I'm down with Shiva assuming that Ventus nevertheless went hunting with Apsis as soon as he was alone at the den, and that Braixen finds his way back to Shiva on his own.

The woods erupt with Pokemon. Coming from the other side of the small clearing containing the den, a Granbull and a Stantler come charging out. Nearer you, where they were keeping watch, comes a Hypno and a (normal) Houndour. And an Abra Teleports in from who knows where to help. He arrives in a tree above your hiding place, clutching an armful of stones.

These are the Fireweed Forest's protectors. This is who Ventus will have to deal with if he wants to make good on his paranoid impulses. Together, they represent all the facets of the Fireweed Forest.

Hmmm...there's a distinct lack of bugs here...

The bugs aren't really plugged in to the mystical part of the Fireweed, but it's true that they're a major facet not represented here.

Hypno, Stantler, AND a Granbull comes to fight me! You are spoiling me for tough enemies for this fight...I love it! Bring it on!

Just be careful with that Magnitude usage...it will probably also hit Arbok. Maybe even Ventus. Seismic activity is rather indiscriminate, after all.

That is what 15 HP and 4 Vitality is for, mate: to soak up damage like a wet sponge! The dice will screw me over, but I have come to accept that by now! All that is left to do is just go down into a blaze of glory!!!

Another question: Would Raphael even support this? This isn't exactly an activity a Togekiss would typically participate in...

Would he disobey his Father if they were ordered to fight for them, especially with Max Happiness and 3 Loyalty? Remember, Ventus raised them from Egg to Togekiss, and its all to willing to kill for their master (Hello Delta Houndour!) , so why not destroy a random location? If he does, then Ven has more things to worry about than just some crummy magical zone!

Still, Ventus' child that has been trained specifically to fight and obey his commands from day one. They both love each other to bits, so I hope he'll fight for me regardless of the situation. If they don't, then Ven will discipline Raphael accordingly (After the battle is over) and remind them that they follow their master's orders, despite their sense of right or wrong on the matter. His Pokémon are his family, but they are also his own means of self defense and offense, and have been trained along those lines every since they were captured... He will broke no disobedience on that matter, even for his precious child...
