Gastrodon would be a interesting choice since he have only weakness to Grass, but it's water who complicate some things. Steelix would be cool, and have access to Mega. So many options and so little time...any suggestions?

Well, Steelix would be cool if the GM allowed it...it's one of those giant pokemon that has a ridiculous amount of HP and is usually VERY hard to control or very difficult to obtain (or both).

There's too many things I could possibly suggest for me to suggest any one of them specifically, though. Nothing wrong with using Aron or Rhyhorn in your team, though.

Especially with Aron, as it evolves into Aggron, another Steel type that gets a rather neat/powerful Mega Evolution that also completely makes it neutral to SE damage in the game, Filter. The question, of course, is whether or not we'll even get access to Key Stones and Mega Stones until late, LATE game, if at that!

I'd like to have a Mega Arbok on my team for obvious reason, really, though having Hanael on my team opens up the possibility for her to enjoy Mega Evolution privilages as well, if need be!

If you are looking for really good Steel types that can also Mega Evolve, Scizors and Mawhile are also nice choices as well, as both have useful abilities in and out of battle (Mawhile's been nerfed, but still!) and have rather powerful moves too!

As for Poison types, I'd recommend ditching Venipede for some Pokémon, as it will take MONTHS of in game time for it to fully evolve, and from my conversation with Iron on the subject, their is no way to speed up such a type of evolution with XP or other factors. NidoKing/Queen, Weezing, Skunktank, Crobat, and Venusaur are all good options that don't have long evolution cycles or are particularly viscous, compared to Venipede

Mega-Whimsicott for Shiva would be cool, but I don't know whether she'd become a good enough Trainer to be able to trigger Megaevo at all... Well, the strong bond to her Starter she already has.

Panchams are very impressionable, so every Pokemon he hangs out with will make a difference. Only dark types he's very close to will trigger evolution, though.

I remembered that while Vincent's backstory seemingly involves lot of Dark Types, Shiva's includes not many but one particular with yellow rings on its body that she's rather close too and could carefully be called 'her first Pokemon', although it hasn't her ID and OT.  But it's out of range because it's at home. If it'd be in theory available though, Shiva'd probably choose that one as the partner to trigger evolution in Pancham.

@PhantomUnderYourDesk: Considering that you are going to be raising it into becoming one of the myraid members of your team, knowing a bit more about what moves it can learn can really be useful when it comes time to find TMs/Move Tutors to round out its weaknesses! Its how I learnt that Lucifer could learn Iron Tail and cover all his weakness in one powerful (If highly inaccurate) move! Drain Punch/Healing moves in general is also swank, as demostrated by Michael, Heal Tank of the century!

I completely overlooked that Noibat actually can learn Iron Tail via Tutor in gen 6, actually...whoops.

However, Piloswine can't.  That Steel Tutor really is something special, isn't he, if he can teach those 3 Steel moves to ANY pokemon...

Probably should have said "any Pokemon with a tail" but oh well. Maybe the move creates a tail for Pokemon like Noibat and Piloswine - we'll go with that when applicable. I do like the imagery, and a cybernetic tail fits with Stair City's themes.

Normally move tutors can only tutor Pokemon who have the move on their level up list or as a ? or in a move that all Pokemon can learn (Facade, Double Team, Toxic).
