Unfortunately for Ventus, he has to go through the lobby to leave the Center.

Which means Nathan is there waiting for him when Kirlia notifies him Ventus is on his way downstairs.

There's no yelling this time.  Only an extremely icy undertone matched by an equally icy stare from both him AND Kirlia.

"Ventus, for the second time, I'm serious.  I'm not denying your help since I do need it to ensure I can do what I have to, but you need to stay out of what's not your business, particularly if there's a good chance interfering more than necessary could mess everything up for everyone.  This is mine and Kirlias' problem to deal with, NOT yours."

Ventus challenges an Athlete.

He sends out a pair of Gligar. They do tricks in the air with each other. "Items are fine. No fainting. No Poison moves, of course."

Tramp opens the door to the RV. "Belle's out with Miltank. She's due back any minute. Now, where to hide this?" He drops the trinket into a little jewelry box and hides the box in the cooler, rearranging it. Looking out the window, you see Belle approaching, so Tramp quickly leaves the RV and sits in his camp chair. When Belle arrives, he hollers "Hey, could you grab me a drink? Since you're up."

Belle huffs into the RV, and you hear her startled cry. She comes out with a huge smile on her ruddy face. "Tramp! You found it? Oh, wow wow wow!"

"Actually, it was Ventus! He took Geodude, Noibat, and Numel to go look for it, just to be friendly!"

"Then he must have a reward! Ven, what would you like me to craft for you as a reward? I can make plushies, clothing, costumes, or jewelry!"

Ventus, not one to turn down anyone's generousity of gifts, thought over Belle's offer for a moment, before the perfect item came to mind. With great big grin on his face from both his idea and the joyful energy radiating off the woman, he simply said to her : "Hmm, well since you are offering, can you possibly make a hat for me? If so, I'd like for it to be...*Inset Description here*"

(If its possible, I want to have the Hat, Mask, and Cowl on, if it would not draw undo attention. I mean, come on, I have the entire set now! Their needs to be a Costume Bonus for that!)

Ventus inclines his head at the Athlete, agreeing to his condition with a serene smile, before he began issuing orders to his fighting shroom and blue demon. "Abaddon, [b] channel your powers and bring forth a Safeguard on both you and your brother, then prepare to Counter any move made by the semi-poisionous bats. If they try to target your brother instead, intercept the move and Counter them regardless. Michael, how about we give you tranquilizing Spores a test on both these Gligar, and then begin to drain the life force out of them. Do your very best and give it your all, my family!"

Order: Abaddon will get started with a nice Safeguard on the team, before preparing a Counter for anything foolish enough to harm either of them. Michael will use Sport twice the first round on each Gliger until they are asleep, then began the Absorbption process twice per round on the fastest bat, then the slowest. Once both are asleep, Abaddon will Strike the same target as Michael twice per round. If one of them wakes up, though by any means, Michael will replace its next Absorb attack(s) until they fall asleep again.  Demonic Mushroom combination, go!

Ventus did not get angry, wrathful, nor frustrated with Nathan's continued insistence to stay out of his hunt for Absol. He simply said to them : "Third time techinically, if you count the first time you brought up your plan. Regardless, you are receiving my help anyway, my friend, so its best you make your bed with my decision, rather than fight me about it. I'll see you later." The empath then walked out of the Pokémon Center's doors, not stopping or letting himself be stop by the young trainer. He made his choice abundantly clear to them three times, and he had tasks to complete today, so he was not going to get into an futile argument with them over this and rile him up even further. They will either accept his aid, or receive it anyway: their were no other choice he's going to offer them.

He simply said to them : "Third time techinically, if you count the first time you brought up your plan. Regardless, you are receiving my help anyway, my friend, so its best you make your bed with my decision, rather than fight me about it. I'll see you later." "Then I shouldn't have to say it again, but this is NOT.  YOUR.  PROBLEM. I have things to do as well, but I have a little time to kill still.  I'm not giving you a choice in the matter, nor will Kirlia, nor will the topic of this discussion.  YOU don't have a history with this thing.  Leave it alone when we find it, or face the consequences.  Got it?  You said it yourself, this is of great PERSONAL importance to ME, so get it through your thick skull already."

Their stares are ice cold.  Their resolve steel.  Their passion flaming.  Their focus crystal clear.  

This is Nathan and Kirlia at their most dangerous.  

It passes fairly quickly, as Nathan still doesn't want to cause a commotion, though he still looks INCREDIBLY irritated.

"I need to tell Shiva what my plans for the day are still.  We'll continue this discussion later."

They both retreat back to the Center's lobby just as quickly as they'd left it, but now with the added ire for Ventus's meddling...

Shiva's probably going to pick up on that when she comes down to the lobby...

"...A friend doesn't let his friends make stupid, reckless, and life threatening choices, even when they so clearly want to," Ventus quietly said, sad tiredness taking the place of his for a moment as he watched Nathan and Kirlia Teleport away, before it slowly morphed back into serenity. Recalling both his archangel and giant snake, the sociologist made his way towards Tramp and Belle's camping spot, now resigned to be at odds with one of his best friends over their safety. Such is life, in this case.
