut those plans short...

"Arbok shed his skin naturally this morning, and that Heliolisk ended up paralyzing Arbok until the end of the battle with Archie, so that's two skins in one day.  I'm always impressed with him whenever he seems to have another layer, even when it happens 3 or 4 times in the course of a day."

Hmmm...that armor could be good to have...but could he afford to take the financial hit?  Well, he still had the Balm Mushroom, after all...it was probably worth it in the long run.  As long as he didn't face too many Psychic and Ground types, that is...though Psychic types were not a problem at all if Arbok went Mega anyways...and still, better to be beefier than to be extra frail in a job like this...

"Alright, let's make that Arbok Skin Jacket.  I could use just a little extra protection, after all, and if I'm going to stand out in this town because of my Mega Arbok, might as well go all the way and flaunt it, right?  A Super Potion and 2 regular Potions couldn't hurt either, since you can never have too many healing items."  He chuckles.  He never was the type to try and be sneaky.  That was Weavile's job, after all.

Looking through all of Archie's (former) items, Reiner actually finds something interesting...a ledger containing a bunch of phone numbers and other misc contact information...Giovanni would likely love to have this...wait...contact information..."Merchant, you might want to come look at this and take a few notes..."

Reiner looks through the ledger just a LITTLE more carefully.  Maybe there was a note in there that might point to who Archie's personal artist is...and maybe there was some other information the Merchant might find useful for tracking him down...

The Merchant chuckles and accepts the $7500 Poke you give them, along with the Shed Skins and the other Poke for unlocking and buying the specified healing items. "Hehehe, you made a good choice! Meet me tonight (Tuesday Night or Late Night) in the ally ways to get the finished product, along with that girl's Porygon. I'll be gone the entirety of Wednesday to get my hands around the throat of that rich bastard, so if you miss me or need something, you are going to be outa luck Reiner!" they said, before coming to your side and reading over your shoulder at the legder. Lilith let out a woop of pure joy as they tore that Ledger out of there hands, getting out their notebook before rapidly copying everything down in it into their notes. Your hands smarted from the exchanged, but you didn't suffer any papercuts or bruises from the exchange.

"Hehahehae, this is a Sterling Business Ledger! You know how valuable this thing is?! All these juicy details about these rich bigwigs, and the elite of Safforn, Fushia, Celadon, and Cerulian City, and their contact details as well! There are also a few personal numbers and the address of the Sterling residences, so this will make my job tracking him down a world easier. You know, you've been such a loyal, valuable, and lucrative customer, I think you deserve something: a 50% discount on all my medical items, and a 25% off on contraband such as drugs, weapons, and some specialty items you can't get anywhere else! However, this discount doesn't apply to what you just bought from me, so tough luck there, hehahehahe!" Once they were done recording all that information, they put away their notebook and gave you back that ledger, letting you continue the search for that artist number. As a matter of fact, you did find what you were looking for, and you did a double take at the person listed as 'My Personal Artist': Mina, from the Alola region! How the heck did he get THEM to offer get thier services? Well, all you know he did somehow , so you knew their number and how to get into contact with them now.

"Well well well...seems like Archie's been busy...I don't think you'd have ANY trouble finding his personal artist.  You can't miss her.  The name Mina sound familiar to you?  She's an incredibly skilled artist from Alola, I hear, and is quite dedicated to her work.  Got her contact information clearly labeled right here in the book...though there's no telling if that's a personal or work number...still, should be fairly simple to track her down since we know who she is now."

Pocketing the book after that revelation, he goes to stand...and then remembers that Emily is still snoozing in his lap.

Hmmm...they needed to do something about that...her parents were likely expecting her to be home by now...and he had a third tough question for her now, too...

"Alright, I think our business here is done for now.  I'll be back later for Porygon and the jacket.  I need to rouse Emily and ask her what she wants to do about this situation again before we leave the area.  Until Archie has been 'dealt with,' it's not exactly safe for her to be out and about, even if he is unlikely to return to Celadon for a little while after the trouncing I gave him."

