The two reasons Ventus is not 100% certain is because he's giving a small amount of credence to other possibilities, and he's naturelly a skeptic of even his own ideas. Of course, we are both splitting hairs on this matter, as our characters more or less know what the Inflitrator Pokémon is without going to Shiva and going 'Ah HA!' over the matter, and observing her response. I wonder if Nathan will say anything to Ven about his suspicion, as while the researcher promised not to speak anymore the details of the mission, he'd certainly react to the boy coming to the same conclusion as he did!

Btw, what moves do you Pokémon know? I think I remember the really important ones, but some could have slipped through the gap, so to speak.

Which pokemon specifically?  All of them?  There's quite a few moves I'd have to list. It'd also help to know which moves you remember already.

Just for Grid and Swiftfire right now. I have a pretty good idea what Starmie, Kirlia, and definitely what Callam has, and Porygon + the bumble bees moves sets would not be so hard for me to piece together from memory and the corebook.

Speaking of the Combee, remember when Ventus proposed for them to be traded away at the nearest opportunity? Right now, he currently has, since Nate been doing a good job of keeping them from being trouble, but when Princess evolves and becomes a Vespiqueen...well, lets hope she isn't anything like her mother. Otherwise, Ven might just say 'Skrew it!' and permenantly distance himself from your character, as he clearly had enough at that point.

Well, the bees are fairly obvious since neither of them have learned Bug Buzz yet.  Haven't used them in enough battles for that to happen.  And Nathan's doing his best to get Princess to think seriously about how she intends to rule, since he's not a big fan of what Vespiquen appears to have been doing either.  Particularly since it seems to still be affecting Princess and Zippy even from a significant distance away from Ginger Town.  And they've been enjoying traveling with and helping Nathan as well, which is another consideration...

Swiftfire's fairly straightforward.  Three different Fire STAB in Ember, Flame Charge, and Fire Spin, and then Tackle and Growl.  Lots of literal fire power at her command, and she's only going to get more as we keep going. Thinking about it, I could pair her with Orthros later so I could purposely trigger Flash Fire without needing any help from a friend/opponent...hmmm...and then Orthros could have had the same benefit if I'd gone with Flash Fire instead of Insomnia, but I think the Sleep immunity is going to be more valuable in the long run...

Grid has Electroweb, Screech, Thunder Wave, Fury Cutter, Leech Life, Spider Web, and String Shot. He's my little electric monster with a surprising amount of damage output once he gets going, and has all sorts of nasty tricks to make situations more advantageous for himself. And I haven't even gotten to the main strategy with Electro Ball that I want to try out yet! Agility, Electroweb, Sticky Web, Thunder Wave, String Shot...all sorts of ways to manipulate dex and make that move super powered! Though Thunder would be pretty fun too (particularly if there's rain up for some reason, since then it effectively has +2 accuracy )

Hmm... I not overly delighted e how Nathan cottoned on that the Absol must be the Infiltrator, but who am I to object... I could have known, it's only fair and the circumstances can't be changed now, plus Kirlia visibly rejoiced over meeting him and 'Shiva could not have picked a better Pokemon for the job' is flattering to hear. ^^ However, it'd be better if Nathan keeps silent about this, both to Shiva AND Ven not just 'right now' but generelly, since if he decided to speak out his thoughts... Well, it'd feel like being deceived for her, something that's certainly not desired and no feeling a friend would give her. Something Ven could also know since he does know how much trust means to her if Nathan'd approach him.

Oh, and Spiritmon, I'm not quite sure whether there's a real need to quote the whole battle so far when giving orders... Putting it into Spoiler-Tag would certainly make things easier to read though.

Why would it feel like a deception?  If he did say something, it would only be to Shiva and it would be discrete.

On top of that, Shiva never told Nathan to never speak of the topic, just that it shouldn't reach the wrong ears. (Yes, I checked)

It's better to not approach her with this topic please, since it'll be pretty hindering in reparing the crack of trust she holds for Nathan. It got a little better by now, but things are fragile with both Nathan and Ven(!) since while she is forgiving, she struggles to forget and everything will come back when triggered. Ven has the small boni that he became a close friend meanwhile and he REALLY expressed that he's sorry for what he did and promised to make up for that by being supportive to her, something she greatly values already before things went problematic due to his overprotectivenes towards Nathan.

While Ventus may have more or less figured out who the Inflitrator is, he's entirely uninterested in fouling things up for Shiva, the Daycare owners (For both pragmatic reasons [Ariel's Care] and legitimate concern], and the mission/baby Absol itself. As promised, he's going to keep his opinions and thoughts on the mission close to his heart, as he very much aware of the myriad consequence if word got out and the wrong parties hear about it. If Nathan ever comes to him about HIS suspicions, well Ven is not going to LIE to the boy, but he's going to be pretty unhelpful in clarifying/confirming anything about the mission (Though his question dodging + Kirlia's Empathy could ferret out answers anyway, if Iron permits.)

That, and he doesn't want to disappoint Shiva anymore than he already has! He does care deeply about her, you know, though not to the point of love...yet.
