Heart thinks for a second about what to do. Kirlia and Nathan both will not be happy to see Heart after everything. But he decides to do something. "I think I will stay here. In case Nathan awake, I will informe you. If he not jump in my neck or Kirlia psychic me to death (easter egg? Maybe)."

Kirlia narrows his eyes and stares right at Heart as soon as he suggests that.

No way was he going to allow that.  Heart had helped with what was needed, and him sticking around wasn't going to help Nathan at all.

Shiva barely noticed that she reached the outskirts of town by now, she was just walking around and watching the buildings and people of the town she grew quite fond of by now. Plusle has snuggled up to to his Master by the place on her right shoulder by now, servings as some sort of sparkly half scarf. Just another sign that when Shiva was not doing well, her own Pokemon are always there to provide comfort in whatever way seems fitting. That light somewhat got her though as she caught a glimpse of the corner of the eye on it, and something just dragged her there. Could be curiosity, a feeling that there was something special about it - her heart barely lies to her, again - or a desire to be distracted from her track of bad thoughts.

... Now this was droll. From her understanding, this was some sort of ceremony, whether a true magical one has yet to be revealed - it seemed like it was more for show effects though, from the look of the items they threw into their pot. Didn't matter, this all nicely caught Shiva's interest, while at the same time feeling like Ventus - let's hope he doesn't miss her or secretly worry for her too much, she knows how to take care of herself and promised to return unharmed when feeling a little better - would definitely hate or at least be very wary about this whole scenario.

She was rather delighted as it turned out these witchlike persons were no harm, and while Shiva would probably secretly enjoy to join whatever they were doing here, her call was requesting a FRIENDLY battle from them. It was a little suprising for herself that she felt the urge to ask for a fight on her own(!), but she was rather sure that some truely enjoyable yet not too easy challenge where Shiva is all free to chant for good fortune will do well on her, and canalize some of the remaining tension from the battle 'gainst Nathan in healthy paths, Like, the Umbreon was ready to punce every moment when she enetered battlefield, and even if she has been calmed and aided by Ven through the battle, the excitement over catching a prey won't just puff out into air.

Plusle got recalled after another scratch under his chin and "Thanks for the support and persormance on the battle before, dear one", and send out to the place were Braixen and Nightshade! The former raised himself to full high after his paws touched the ground, before eyeing the surrounding and curiously sniffing the air. Smelled like magic, like some sort of potion, were thes two women witches? He turned hs head to look at his Master, before giving her a sly and cautious smile, displaying that this was an interesting place Master brought him there, he'll gladly battle for her, and appreciated that one person with green tweed sweaters was not around. Cherubi on her part though, was visibly startled as she saw that vulture chick crowing to the sky - didn't Master promised to protect her from hungry bird Pokemon?! She indeed did so. "No need for overly worries, Nightshade! I'm there, I remember that I promised to not leave you for the birds - this will be a friendly enjoyable battle, but please still do your best, show that you're not inferior to the avians. Your battle partner will aid you."

Sweet, if Shiva wanted to withstand against a real Lampent - one of the rare Ghost Types she actually enjoyed, despite their sould-stealing nature in the moment of death - she'll have to concentrate. Quite a neat side effect was that she'll be distracted and  refreshed, so time to enjoy this battle!~ "Alright... Uhm... K, magical fox, chant for us please, and fire of a first Psybeam on the spectral lamp. You, Nightshade, seed both of your foes and seek protection from any fierly moves in your battle partner's bushy tail! His flames won't hurt you."

Witchy Battle for regain vigor Round 1?

Lampent can have Flash Fire or Flame Body, but from the circumstances - it heating up a cauldron and probably helping on hatching the egg Vullaby originates from - I'd carefully guess for the later. It being immune to Fire Damage due to Flash Fire would be hard when I said I'll battle with i.a. Braixen. ._. Maybe Lucky Chant discretly reveals which ability the spectral has?

Because of Kirlia nasty look Heart sight and say. "Okay. I know when I not welcome here. Sorry Ventus, but since someone dont like my presence." Heart look to Kirlia. "I think I go to somewelse. Sorry if I cant help you much more. Besides, Nathan problably would not happy to see me. When he get better, please tell me." Then Heart decide to outside and go to the festival. He enjoy the view from all people and tends with many types of food. He couldnt resist and buy some takoyaki when he was walking. Koa who was in his shoulder try to call his attention. "Hmm? What is it Koa?" Then Koa point to some place with a witchcraft desigh. There I could see Shiva in another pokemon battle. I decide to there and watch one more battle. Damn, Shiva problably will think I some type of stalker, but I just simple like to watch battles. But since its a double battle perhaps I can join? My team need some experience in battle. I wave to Shiva to show I here.

