Nathan has to stop for a moment when Shiva says 'endearing.'  

That's a rather...strong description...was there really...

Kirlia looks at Nathan and nods.  No hiding it from him now.

Nathan deflates pretty quickly...now he just sounds tired...

"I don't know what you could say to the him to get him to change his mind, but...go for it I guess...he's being stubborn, overprotective, and acting exactly like my mom before I convinced her to let me go on this journey.  Ugh...he was headed to the campgrounds to meet Belle and Tramp, by the way, to finish whatever errand he was on last night..."

"...I appreciate the offer to help indirectly, ya know...Braixen's Lucky Chant would be really, really helpful...I'm...just gonna go meet Kory now...don't know what he's got planned or how long it's going to take, but I should be back here by the end of the day..."

He's pretty quick to leave the lobby after he's said what he's needed to.  He really shouldn't keep Kory waiting, and this situation was starting to get rather uncomfortable...

(Alright, finally time to see what Kory's got planned for training for the Running)

"Alright, cuz. Here's what you need to know for the Running. You get to have two Pokemon out. You need to train hard with them, because they've probably never been under this kind of stress before. I'm talking trust falls, agility drills, playing loud noises..." He gestures to some pots and pans.

"It's best to have a decision in mind - which Pokemon will you run from, and which will you fight? You need to make that decision before you get into a situation."

"We're going to do twenty laps around the track, then mix it up with a few of the aforementioned drills, then an endurance drill where we see how long you and your Pokemon can handle some awkward positions - planks for the humanshaped ones, standing on two feet for quadrupeds, or bow squats for Pokemon who can't get up on two feet. See how long they can hold it. Oh, but first we warm up!"

He starts doing basic calisthenics to warm up, drinking from a big mug of water.

"Later we'll practice exactly how to corral a target Pokemon for battle/catching."

"Michael, that's enough for now. I think that you have sufficiently proved the superioirity of you fighting style. A job well done, my brother!" Ventus called out to them, causing the masterful martial mushroom to barely stop himself from tackling into the thoroughly blighted bird. Giving it a fierce and defiant look, he let of a cry to the heavens, proclaiming himself to be the indominable fighter of the two. Ice, Flying, Poison, Ghost, Psychic, or Fire, none of those types scare him, despite his new vulnerabilities. He'll take the worst they throw his way, and fire back with his own furious blows, turning them into fine mulch for his continued growth! HI-YA!

The sociologist walked over to the Scout to shake her hand and to accept his rightful prize money, before he happily responded to her, his tone positively infectious with his good cheer over his 'killer shroom's' Evolution. "Reshirim has seen fit to bless the both of us this day for our tireless efforts, and I can only give my thanks to them. Oh, and to you as well, for giving my Breloom a stimulating enough fight for him to evolve. You have my sincerest thanks for that! Here," Ventus says, before reaching into his satchel and handing her a Perssim Berry! "[b]Take this as a token of my respect, for both you and Pigeot. I wish you the best in this year's Running, my fellow competitor!"

Michael eventually marched back over to his side after his master finished talking with that other person, and was immediately scooped up in a great big hug by the overjoyed researcher, startling the normally composed and macho shroom with his sheer jubilant energy! "I'm so proud of you, my brother! No longer a Shroomish, but a all powerful Breloom, we'll both reach all new hieghts of power and mastery! In celebration of this monmutous achievement, how about we treat ourselves to a feast of food, whatever kind you wish! Delcious food is always wonderful, and we both need to eat plenty for the upcoming Running. After all, you are going to be participating in it, Michael! What do you say?"

Order: Give Perssim Berry to Naomi out of thankful happiness, celebrate Michael evolution by going somewhere the both of them can have a a high quality feast at (Togekiss too, now that I think about it; maybe good food will start mending things between them?) (How ever much Poke it costs, Iron, Ven will pay for it!) , tell him that he's participating with the in this year's Running , before going over and signing up him, Raphael, and Breloom to participate in the event. Everything besides Nathan has been SMASHING, I say!

Nathan's been under a lot of stress already this morning, but he knows exactly which two pokemon he's going to have out for this: Kirlia and Swiftfire.  The two he's closest to, one being a species commonly seen running in large groups, and the other his best friend and pretty much mandatory due to their vague history with this Absol.  They could set up a few buffs before starting the run hopefully.  Including Braixen's Lucky Chant, hopefully.

Pokemon he would focus on getting to and avoiding...well, Absol was the main focus, obviously.  He was going to avoid everything else as best as he could until he'd dealt with Absol.

He's determined to not let his emotions get to him during this training, focus entirely on the task ahead.  He would be ready.  For anything.  He wasn't going to let anything stop him.  And so, he ends up following Kory, Lopunny, and Skiddos' lead pretty readily.

Kirlia and Swiftfire gain 1XP as Kory has Nathan and Kirlia doing trust falls and making Swiftfire flex her legs until she can take no more.

Ginger Town isn't too fancy, so a nice celebratory meal can be had for $300.

"That's fine then, thanks for the info and take care of yourself! As for Lucky Chant, that's settled." She waved him goodbye then, and luckily she didn't picked up that Nathan and Kirlia exchanded looks at some point simply because she wasn't keeping rack of it/it happened while her mind was dwelling somewhere else.

