[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole

Gothitelle drops a single tear at the idea of stargazing with a trainer.

Okay... That was a reaction Shiva might not have expected. Well, 'expected' maybe yes, but not to such a degree... But she took it as a good omen. She received both a pleased smile and a rescptful half-bow from Shiva, before she motioned to leave for today. "...If you enjoy this idea, our path together might be green and vivid. I'm none who will only use you for winning Pokemon Battles, you know... Well, I'll leave you alone for now. I'll come back tomorrow to work here - maybe we'll see one another during these hours, or I'll take a bit of my breaks to see how you are doing. Until then, stay safe..."

Now that went relatively well, did it? Currently, Shiva was in a relative delightful mood. There WAS confidence along the way, it was just hidding from here. There was still so much daytime left, but along the way from the Inmate Room to the Egg Room, she repeated in her mind how much has happened already. Pleasant sleep, only to be woken by a familiar sociologist with breakfast and in-time for a meeting. Dealing with some frustration over an overly sleepy Nathan this morning, but showing to care. Incredible nervousness over the meeting with Direktor North, but in the end it all turned out positive. Negative overreaction, quickly swinging into a postive overreaction. Now, additionally, a feeling like...actually, she failed to decribe it with proper words. Whatever it was, it had to do with the interactions with Gothitelle... It was a pleasant feeling though, that was sure. (Inserting a Level-Up in Insight here for 30XP, raising this Attribute to 4!)

Next up, arriving at the Egg Room, collecting the pink Mystery Egg she reserved to her OT and ID yesterday was it. Of course Shiva couldn't help but to carefully stroke over these interesting pink threads the egg oozes, before even more careful putting it into one of the free-to-use Incubators the Shelter provides. "Thank you... I'll take very good care of it until it hatches. 500$ is the fine for this one, right? Wait a moment..." *rummaging sounds* "There you go. Well, until tomorrow then, hope you'll spend a pleasant day today!"
Then, outside of the Shelter, collecting Tropius from the green roof was on the agenda. Again Shiva carefully checked whether he didn't suffer any injuries from the barbed wire or the other Pokemon on the roof, before showing some care towards the grassy creature by appreciating strokes over his forehead. "It's nice to see you again, Tropius... There are god news. I'll be working here for a week now, which means you can spend the meanwhile hours on this green roof. I'll only recall you at quitting time and leave you sleep in your Pokeball over the night. If you want, you can stay outside your ball at night too though. Now, how does that sound to you? Besides, you allow me to collect your fruit?" (How does Tropius react to this offereng, Iron?)

--> With Gothitelle bid farewell for today, the pink Mystery Egg collected and paid for, Tropius withdrawn and the fruit sold to Lil' Freddy (I'm only giving the fruit for free during the working week, including the one free day), it was time to head back to the GPC for now. No need anymore for Shiva to run around in business apparel... In fact, she had no idea how her mother can run around like this almost everyday for hours while keeping a smile.

At the GPC or rather the room she shares with Ventus at the GPC, she changed clothes to her usual outfit again - aww, way more comfortable... - and completed it with the Dragon-Slayer-Tshirt and the Alola- and Kanto-Ninetales-Scarf from the Clothes Sore on Route 4. At the PC, once bit swapping in her party was done, She called out that Snubbull she caught/rescued from the Running along the way to Stair City! Some people call this Pokemon scary... Shiva however, like most females, found it incredibly cute and enjoyed he timid traits combined with its scary look. Almost a pity she decided to find a new owner for this one, as she certainly won't have to time to play with and care for this Snubbull...

I was just about to head to the city for a few errands - one of those will be, well...finding a new Master for you. "Man, why I pick the mostly complicated and disobedient pokemon to train....*sigh* First Koa, now these two. What I look, a babysit?!" Say Heart in frustration. "At least that Iroh Head is OP heh. Alright, Caesar, use Peck two times against Snover! Then finish off with any attack you want! I let you decide that! Aron, use Iroh Head two times against Snover then Headbutt, its almost over!"

