"Noice!"
Valder was surprised by his own accent and quickly shut his mouth. He gave Theo an approvalizing nod and loosened his own muscles a bit. "I wonder if there are any other Pokemon who wants to mess with us".

(If there's time, I'll take another wild encounter. Training session is also fine, but I prefer a battle with some random wild Pokemon for Theo to smack)

Starly is worth the most XP, being an especially vigorous and experienced Pokemon.

Initiatives:
Theo: (6) + 5 = 11
Starly: (2) + 4 Dex + 2 Survival = 8

She sends out Woobat and Persian!

Braixen: (5) + 5 = 10
Cottonee: (5) +5 = 10
Woobat: (4) + 2 Dex + 3 Survival = 9
Persian: (2) + 5 = 7

(I assume it's a Kanto-Persian?)

Shiva was silently overjoyed over the agreement for a Double Battle! The Flower Field was a nice setting for having Cottonee battle. Fluffball was visibly happy to be out of Pokeball and do everything Master told her to. She jumped directly into the battlefield, ready to strike first. Braixen...looked sad, but looked up as Shiva carefully petted his cheek and calmly told him that she needs him for battle. "See it as some testing what the Charcoal I gifted you can do to your Fire moves, alright? I'll too take care that your firered leaf doen't get burned. You want to hand it to me before battling? If not, tug it away in your bishy tail, alright...?"

Seeing that the opponent was a fluffy bat, Cottonee blinked a few times, before realicing that Flying is no good. Nevermind! Trusting Master on this!~

"Alright... Eh... Braixen, you know the plan, we could use some good fortune on this, crown your performance with fire. You, fluffball, I see you enjoy the setting, so use it to raise your power, and stir up the petals. Don't worry for that bat, you can seek cover from any dangerous moves of it behind your battle partner. Oh, and...Xiani... I see you need that Woobat for your further path. So we won't battle 'till fainting, alright?"

Orders for this round:
Chanting, Fire, more fluff and a breeze full of Fairy Dust + petals! If Lucky Chant fails, use it again instead of Ember. Concentrating on Woobat for now. If it tries to use a Flying Type move on Cottonee, she'll seek cover from it behind Braixen. If Persian uses Fake Out on my Pokemon, evade that.
Pain Penalization: Both 0 so far.

Accuracy Roll Lucky Chant: 3 Dext + 2 Fight + 1 Perform - 2 Actions = 3 D6
Effect: Ignoring Snake Eyes for me, no +2 Damage Dice for the opponent. Good things happen at Storyteller's discretion. (Maybe we'll find that green petal flowers magically?)
Accuracy Roll Ember: 3 Dext + 2 Fight + 2 Channel - 3 Actions = 4 D6
Damage Roll: 2 Strength + 2 Power of move + 1 STAB + 1 Charcoal = 6 D6
Additional notes: 1 CD to inflict Burn1. A level-up in Channel brings back the crit chance.

Accuracy Roll Growth: 3 Dext + 2 Survival or Fight (doesn't matter, both have 2 Points) + 0 Nature - 2 Actions = 3 D6
Effect: +1 Strength for Cottonee.
Accuracy Roll Fairy Wind: 3 Dext + 2 Fight + 2 Channel - 3 Actions = 4 D6
Damage Roll: 2 Strength (3 if Growth succeeds) + 2 Power of move + 1 STAB = 5/6 D6
Additional notes: Fairy Wind is full of petals. They probably won't have any effect aside from looking nice, though.

Xiani Round 1

Lucky Chant
(5)(2)(4)
Braixen does a careful fiery dance, chanting in the fox tongue, and shields his team from misfortune.

Growth
Due to the setting, I will let this auto-succeed!
Cottonee +1 Str

Calm Mind by Woobat
2 Dex + 2 Fight + 2 canalize -2 actions
(4)(3)(6)(5)
+1 Str +1 Def

A beam of earthen essence emanates from Persian's coin.

