[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole
"Hmm...that would complicate matters if they had level of security, but if worst comes to worst, we still have Raphael and Ghastly to put any guards to sleep, and our own mob of Pokémon should be able to overwhelm one or two guards if that doesn't play out as expect. Still, its best we don't get into another loud and noisy fight if possible, so Reshirim forbid our disguises are insufficient or wanting..." he said, raising an eyebrow as he detected a swell of joyality and humor coming from Shiva. He didn't think anything he did or said was particularly hilarious, so why was she so amused all of the sudden? He'll ask her later about this, when they have the time and are not in a dangerous location...

Her next remark got a nod from Ventus, wholeheartily agreeing with her on both points. "I will, my friend. I'll destroy them myself if I suspect they might possibly get a hold of them, as I rather have the Drives gone than ever be in their possession again. I also prefer going the left way myself, as I want to minimize the chance of us being threatened by these vile Scimitars by hammering at their weak links...."

Nathan puts on a robe as well since it's the logical thing to do in order to hopefully avoid trouble.  Kirlia should blend in sort of well too, considering Scimitars like Psychic and Steel pokemon, so that would hopefully be a non-issue.

At the comment on the Drives, though..."Those aren't actual Drives, you know, and it should be fairly obvious.  I doubt Team Plasma's Drives would have any of the functions these ones do.  The Scimitars apparently use these replicas to 'improve their quality of life' in this base, so they likely act as various keys and triggers.  You know, like the Burn Drive Replica acting as a key to the base kind of thing.  That was in the second binder I read.  And yes, they probably have a full set of replicas.  Chief Lumin said he thought there were a few different colored wedges for the statue, though he'd only ever seen the red and orange ones. And considering that group of Scimitars Valder heard about was on their way here to do a repair job and had a bunch of red metal, I'd suspect it's not too difficult for them to make more replicas.

"Now, are we done here?  We need to keep moving."

The left passage is pretty long, and is guarded by several doors along the way. It descends, travels along, swings around, and finally ascends again. It's dark, of course.

After you've traveled a kilometer or so, Kirlia alerts y'all to the presence of two guards at the end of the tunnel. You can see a thin sliver of light there, such as might be made by the crack in a door. You're about 300' from them (presumably they're on the other side of the door).

"So...practically speaking, a real Genesect could not use any of these Drives we found down here? Okay... Somewhat I doubt now that they have Silverfish hidden in their Base..."

"There's a few reasons to doubt that.  They probably have a facility entirely dedicated to Genesect related research somewhere, for one.  Now, enough talking. Let's just get a move on already."

Whoahw, the path was quite a long and twisted one... Good thing Shiva still had that small stove as a faint light source. If one got used to it, the robes were rather comfy as well.

However, finally there was a literal light at then of the tunnel! It also seemed like the Guards were no the other side of the tunnel. This must be the entrance to the main part of the Base. "Okay... We could just go on and walk through the door after knocking at it, since we're actually one of them now... Or have Ghastly pass through the door and put the Guards to sleep. However, I doubt the latter would be a good idea... Any other thoughts and suggestions?"

"I know that, Nathan, but I still dislike the fact that they are using Genesect's drive technology for their own ends, no matter how inferior or what they ultimately use it for. Still, we'll discuss the matters of the drives later and what is in all those binders later, when all of us have the time to review the note you have took for us. Oh, and my thanks for you doing that, by the way. Now, since everyone seems ready to go, let us move out and continue our raid of the base..."

Unlike the other path they traveled, this one was FAR longer and more convolueted. Still, his journey so far through the Cheshire region had done wonders for his Vitality and Strength, so he was easily able to endure all that walking. When they arrived to the end of the correndor, the psychic dancer alert everyone of two guards behind the cracked doorway, and hearing Shiva's suggestion gave him pause for thought as what to do. 'We could barge in in a blitzkerg strike and quickly take them down, but that could backfire and attract more attention than we all would like. Ghastly could knock out both guards with Hypnosis, but again that could cause more problems than not. Looks like we'll have to use our disguise sooner than I expected...' Ventus thought, before nodding towards Shiva, recalling Togekiss and Lucifer for the time being, and replacing them with Abaddon.

The blue demon was a little startled to be summoned in a dark cavernous hall way, but they soon adapted and was standing firmly by his master's side. He doesn't know why he's in this dark place, but if his master/father wants him out here, then they must have an important job for them to do! Plus, the young Wobbuffet found exploration sorta exciting, since they haven't seen much of the world besides their former home! "While rushing in to subdue them or using Ghastly to Hypnotize them are half decent options, we don't know what else is on the other side of that door, or how exactly competent these guards are. Let's try to blend in first and pass through and scope both of those Scimitars out first, before we attempt any other form of actions. I'll have Abaddon out with me, so as to stick with the Scimitar archetypal preferences. Nathan, do you agree to this plan of ours, or have any other suggestions?

"I don't see any major problems with that plan.  I've got Starmie and Kirlia, so I should be able to blend in."

"I'm fine with that, too. If we don't act foolish or ask too many suspicious questions, it should work without bigger problems. Now... shall I then knock on the door?" ^-^

Kyuu, resting close to Shiva on her right shoulder, still didn't quite undestand what has caused this change in appearance on his Master, but if she says that's necessarry and alright... She also got the feeling that the unvoiced slight fascination for the Scimitars and their Water Magic - which she still hasn't seen yet, hmm - would be rather helpful to not raise suspicion/to blend in alright. True story, in contrary to the others(?), she wasn't feeling uncomfortable in the enemy's disguise, which Ventus might pick up as some 'I'm enjoying this'-feels.

"Yes, my friend. Let's us go 'introduce' ourselves to those vile Scimitars, and see how convincing our disguishes are to the enemy. All else fails, we subdue them and move on to investigating the area if possible, or flee if they prove to overwhelming for us...."
