Doduo is easily dispatched, not even worth rolling out and not worth any XP to Ventus. Ventus gains 1Xp from the Running experience as a whole.
Bouffalant is rare outside the Running every year - now there's one less to roam the plains of Southwest Creshire!

With the lingering sensation of pure, ubridled anger from the now executed Bouffalant's transgressions, Ventus and his brothers were even MORE ruthless in their 'approach' to the wild, stampeding Pokémon. So when that Doduo decided to continue is vendetta against the sociologist and his ilk, it turn out....very poorly for them. The bird didn't die or suffer much at all, honestly, but it was clearly outmatched and was subsequently curbstomped into the rocky dirt with such expedience and force that the surrounding Pokémon watching the display decided to wisely leave the man well enough ALONE.

Eventually, Ven, Michael, and Lucifer broke past the bulk of the Running herd and made it out to the other side in more or less one piece. Panting from both his laborious performance and the adrenaline in his system fading away, he wiped the sweat off his brow and walked over to one of the stone walls of this natural mountain funnel and leaned against it. Michael jogged over to him and took a spot beside his master, while Lucifer swooped down from above to land on their shoulder. The three of them just relaxed against the wall for now, waiting for the rest of the group to break free from the crowd and to allow some time for their smarting muscles to stop complaining. "By Reshirim, I knew traveling through the Divide would hardly be an easy going affair, but to think we would all have another go at the Running here of all places...! I hope my friends fared better than I this time around..." he muttered to himself, eyes glued to the rampaging Pokémon for any signs of Shiva, Nathan, Heart, and/or Valder.

Order: Wait for everyone to finish with the Running in some capacity, as their isn't much to be done until Heart/Valder/Nathan finish up with the Running. That's all for now, folks!

Time for a quick change of Pokemon. He returns Koa since Dragon it's not much effective against Steel. Then he brings his Clauncher, Gustav. "Okay guys, let's do it quick then join with the others. Viktor use Confuse Ray in Aron then go with Feint Attack! If Confuse Ray fail, use again! Gustav Vice Grip!

Order: Wait until Aron HP is one then use my Pokeball to capture.

As soon as Swiftfire approaches and Shiva dismounts, Skiddo runs over and starts getting...cuddly.  Which Swiftfire finds REALLY odd.  Why's a pure Grass type getting so close to her?  She was tired...she just wanted to lay down and rest for a little bit...that run had been sorta fun, but yeesh, it was almost as demanding as trying to keep up with that suspicious Absol...and now this goat was hovering around her...

While Shiva's looking at the cute little Skiddo somewhat curiously, Nathan does something that even Kirlia hadn't quite seen coming...

Before any of the others present could react, Nathan's wrapped her in a hug.

The afformentioned dubiously stable empath was currently viewing this scene with a small smile on his face from a walled in pocket in the mountain funnel's walls, which conveniently concealed his location from the prying eyes of any kind. He choose the spot earlier as a safe vantage point to keep watch for his friends while recovering in relative peace/solitude, but he didn't expect to stand witness to such an unexpectedly heartfelt gesture of reassurance from Nate! For now, though, he kept quiet and his presence unknown to the two, as the last thing he wanted was to ruin the moment and their camaradance by casually strolling on in!
