Wait a moment, @Iron... That quick Round of Combat, will it be first Ventus against Chansey then Shiva = having our Round consecutively, or will it be both me and Ventus against the Chansey = having our Round simultaneously?

The roll would be Dexterity + Fight + Evasion for an evasion roll.  Alert + Insight + Survival is just for avoiding getting ambushed and the like.

Almost all rolls use one attribute, one skill, and one specialty.

Yeah, Dex is a very, very important thing to level.  All the attributes are to a degree.  Strength affects damage pretty heavily, particularly when using low power moves.  Dex affects accuracy, initiative, and evasion.  Lots of fighty stuff, and it also affects movement speed and maneuverability.  Vitality affects both Defense and HP, so it's very, very important, particularly when trying to stomach taking high power moves.  And Insight...well, that's mostly for attempting to persuade pokemon to join you, knowledge and social related stuff, and avoiding getting ambushed.

Insight's currently the least important one overall since its influence is primarily outside of combat, while the others are very much very, very combat heavy.

Insight is my favorite Attribute for a few reasons. Suit's Shiva's character well, for example.

Okay, now this is a weird fun fact about Rotom: apparently, in the gen 6 anime, there's a Rotom that had the ability to time travel when it took control of an elevator.

And this isn't the only instance of time travel in the anime that isn't caused by Celebi nor Dialga. There's also apparently a time portal of some kind in Twist Mountain's depths, there's one instance of a trainer's Baltoy using an altar of some kind to go to time travel, and then there's one instance of time travel via an object of significant value...

The anime sure does some wacky stuff, doesn't it? And I'm sure this isn't the last time I'm going to say that, either...

You know, I was wondering about something when I spotted Kingdra: would it be open to hunting and eating wild Pokemon like Apsis is? That would be a great way to not only keep it well feed, but for it to exercise his powers and totally dominate his targets, letting them be a good outlet for his prideful nature instead of some other poor trainer's Pokemon...or Ventus himself.

I was also wondering that, since Shiva is working at the daycare center too, it would be possible for her to help tutor it Rain Dance in her free time, if at all possible, while my character tutors any of her Pokemon out that would be playing/helping in exchange.

Oh, and looks like Ven has a video call to make with Mallorn tonight, and REALLY be as charming and persuasive as possible!

...'With his interest in lore, Pokemon in general, and that open, all encompassing mindset/heart of his, he could easily become a Proffesor or Researcher should he choose to reach higher education, but I do believe he needs more growth and life experience before he ready to contemplate those future paths...

Ah, I was wondering how long it would take someone to comment on this.

And yup, Nathan definitely needs some more time before he decides what he's going to settle on doing with his life.  He's got a lot of options, though he's only really looked at ranching and training pokemon before since that's what his parents do.

Another note concerning Rotom in the anime: it can apparently morph electronics to fit its desired form to a limited degree. So I believe it could, in theory, morph Nathan's pokedex to a more fitting shape if it decided it liked being a pokedex...

Since Rotomdex is a usable pokemon in the 1.2 rulebook, should probably mention what type and move changes occur according to those rules if it takes that form. Its type becomes pure Electric, and it gains the ability to use the move Light Screen (though it does break the trend of the secondary type matching the new move it can use in that form...not that a Psychic type would do Rotom much good since the only damaging Psychic move it learns is Dream Eater. Light Screen is also a little odd to have as a unique move since every Rotom can use it via TM...hmmm...).

Not sure if that information will be relevant in this campaign, but hey, it's there if we need it, I guess.