Power Gem on Braixen
(6)(1)(5)(6)
2 Str + 3 power -3 vit = 2d6+1
(2)(3) Braixen takes 1 dmg 6/7hp

Ember
(4)(1)(2)(6)
6 dmg dice, -3 vit = 3d6
(5)(3)(5) Woobat takes 2 dmg 4/6hp
Burn: (1)

Fairy Wind
(6)(6)(4)(2)
(6)(4)(1) Woobat takes 2 dmg 2/6hp -2 pain

I like your idea. On the wind of Cottonee, a few green petals are uncovered! Xiani darts in to scoop them up, heedless of the danger. A battle where everyone's holding back is a lot safer, but she still scurries away ASAP.

Air Cutter - hits all enemies, no cover behind other Pokemon possible
(4)
2 Str +2 power +1 STAB -3 vit = 2d6, +1 for Cottonee
(6)(2) Cottonee takes 2 dmg 4/6hp -1 pain
Braixen takes 1 dmg 5/7hp -1 pain

Power Gem
(5)(3)(2)
(5)(2) Braixen takes 2 dmg 3/7hp -2 pain.

"You are not the only one who 's wallet is bleeding from sthis clash of our titans , my fellow battle dextraordinare! This is the second most intense battle I have had in my entire life, though this one is FAR more exilerating and enjoyable! The bonds between ymy family and I are strong and full of passion , and we will show just how powerful that makes ! APSIS , SO NO QUARTER ! " Ventus replied back , a sudden fierceness in his time not present before ! This fight was igniting his flagging spirits, giving him the pick up he truly needs right now !

A furious exchange uoccurs between the serpentine monsters, the battle close the entire time, until the dust finally settled with Gyarados as the Victor ! lApsis , while certainly unhappy with all her hard work still ended up nfor anaught in the end , she have a respectful, if sullen * Hiss *, before uncoiliing from them and slithering to thier master's side. She gave her very best against the draconic beast, and showed that she was not to be trifle with! They might be the king of the sea, but she was the indominable queen of Poison! Michael, meanwhile , was so pumped from his battle that he couldn't help but start scattering Spores everywhere! (Michael , at long last, learn Spore for 50 XP !) With these dreadful tranquilizer at play, he will surely be unbeatable in a fight!

The researcher himself was hardly disappoint by the outcome of the battle, as every single one of his Pokemon and himself enjoyed it to the utmost ! The fact that it was practically a tie and he didn't have to cough up any prize money certainly made things sweeter , though ! With eyes that held a spark of fierce happiness himself , the empath walks forward to give the man a form handshake ! "Agreed, good sir! My name is Ventus , and it has been certainly been a pleasure to meet you! I doubt that I ever forget the battle that transpired this day, and I hope the same can be said for you too! Oh, and of course I can keep a secret; It would be rude to spoil your prized fishing technique to others! As for my Arbok, I raised them from a Ekans I caught around Trillum , and keeping her well feed on wild Pokemon and indulging in her wild side has done well in making them one of my most trusted Pokemon in my family. Oh, and I will happily accept your number, and will give my own in return. I can advise you in what to do with naturally disobeidiant Pokemon , and willing to trade you any rare aquatic Pokemon I catch myself ! I wish you the best of luck in angling , and safe travels all around!"

After exchange numbers and receiving some of his Gyarados Gut (Which he was hardly disguisted by; it was nothing compared to what he had seen in his field work!), Ventus returned his regal snake to her Pokeball after checking over their injuries, and then released Lucifer to help him hunt for more King's Mineral around Fireweed. Enough of that and an application of Ancient Power, and he would have an item that would enable anyone of his Pokémon to Flitch enemies like Raphael! The fact that his archangel seemed to forgive him for his action (But not forgetting them by any means) only served to bolster his good cheer as he went out hunting for treasure!

Order : Michael learns Spore , Ventus goes mineral hunting with Lucifer , and avoids Shield Lady . That was a great fight , Iron !
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.