While rearranging some strand of hair after she gave instructions to her Pokemon, Shiva happened to indeed notice some semi-familiar person near - it was Heart, with his small gree dragon on shoulder! My, what a suprise, she wasn't excepting to see him again that fast. However, he eseeimingly learned fast, since this time he didn't sneek up to watch the battle in secret, but was casually waving to her.

...She actually had nothing against that, so she coyly yet friendly waved back to indicate that she noticed him and he is free to watch her battle 'gainst a young unevolved vulture and a spectral lamp, if he wanted. Fair, friednly and undistracting cheering is fine too. She won't let him join in the battle though, since these witches are her call, and she already send out her two Pokemon for the 2vs2-battle.

Nurse Joy agrees with Kirlia's decision. "He needs rest. No excitement, no trainers with steely looks in their eyes. And NO AXEW."

The witches only have the two Pokemon anyway, so they cannot do a 4x4.

Toil and Trouble Round 2


Now that was a much more enjoyable battle to her!~ Both foes seeded by her cherry, one of it purely thanks to Fortuna's mercy. It was also pleasant to see that these witches were around the same power level like Shiva was. She felt that even if the circumstances weren't the best - like, fighting a ghostly gas lamp with a fierly fox - there was still a real chance for her to win and subliminally restock her budget, if she'd only keep it up. Well, hopefully... Concentration and being distracting from the former harsh battle against Nathan were her friends now.  Speaking of a ghostly lamp, she was still in a quandary because 1. creating Sunny Weather will benefit their foe as well, and 2. she couldn't estimate whether Lampent would simply consume the flames if she'd attack it with fire, or whether it had Flame Body... She knew that some people, especially Psychics, use members of the Litwick-line to hatch Pokemon eggs if they made it to form a close enough bond with them to not endanger theit vitality or soul being drained by these Pokemon... Wait, didn't...what was she called again, Toil said she raised Vullaby from an egg...

"Oh, uhm, calling me a Practitioner would be a slight overstatement, I guess... But it's true that I'm somewhat mystical enough to cast Lucky Chants and summon the sun shining brighter for me if desired. It's not my only way to use...let's call it magic, studying the field of Natural Magic and developing skills in Herbology are my other occupations." ... "I'll gladly cast another spell for Vullaby after the battle - if Braixen is still standing then, that is. Okay... " It looks like the only way to find out more about Lampent and his fire, is to try it out practically. At least, her mind told her so. "Braixen, we cannot call for sun to empower you just now. But thanks for sucessful chanting, your move to drawn and enlight your basswood stick by you're foe's Ember was rather cool! Please shoot off an Ember on the lamp yourself and see what happens. He might just engulf them - if that happens, more psychic beams, please. You, Nightshade, stay where you are, and chrage at the bird with your full body, showing your're not afraid!"

Orders for this round: Nightshade will keep on hiding in Braixen's bushy tail from any Fire Type moves, and hit Vullaby with a single, but hopefully powerful Tackle. One Ember from Barixen is it on Lampent to see whetherit does trigger Flash Fire (hopefully not) or simply do NE-damage because the lamp has Flame Body instead, or even its HA Infiltrator. If Flash Fire, shot of a Psybeam as second actions, if anything else, another Ember is the choice. Even if NE, it has a chance to do greater damage than Psybeam.

I hope that Bird dont be Brave about me making jokes. That Lampent really have a Calm Mind, for EmBrai(ce)xen that fox fury. Do a Howl and make a Sunny Day to increase the spirits!" Heart feel inspire about this jokes. "Heh, problably this is my record about making so many puns in the same time, haha." I discreetly cheer up for Shiva. Ventus problably would like to see this fight.

Toil and Trouble Round 2

Nightshade performs a Tackle. She struggles to get back to Braixen in time to shelter from the next attack, but Braixen has good teamwork under Shiva and moves to place his next Ember in such a way as to allow Nightshade back into his tail.

"Awesome fight Shiva! That last hit light up the final fight, hehe." Heart then came a little closer and praise Shiva for the battle. "Never in my life I would see a Braixen would beat a Lampent." Then he looks the little Vulaby who was behind the skirts of that person. "Little one, dont be afraid of loose sometimes. Loose is part of the Pokemon battles. Even when you loose, you can learn with your mistakes and became even more stronger! Do you best and one day you will became a powerfull and strong Mandibuzz one day. You too did a awesome fight." Heart then do a positive finger for the bird pokemon. Koa then jump from his shoulder and do too a positive to the little bird.
