The empath could help but shake his head in pure amusement as the down to earth dino decided to beat an unconventional retreat after realizing its would be victims would instead victimize them if he stuck around too long! Ven quickly regain his seriousness and focus, though, as neither him or his friends were out of this unexpected Running yet!

Heart shrugs himself for got separate from the rest of the party. In the moment that Rhyhorn appear he brings Koa and let Monferno stay to fight. They need experience in fight together against that Pokemon. "Alright guy and girl. We must takedown that Pokemon very quickly. Koa two Dual Chop. Rose Close Combat two times.

Not desiring his precious mushroom of champeons being roasted and toasted by the encoarching lava camel, Ventus gave it a wiiiide berth as he made his way through the stampede....only to almost run smack dab in front of a fierce Bouffalant! Badly startled by this unexpected encounter with one of his native land's indeginous species, he hastily called out to his Pokémon: "Lucifer, distract this bull by making its ears ring with Screech, before nibbling away at it with Bite to unnerve the beast! Michael, its time to truly show of your Fighting type, so slug this Bouffalant with blazing speed, my brother! Do it now, before it gets the chance to gore us all!"

Order: Screech and 2 Bites from Lucifer this Round, followed by 3 Bite per round afterwards, while Michael spends 23 XP out of his current 26XP to learn and use Mach Punch three times per round on the beast! After it falls, Michael will test to see whether or not Stun Spore will work on it (If it has Sap Sipper). If it does, Ven will use his last Great Ball on it, but if it doesn't,  leave it to be trampled to death by its kin while Ven uses the last of his stamina to try and find something worthwhile to catch. Also, have Lucifer Frisk it to see if it has any goodies on it, before stealing them of its unconscious form if it hasn't used them yet! Let me go hog wild on this thing!

Meanwhile, Ventus encounters another very common Doduo, the heart of this stampede.

How neat... The moment the Pokeball stopped shaking was wonderful to watch. Shiva might not have suceeded to catch a glimpse on a Milotic, but now she not only obtained some water that she strongly believed to be purified by a Suicune - why else should it be so crystalclear? - but also a real Tropius. Oh the irony that before she was too cowardly to watch the Running in Ginger Town in real, and now she was able to snatch one of the rarest Pokemon that run... Side note, maybe it was not thaaat cowardly to soft-hide in the Daycare, given all the chaos the horde of Absol brought to the people.

In a quick movement, she sweeped the Pokeball containing her new grassy dragonlike companion before more Pokemon come running, and just a few moments later she almost crashed into a Stantler! If she wasn't mistaken though, she also caught a small strike of a light pink colour nearby... Sending Tropius to Bill's PC for now, Shiva gave another pat to the neck of Swiftfire, motioning her to keep running. With Lucky Chant on her side, she surely felt a little more safe as the instant panic subsided more and more. "Swiftfire, you saw that strike of pink as well? If so, please charge over it, as I feel this might be a particular timid (bad tongues say 'cowardly') Fairy-Type..."

...It indeed was! What a weird feeling to see this small Pokemon running among all these intimidating huge Pokemon. Galloping right beside it for a little while, Shiva developed an urge to save that Fairy from the rampaging mass of running Pokemon, and eagerly extended a hand as close to Snubbull as possible without risking to fall from Swiftfire. "Lil' Snubbull, I don't know why your are running here (must be indeed nature's call?), but in case you haven't noticed, there is a MASS of Pokemon behind and coming closer that might easily overlook a small Pokemon like you, so if you prefer to stay safe, please take my hand!"


Mechanics: I remember feeling sorry outta-character for that Snubbull running among all these rampaging quadrupeds, so now there's the chance to save it!~ Is that attempt enough to roll an Insight-Empathy-Check of acquirering? If that is no option or the roll fails, Cottonee will be called out replacing Braixen, and hit that Snubbull with a Fairy Wind (neutral damage, 8 dice in Accuracy and 5 in Damage) and a Confuse Ray from Litwick (6 dice in Accuracy after suffering -2 Pain in Tropius-Encounter), before Catch Attempt #1 with a regular Pokeball.

[Dragonstrike]

Fairy or not, Nathan's not interested in Snubbull right now.  He's looking for Grass types.  And if he wasn't mistaken, there was one nearby...

Nathan chucks a bag of meat at Snubbull to distract it (and probably all the other carnivores around as well) while he heads in the opposite direction with Calam and Kirlia (and Grid till clinging to Nathan's bag) to catch up to that Skiddo and hopefully head it off from the Run!

The empath's eyes widen in fright as the Boufullant's horns glowed green for a Mega Horn attack on Lucifer, but he let out a sigh of relief when his beloved bat. That feeling was replaced soon enough by another,  one far more cold and merciless: a Traquil Fury. Nothing tries to mortally wound his Pokémon without paying a steep price in blood themselves. "Michael, Lucifer, let's dispatch this beast. If it tried to kill us with its fierce attacks, then it must suffer those same consequences. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, a life for a life almost taken," he commanded both his Pokémon, his face impassive and menacing as the caggy mountain sides of the dive as Ventus and his Pokémon descended upon it with righteous fury and indignation.

Nothing tries to kill his Pokémon. NOTHING.

After the researcher quickly verified that the buffalo was most assuredly dead, he continued onward into the surging mass of livid and wild beast, and happen to come across a familiar face: it was that Doduo from earlier! 'What is with all these Pokémon chasing me around? I have done nary a thing to them, besides defend myself from their wrathful nature!' the researcher grumply thought to himself, before he quickly signal to Lucifer and Michael to take down this bird as expediently as possible. Given his strong bond with either creature, he doesn't have to vocalize his intent for this particular bird: KOed and left behind!

Order: Kill the wild bull with Lucifer and Michael with EXTREME predjudice, then have the bat use Screech + 2 Bites in the first Round against Doduo, 3 Gust per round from then on, and have the shroom quickly use Spore on it before using Façade twice in that round, and two time per round afterwards. If Doduo goes after him, though, Mach Punch three times per round instead, as striking fist against the bird is more important than putting it to sleep!
