Heart see all the local charms and everything. He was trying to find something to buy useful items: Potions, Full Heals and perhaps some Pokeballs. He find a tend and ask about the items.

"Excuse me. I would like to buy two potions, 1 super potion and one full heal please."

(My money 3000. Total price of the items: 1700. Money remaine: 1300)

Buying items is typically considered a free action, so long as you list the amount of money you are spending and deduct it straight from your account, so you can choose another activity, like visiting Vapor Falls or challenging a trainer in the meantime.

I will also point out that if you challenge a trainer, your Pokemon won't be healed in time for the Running unless you use Potions.

So that's something to consider, but Windos is correct that you can do more with your day.

I'll be off then as well. @Iron, if there is anything for me to do during the event apart from watching it on screen, let me know, but I am not expecting anything in particular. However, maybe three of my Pokemon can hold an independant Training Session while being at the pasture of the Daycare? (Preferably Cherubi, Espurr and Abra.)

If you have a fishing rod, you can even catch submarine Pokemon there. Seemingly Dratini can be seen at this place very very rarely.

@Dragonstrike, are you trying to have both Lucky Chants from Braixen and Kirlia there in effect? I don't think this is possible. o.o Don't stress the starts for help, it might end up with misfortune in the end.
