Haha, I hope for no CHAOS! indeed, plus Shiva asked Ven to not power himself out too much. (Which he agreed to!) She wouldn't enjoy it if the appointed call home to Castelia would need to be delayed to another day because Nathan, since she asked first and now, after she and Ven spend a pleasant day with one another, is the ideal time to do so. (Plus, I'm looking forward to that part...) If the connection to Unova is functioning today, that is!

Alright, here's the plan: I'm taking this a little more slowly this time instead of doing one big info dump. Nathan's got a lot to say, but isn't entirely sure how to phrase it. Let's see if we can't work something out here without raising tempers...

I simply desire for something like 'Not really friends, but able to work together when needed' or 'Agree to disagree' as Windos melodically named it as a result or soon result.

Very much so. You got his attention, though, and not in a bad way. He's not unreasonable now. Just very angry, very hurt, and unbelievably tired of fighting with you. Not caring about someone is easier when they kept hurting you, time after time, after all.

I don't know whether I like to be semi-involved in drawing that line for Nathan, but I'm both glad that Shiva was able to prevent that Rattata from death in the first place and you people didn't get at each other's throats...

Nathan's still not completely off the hook for his recent transgretions against Ventus, even if half of them were due to poorly thought out encouragement, but things are on the mend as it is. Raphael and Shiva really helped undo the defensive bitterness and resentment/vivid distaste towards you character, and Nathan acknowledged Ven's points/earlier argument and gave him sincere answers to his hard questions without biting his head off or sidestepping them entirely, so they more or less managed to defuse tensions to the point that he would consider their words without inciting backlash or reigniting ill feelings towards them.

It didn't hurt that you didn't back him into a corner or use his past/beliefs against him during their 'heart to heart', so points for that as well! That, and we both wanted our character to at least make up on the lowest level possible, so its only natural we would both work towards that goal rather than have our character tear into each other or induce CHAOS! once more between them.

Basically, we went in with the goal of getting our character to better understand and tolerate each other, was determined to fulfill it no matter what and play things out carefully/considerately, and walk out exactly what we wanted. Not to surprisingly, really, when you think of all the extenuating factor OCC and IC.

There's a very, very, veeerrrrryyyy faint trace of jealousy in that.  Yup...Ventus gets all the special treatment, doesn't he?  Not that Nathan was going to say anything about it...*sigh*...

Well, Nate's not wrong about this, but Ven has more than earned that level of favorisitm from Shiva at this point with all the care, support, and attention he given her throughout the journey. The fact that they can share a bed together so easily without a fuss or muss should be an indicator of that! Vishnu ship is sailing nice indeed, yes yes....
