I'll just say this on the subject: Orthros CAN become a friendly entity in Ven's eyes, but its going to take a loooooong time (Years) and/or extraordinary effort to accomplish that, so the easier path is just have Ven learn to bottle up/hide his animosity towards them. Keep in mind that he has legitimate fears not to trust them, and he's not got the highest faith in Nathan's ability right now, so the best way to get him to better tolerate them is somehow to get Shiva to force the issue.

If it becomes an issue, then Raphael gets traded away. Simple, easy, done. I'll miss them, and Ven will be devastated by this, but its in both our best interest to learn and let go in that probably instance...

I'm just trying to keep options open instead of sticking to one, rigid path with no real solution at the end of it.

It's easy for Ventus, maybe, but that might not necessarily be the best thing for Raphael's happiness.  And as far as Nathan is concerned...well, that wouldn't be pretty to see.

Well, I can see why Ventus is so...concern about Ortros, but in the end, the Delta Houndoom just follow his nature, since he is only a animal, he doesn't have something like a human mind. But even Heart must agree is sometimes... dangerous. Both to have one with you, or meet one. He see what kinda of power the Deltamons is capable. He wants one Deltamon because he know what they capable, and if Heart see Ortros, he can help to easy the apresentation to Shiva. Of course if Nathan wants of course. In this moment, Heart and Nathan is the only one who is not uncomfortable about Deltamon (from what I could understand until now).

No, I'd rather not have Heart present during that revelation of Orthros please, as this shall be a thing between those two.

We don't know about Valder's opinion on one of the Delta Houndour in Nathan's party yet (lucky you that you're not too deep in this whole things as we seem to be) Besides, @Nylon and @Spiritmon, your people's interest in a crafted Cleanse Tag from Shiva to ward off Ghost Types in areas they're present? (we know they dwell in both the Skull Ruins and Earthstar Forest) Costs me some effort that I'll bring up if there's enough interest and you a bit of cash for the specialy prepares paper ($300), cloth ($600), wood ($900), or metal ($1200) (choose freely). I don't know how Haunter will react to this, Nylon, so I'll leave decisions to you.

Saying that, you then have to say what its nature is, though.  And there are exceptions to the rules...like Orthros.

And technically, raising any pokemon is dangerous.  Some are just relatively more dangerous than others at first.

Nathan's only comfortable with Orthros because he did something he didn't expect: defied his nature as a Houndour, however briefly.  He doesn't trust the other members of Houndoom's pack any more than Ventus would right now.

Delta species aren't any stronger than their normal counterparts typically.  The only differences are type and maybe a few of their living conditions/habits.

(...) I'd much rather save up for either the Wide Lens, Rocky Helmet, a TM (or some combination thereof) at the Dpt. Store. Oh, and the Fast Incubator not from Almanac! That too!

Oh, you want to obtain that Fast Incubator? If you are eager to save cash for it, feel all free to do so... But depending how long it'll take until you can buy it, the Mystery Egg keeps on developing anyway, so you could just give it to Shiva to carry alongside her party with Braixen of Litwick until it's maybe close to hatching where it'll be given back for Ven to hold himself. It's registered to his OT and ID anyway.

On the other hand, we cannot know how many eggs we'll stumble over as the journey continues, so maybe a Fast Incubator is not such a bad idea, actually.

It's not like Shiva will carry both the Cleanse Tag actively in the pocket of the Ranger's Cloak/her clothes and Litwick in her party at the same time, lolz... He's not a firm member of her main party.

It's very fine to save up money if you'd like to have the Metal Tag, since it's not like Shiva will go and craft them right away. Research must be done, and I'd like to level-up Lore to 2 for that one autosuccess in the process. We're not heading down to the Skull Ruins or Earthstar Forest right away either (or so I hope...)
