I don't think you can battle someone with a wager of 700$ if you only have 600$, but that'll be GM's discretion entirely. Just keep in mind that if you'd loose the battle, you loose the money you wagered.

You can go and search for a job in Ginger Town that seems doable for your chara for some profit instead of a battle, just say that you're looking out for one in Game Thread and Iron will bring a suitable one up eventually.

That would be a good idea. A job would be good to get some money instead to battle all the time.

Does Shiva have anything to say about the terms and conditions of the battle, or is she just going to jump into 'discuss' their strategy (We already did this via PMs, so we can just skip ahead), and then go out and meet Nathan on the field of battle?