Tropius would rather spend the nights with you, but he's enjoyed gallumphing about on the green roof with his friends. +1 Loyalty from Tropius, and he'll gain +1 Happiness at the end of his week here if nothing goes wrong.

Stair City has two nearby pharmacies: one is a big one where they have a lab and everything. The other is teeny tiny, tucked between two skyscrapers. They refused to sell to a developer.

Another relatively unexpected reaction from a Pokemon towards her, as that Snubbull stocked close to her along the way... How sweet it was though!~ Must be either her awe for this big city. Or the aftermaths of Shiva's fae nature that persuaded this Snubbull to come with her.

Looks like there where two pharmacies around... One was very very small and looked almost cute between those skycrapers - she got the feeling like something drags here there. While the other seemed big enough to have a lab.

...Guess Shiva will just give the tiny pharmacy a visit - at first, depending on how things develop, she might pay the other a quick visit. The bigger places have more anonymity, something Shiva appreciated if keeping in mind why she's visiting a pharmacy in the first place - while the smaller one was giving her a feeling of being listened to better by the vendor and them selling more natural meds.

Inside, she pickes up Snubbull up in her arms to prevent the Pokemon from lurking and accidently causing mischief. Stepping forward to the counter, she somewhat hesitantly places both the empty tube/package of Vitamin D pills and St.Jone's Wort capsules onto the counter. "Uhm... Hello, I guess... I'm here because I'd need to restock on these, please. I'm doing..okay, I guess, and I have loyal Pokemon by my side to help me cope, one can even brighten up the sunshine for better wellbeing. Neither do I have a prescription. Just in case, where would I be able to obatin one?"

What the heck is a 'Miasmedic'? Aromatisse Shiva knew... She prefered their pre-evoluton though, for being less instrusive in fragrance. And for their secret reputation to attract the opposite gender to one.

*thankfully accepting the new meds* "Thanks, really... I don't think I'll need a Class I Subtance though, neither do I hope to ever need it... Prefering these natural meds for general stability. If possible, can you write me precriptions for these then please? Can I redeem them in every other city as I'm traveling this region, or does it have to be in this pharmacy?"

"Close Pokemon are awesome. They don't hurt you. Ehm, speaking of that..." Only now, when Shiva held the tube that formerly contained Vitamin Pills to eye level for both herself and the Vendor, it was visible that it still contained something. It wasn't much though, but definitely a few good pinches. "That powder here is fallen Shield Dust I collected from the wings of one of my Pokemon. (No need to show which Pokemon, unless it'd raise the valuability in some way [Poochyena is in her party, if needed]) I dunno... Can it be used to make medicine in some way? How much do you think it's worth if sold to your pharmacy?"

"No prescription is necessary at all for over the counter meds, but I can write you a formal recommendation if you fill out this boring questionnaire."

"If you leave a sample of that stuff, I can see if it's worth anything. But it's not on our list of valuable substances that we buy."

Mechanics:
Once this whole scene has been wrapped up, it's time for that mentioned Battle as a Second Encounter... That methaphor of Shiva having to face the Dragon on her own has arisen Dragon-Slayer-feels, so how about a battle for Cottonee and Azurill against a Dragon Type or dragonlike Pokemon? Both of my Pokemon against one bigger foe (that means, I'm down with an Evolved Form like Croconaw or strong Base Form like Druddigon), like that one time against a Lapras.

Nothing too harsh, so wagger would be 300$ this time. No fainting please, no healing items or HP-healing moves and no Poison Type attacks this time.

Shiva hangs around the Tournament Plateau until she's challenged by a huge, buff trainer who calls himself Hatcher. He's carrying a great big Shelgon with him in both arms - Shiva and all her Pokemon together wouldn't be able to lift this thing.

He sets Shelgon down on its four feet and addresses you. "Fae lady, there's only one way to get a Shelgon out of its shell. He needs to battle fierce foes! He needs to be outnumbered! He needs a chance to use all his strength and all his guile! Hm, no fainting? I suppose that's fine...he'll probably learn more that way should he lose."

Cottonee kisses Shiva's ear. She'd love to battle!