Residing for a few more minutes in the Center, Shiva soon made her way out of the center, and off she was still with her beloved fluffball floating beside her. Wherever Master goes, Cottonee will follow... Simply the thought of this filled Shiva with warming delight. That talk and run-in with Nathan did not spoiled her mood too much, while she was slightly worried how Ventus will react if she approaches him with his matters. She wasn't up to being rejected or if worst comes to worst driven off by that researcher she grew so fond of (in the terms of friendship!), but something told her that if she keeps things silent and and reasonable, he'll listen to her.

First thing she did was heading towards the Trading Post, which has been moved to the camp according to Nurse Joy. Now to think about it, seemingly Belle and Tramp were exactly there!~ A pity she has no time to meet up with them just now though. Too busy, sorry for that...

The offer she put up reads as following:

Offering a female Nidoran for trade, contained in a regular Pokeball. Caught on a flower field on Route 2, might react curious-agressive to Psychic Types.

Ability: Poison Point.
Moves: Tackle, Scratch, Growl, Tail Whip, Double Kick, Poison Sting.

Preferably trading for either item(s) including shards and herbs, OR money OR a batch of Pokemon food. If interested, please call the Daycare and ask for Shiva (no surname).

Once that has been done, the harder task came into play: Finding Ventus at this camp. Great. She didn't even know whether he was indeed here and if she even starts to search for him on her own, she likely won't make it to the Daycare today.

... ... ...if that's the case, she just has to lure him to her instead, right? There were actually two ways to do so:


- Creating chaos at the camp by starting to angerly yell after him to come to her. Eh... Might chase him away instead.
OR
- Calmly ask him to please come to her because she needs him. That could...work... He said she shall please get him such cases, so it was unlikely he'll refuse if he was indeed somewhere at this camp.


Okay then. She placed herself at some spot at the camp that one just couldn't miss and took a few deep breathes both to calm her nerves over what she was about to do and to ready herself for any reaction, all while keeping Cottonee close in her arms.

"VENTUS ZACHARIAH, I KNOW THAT YOU ARE SOMEWHERE AT THIS CAMP, SO PLEASE DO SHOW UP TO ME." (No need to say her name, she was pretty sure, he'll recognize the voice.) "I... do need you. I don't know why you are doing this to me. You said I shall please come and get you when I'm not okay, and now you are nowhere to find. Why? We need to talk, alright? Wherever you are...please just come to me, your mystical darling witch is waiting for you right here."

The tone in which she spoke the words out...it reflected pure sadness. Misery, gloom, tiredness, a feeling that she relies on him now and needs him by her side...everything that faintly displayed the she desired nothing more than to get a glance at him once again.

Just for the effect, she looked down to the ground at this point, while bringing Cottonee even more closer to herself. Ventus was not there, Cottonee was... The fluffball emitted safety to her.

Mechanics:
Actually, the sadness and the desire to see him now are real, she just outplays them a little more than necessary to ensure that he'll hear her words and come to her on his own. Also, if this doesn't earn Shiva at least weird looks from anyone on the camp who heard this, I don't know what is wrong.

Sure enough, a young lad runs up. "Do you need help, miss?" He sees what you're putting up. "A Nidoran? I'd give you $750 for it...but surely that's not why you're yelling. What can I do for you?"

Nathan and company are pretty tired after the laps and exercises.  Whoo...Kory was working them to the bone...Swiftfire certainly didn't think it was fun...Nathan trusted she'd put in a good effort, though.  He was relying on her, and she hadn't let him down yet all the other times he had done so.

During one of the breaks, Nathan lets the combee out to do some honey gathering.  When all this was said and done, they were all probably going to need the treat...yeesh...Kory and his pokemon made it look so easy...of course, they still weren't done for the day...not even close. Kory still has other things for them to practice.

With the $300 Poke he just won in his last battle with that Scout, Ventus and Michael headed over to a small homely Italian resteraunt and reserved a both table and meal for 3 (Raphael, Michael, and himself), releasing his archangel and seating right across them. The martial mushroom himself was sitting right besides his master as the guest of honor, looking at his new hands and feet with a sense of amazement and curiosity. He always wanted to be a Breloom and punch those dastery birds and frigid Pokémon lights out, but this might take some getting used too... A polite cough could be heard from his side, and he looked over to see his master giving him a faint look of happy amusement, before motioning over to their menus.

"Its quite a lot to take in, now that you've had time to process it all, hasn't it? With time and practice, you'll feel right in home with your new found form, my brother. Now, what are you going to order? I believe Raphael will appreciate an Berry Salad, while I want some Fetticini Alferdo for myself, so those are a couple of suggestion if you don't have a firm idea of what you want."

Order: After this Celebretory Feast is over, Ventus, Raphael, and Michael will go to an open field around town and being Intense Stress Vitality Training by running/flying HARD and with great speed while preforming complex jumping manuvers, with just enough pause time to hydrate and not pass out from exhaustion. After that, if their is still time left in the day, Ventus will spend $1000 Poke to buy 2 Potion and 1 Great Ball for the running, tries to get a discount for them if possible. Busy day for everyone, but I like it, hehehe!
