Well...that was an anti-climactic ending to that battle...good thing I wasn't seriously attempting to win it...

I was kinda surprised you actually bet money on the fight, since it seemed like you didn't have to cough any up to showcase Slowking and Orthros to Sheldon AND the fact that he's overwhelmingly strong to boot even if he was not being serious. Seemed like you were throwing your Poke away at that point for no real good reason, both in and out of character.

There's a reason: Sheldon wasn't there to battle, remember?  Some compensation was in order for that unintended showcase, no?  Nathan's got plenty o' cash on hand still anyways (still got over 2k, lol).

If you wanted to compensate him, then just showing Nate's Rare Pokémon and offering Insight into the situation would have sufficed in my opinon, but its not my place to say what you do with your Poke, just offer my opinion on the matter. For me, I don't like wasting resources on things that I don't stand a decent chance from benefiting from, so I guess my perception skewed my thoughts on the matter.

Nathan's a pretty practical guy, but he's also pretty nice.  Well, as long as he's not angry, that is...made some sense in character for Nathan to sweeten the deal a little imo.  And 300 is pretty easy to regain, so no real loss there.  Nathan's also ultimately learned more then Sheldon has, so the 300 also balances things out a little.

Im delighted to hear that Shiva was subliminally able to raise Ven's good cheer!~ There is one other thing that Shiva wants to ask you. Or hear his thoughts about the matter. May sound strange at first, but it'll be part of a thing soon. I also think she won't react too negatively if Ven asks her about those...twin tailed thingies; a bit self-conscious yes, but not hurted or put on edge. It's just a sensitive topic.

Also curious what may (or may not) change between them after Ven got that 'approval of her father'. C:

Well, of course your character would help mine cheer them up! That's a given, due to the strong bond between them and her natural talent of mending conflicts, both apparent and not!

Hmm....hopefully not too strange, or Ven might go into fearful zealot mode again (Kidding, of course)! He's not going to bring the dual thought pattern unless at least both he and her are both turning in for the night, so worry not about that my darling!

Anyway, she won't ask directly. She's only getting used to the thought of a relationship among her strenght-seeking, causing these faint anxious-joyful emotions in her...

Hey Iron, quick question: If Ven were to buy a high enough quality Make Up Kit, would he be able to alter/change a person's appearance with enough time on a whim, or does that require a roll in cases beyond merely touching up on someone's appearance/hiding scars and such? He's gained enough experience with cosmetics from his mother, his days working as a make up artist AND his various illicit work in Team Plasma, so its not like its an impossible task for him! Just potentially tricky.
