That my mushroom of champeons, taking all the shit thrown at him and just continuing to grow strong! I probably need to get Bulk Up for them at some point in the future, or Power Up Punch if I just want a Fighting STAB that could raise STR at the same time, so that he can only grow stronger!

Yup, which is why Nathan focused him down with EXTREME PREJUDICE in round 2.

Kinda saw that Paralysis from Nuzzle coming as well. Pretty glad Agility and Paralysis cancel each other out.

He's just the best, if they are attracting so much attention from their intrinsic qualities alone! And he still has the potential to grow even stronger, hehehe...

Such awesome pokemon battle! I eat my fingers with eager to know who will win! And Phantom, you orders and abilities in battle its NOT weak. Shiva is doing a amazing job too in the battle together with Ventus. Like they in perfect sync. I simple dont know to who pray to win.

It's not that Phantom thinks she can't keep up (look at her gym battle, for example).  It's more that Shiva is feeling a little inferior in-character.  Ventus is the one doing all the damage currently, Nathan's been muscling past the massive walls that are Ventus's pokemon without an excessive amount of trouble (though having two pokemon attacking at the same time helps a lot with that), and Nathan and Ventus have both put a lot more effort into improving their battle capabilities than Shiva has.  Shiva has a long ways to go before she can really match up to the both of them, and is playing more of a support roll currently rather than an active one.

Only in this battle, maybe. But that seems to develope if you take two battlers and put someone who is no natural battler to them, and have them fight things out. I haven't used my strongest Pokemon yet, either, and one is soft-locked from this battle.

Spirit, it's simply that Shiva's strenght is not Pokemon Battling. She has nothing against it, but developing a super-skill in this field is actually not my chara's main goal during the journey; it took a little time and some good amount to chara-development until she decided to take on the Gym Challenge of the region at all, which was clear for Ven and Nathan right away. Her battle style is a kinda different one as well, especially later she'll be able to pull out quite the nasty tricks to decide a battle to her favour. *insert mischievous smile here* I appreciate the words and concern, though, thank you~
