[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
Alright then. True, she prefers to never know a single thing of all this... (It doesn't hurt to repeat this)

Let's hope if Shiva after the journey happens to remain in Chreshire to either work at the Daycare professionally or starts at Telperion University, she either is too busy to visit the elusive spot or the den has been restored by the Pokemon by then. Her magical fox will never forget, though.

What a nice ring that has. ^^ That reminds me on a thing I've been wondering for a while, but never asked: I feel like Ally Switch, which Kadabra learns for 24XP, allows me to switch out mid-round instead of at the end of round. Or what is your call on this, Iron?

...There are wild Eevee to meet in Liverwort?! Shiva wants like three of those. Okay, only one, she can always breed more since Spectral at home is female. Is there a Moss Rock in Chreshire?

Based on the wording in the core book, Ally Switch sounds like a switcher move with no effect other than suddenly swapping places with an ally.  Could be interesting in a battle alongside allies where positioning might be crucial and you might not interrupt the flow of their actions, but otherwise it's a strictly worse version of U-Turn, Volt Switch, Baton Pass, and Parting Shot.  Should be noted that with the wording in the book, the pokemon you end up switching to doesn't get any actions until the next round.

Not sure if they're wild, but that's the location data Iron filled in on my pokedex tab.  Mossy Rock would probably in Earthstar Forest is my guess.  There's an Icy Rock somewhere as well, though there aren't really very many cold locations in Creshire...

Or it could be we use the common fangame compromise of making them items like in Uranium and Drayano's difficulty hacks.

You aren't certain of the location of either possibility: Mossy Rock or moss shard. All eevolutions can be found in Creshire in the care of trainers and on TV shows, though.

"Switches back" implies it goes back in its Pokeball, so yeah it's a nondamaging version of U-Turn. However it would take place as soon as your Pokemon uses the move on its action. So there are potential uses, like swapping into Flash Fire or something.

I would also allow it to be used in the field, like if you need to swap places with a flying Pokemon to get across a canyon.

Neat, thanks. The Daycare owners already own an Eevee... Shiva will be (positively) triggered by the sight of an Umbreon under a Trainer's ownership or on screen. And of a Sylveon.

If that's the case (using Ally Switch on field), it sounds like a modified Teleport. I feel this will become rather useful!

This particular action is part of your crusade against all magic, and I understand that, but make sure you don't slide down that slippery slope. I'm not going to run an evil campaign unless everyone agrees to completely shift gears, and I don't foresee that happening.

TO THE DICE!
I know, I know. I don't plan on making a habit of Ventus being a total douchebag of evilness, so activities like this will be rare and infrequent. He may be amoral/have odd morals, but he is by no means a monster. They just act like one from time to time...

Windos, you'll hurt me personally if you go after that Granbull. Just...don't do that, please.

I plan on capturing that Granbull for Shiva, actually, so Apsis in not going to eat them! Abra and Hypno are the most likely to be dine upon by Ven
s giant snake, due to their lower rarity in the wild. He may be ruthless, but he's also pragmatic enough NOT to kill Pokémon that can generate a lot of good favor and profit for him.

So Shiva will have not one, but TWO pokemon that hate Ventus's guts?  Oh dear...I don't see that going very well...

But hey, free leaves! Those things don't grow on trees, you know.

Oh, THAT'S why Abra is using all sorts of weird moves.  Now it makes a lot more sense...pretty easy to forget Metronome exists tbh since so few pokemon learn it (disregarding the TM in gen 1 and the tutor in gen3)
