[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
It's nothing new that Ventus takes 'drastic' actions when he sees need for it!~

Good decision, as it saves effort and time in- and outta-game that we might use in a better way!

Ventus must be glady there is no Ibama in this because it would be a dificult situation to explain. Its like the situation: If a thief enter in your house and everything, you will try to talk with him or something or are you going to blew his face? You will protect your "territory" so...I think KILL or DEVOURER the Ninjask its a bit....drastic.

That may be true, but Ventus doesn't see or even care about that point of view. All that matters is that those Ninjack acted with the intent to Lethally damage and KILL his beloved and cherished sister, not so much as to WHY they acted with said intent in the first place. Besides, revenge/VENGANCE is hardly a rational or logical affair to begin with anyway, and that if Apsis doesn't eat the bugs, then Ven's going to kill them in the most painful ways possible if I win the bid.

To a wild Pokemon's mind, there's little difference between fainting a foe Pokemon and killing it. This probably leads to lots of conflicts between the mind of Ventus, Sociologist, and Ventus, adventurer.

Figured as much, really. And yes, that DOES lead to a lot of mental hiccups when he was/is doing research of all kinds, including Cheshire. Learned to work through it the most part...until he came to Cheshire and began that chapter of his life, that is. He didn't really adopt the Darwinistic/Ruthless approach to dealing with wild Pokémon until he first had his life further ruined by Fairies, and THEN got mauled by Skunktank for just accidently bumbling into its den. In the later case he even tried to talk it down and leave peacefully, but he still ended up clawed and in critical condition for his empathy. His field research days were also before he started to become an active trainer, instead of having Pokémon on loan for protection/research or having another trainer on hand to protect him, so now that he has actual being that care and rely on him for support, he's going to be even MORE defensive about threats, precieved or not.

If you going to kill there is no need to be paintful. Just make a quick and merciful death. Its a bit...psycopath doing paintiful death to any living being. Human and pokemon. Heart understand the need to kill the Tangrowth since there was the need to reduce the numbers. But kill a paintiful death to Ninjask its still too much drastic. Their are animals after all, and not rational beings.

It's moreso that I'm the only one who's in the department tonight.  The associate who was supposed to be here at 5 didn't come in, so I'm running the department by myself for 3 hours :/  No rest for the wicked, eh?

Karmatic payback for just playing a roleplaying game seems a tad excessive in my eyes, though...

.....Well, at least things didn't escalate beyond our characters just being angry/disappointed in each other for their own reason, right? Right...?

Spiritmon, you can't exactly prevent Ven and Apsis from killing the Ninjack. Not only were you in an completely different Encounter at the time this is playing out (All Encounters the group does roughly take place simultaneously in time), but you also do not have a stake/part in the Encounter anyway, unlike Nathan/Dragonstirke, and are probably faaaaaaaar away from where the battle with the Ninjack took place regardless of time/OOC issues. I'ved tried to do similarly in the past before, and Iron deleted that posted temporarily until we all resolved that somewhat peacefully/reworded things.

In any case, you also can't blatently disrupt mine or any other players choices in such a manner without DM approval and/or bidding XP and winning, so please don't start trouble over this.....
