We still haven't left Ginger Town due to Nathan desired to battle both me and Ventus, which was...not very pleasant the two while Nathan passed out due to that battle and won't wake up until tomorrow morning (He's in the Center currently, taken care of by Nurse Joy). Though, I hope we'll be able to start way to Stair City the next in-game day, maybe Valder can return to us just when we exit town?

I liked Iron's play on words with Shiva's battle Tongue

Double (Battle), Double toil and trouble (the trainers)
Fire burn (Lampent) and Cauldron bubble (technically Vullaby).

Good ol' Shakespeare, amiright?

Shiva gains 4XP for this thematic battle. Each of her Pokemon gain 3XP.

@Nylon /Valder, I agree with how you can return to the party as they leave town. Or whenever, really. Your XP is now up to date - we didn't go very far while you were gone.
When you left the Running, an albino Donphan followed you into the mountains. It won't let you too near, and it won't let you catch it, but it sometimes will move rocks out of the way or attack wild Pokemon on its own.
The party simply battled among themselves; nothing plot-related happened. So now they are heading toward Stair City, the technologically advanced capital. We know there are Almanacs here.

Technologically advanced capital, yay! Shiva will probably feel homey rather quickly due to how it'll remind her on her home town.

I'll await until Ventus has finished his battle, then I'll let Shiva run into him at the Center, before soon turning in for bed to call it a day.

Well, that training roll ended well for Kirlia.

Or did it? Tongue

Was going to try and get Hypnosis first, but the situation lent itself very well to Dream Eater being useful in this very specific case, so...

At the very least, Kirlia is going to be a downright terror to face when working with other pokemon that can inflict sleep in the meantime.

Whoah, Hypnosis is suprisingly expensive for Kirlia with 53XP. Though, with Dream Eater and Draining Kiss it has a nice source of healing himself up.

Yeah, it's crazy how ridiculously expensive some of the Ralts line's later moves are.  And Gardevoir makes all of the ones after Heal Pulse even MORE expensive.

Except Magical Leaf.  Gardevoir spends less EXP than Ralts to learn it, weirdly enough.

Thankfully, Gallade's moves retain the same EXP cost as Kirlia's instead of shooting up like Gardevoir's (though the only attacks that are in both of their movepools are Heal Pulse, Stored Power, Confusion, Double Team, and Teleport)

Fun Fact: Even factoring in that OR/AS reduced the level Ralts/Kirlia/Gardevoir learn Hypnosis to 37/44/49 from 45/53/65, Gardevoir is still the one pokemon that learns Hypnosis the latest out of all pokemon that can. Second place goes to Kirlia. Third goes to Xurkitree (43), fourth goes to Ralts (though gen 3 Ralts is still fourth, gen 4 ties for third, and gen 5 and XY are third instead of fourth), Sandyghast/Palossand (27) get fifth, and then everything else either learns it at level 20 or below or gets it as an egg move (well, except pre-OR/AS Spinda, who learns it at 23).

The poor Ralts line has to put in quite an effort to be able to use the dang move, unlike almost everything else :/