"Mina? Oh, her! Yes yes, I know her! Hehahehahe....she does make some of the lovliest of painting, and the detail is just stunning! I've trafficked a few of her pieces of art before, and I know what she looks like, so finding her now shoud be a cinch! Whether or not she'll listen to her employer's kidnapper, though.....well, that is unknown to the both of us, Reiner! I'll see if my business charms work on them, though, so I have a better chance than none!" they said, rubbing their hands together as you could see the gears turning in their head, plotting just who to ensnare that woman into their clutches, just like they have done with you.

Mentioning that the swap and shop was over, the Merchant nodded, before departing into the vally network once more. "I'll be back in a few minutes to get a change of clothes for you, so don't wander of with the young one just yet. If you want my opinion, just have Emily stick around you for awhile, and have her shack up where you are currently bunking in. You already proved that you can take on just about the worst the world has to throw at you, so your the best protections she has! Well, anyway, thanks for the business as always, Reiner!" they call back to you, as they melted into the darkness. They might be eccentric, but you have no doubt they are savvy to the extreme in their ways....

Trying to wake up Emily proved to be a futile task, however. She was just too plum exhausted after her flight, revival, and the emotional trauma that is inflicted on her. It looks like you could move around without waking her, though, so their is at least that for you to work with.

Drat...she was out like a light...and he doesn't know where her house is, either...not that he wanted to involve her parents, he'd just been hoping Emily would be able to decide if she wanted to do that...guess she'd have to stick with him for now...at least until she woke up...the Center was probably the safest place she could be in for the night, anyways...though it'd reflect badly on him if he just took her there without informing her parents...

'Gah...stuck between a rock and a hard place...wait...maybe Wigglytuff could help...he'd probably be easier to wake since he's fully healed now...'

Reiner moves next to Wigglytuff, trying to rouse him from Resting.  He could just use a Full Heal...but nah, probably better just to save the resources.  He was probably going to need them...

Wigglytuff awoken easily, now that he was not actively trying to ward off severe burn damage to his body, and looked at both you and his master cuddled up in your arms, before giving you a curious if highly greatful smile. They were relieved that their master was alright after everything happened to them, even if they felt a little.....off to them. Well, its to be expected: life and death events leave their scars on everyone , no matter how tough they may be.

When you asked him directions to Emily's house, the giant pink fluffball agreed to escort you, but looked hestitant to d so right now, pointing to the bloody mess you both currently were. Just as that fact was pointed out, the Merchant returned, dropped off two wrapped pallets of clothes (One of which look to contain cleaned duplicate of what you are currently wearing, and the other a tasteful pair of shorts, a periwinkle dress to go over it, and...other unmentionables) and a couple of jugs of bleach and disinfected for you to clean up with, along with a changing curtain. "In case the young girl wakes up, and wants to change by herself." They then swiftly departed once more, wanting to resume their preparation for the hunt they are about to embark on.

"Wigglytuff, do you know Wake-Up Slap? I don't really want to disturb her sleep, to be honest, but she still needs to answer a few important questions about what we're going to do next."

Kingdra's Bubble attack had absolutely no effect on arousing her from her slumber, but it was successful in cleaning off the mess of bodily fluids that clung to the both of you at the very least. Wow, she really is out cold! When you directed your next question at Wigglytuff, the hesitated for a moment, before they nodded their head in consent. They REALLY didn't want to hurt her, but if it was important she be up... Winding up their arm for a bit, he unleash one heck of a Wake Up Slap on his master!

The (softened and resisted) blow landed square on Emily's check , causing the little girl's head to shoot up in surprise and a little bit of pain. Clutching the stinging area in pain, they shook their head to dispel the sensation, before turning to Wigglytuff. "Agggh...I thought I said I didn't like it when you did that....owie....Oh!" she said, realizing just when are where they had fallen asleep , and let out a small "Meep!" before ducking their face out of your sight. From what you caught with your empathy, she experiencing mixture of embarrassment, remorsefulness, and a good helping of shock. "Sorry for falling asleep on you, mister. Didn't mean to , I was just so...tired, and you  felt safe and comfy...ehehehe....."   Wow, she really is bashful right now!
