Tandal jumps out of a mudhole and hugs Pumpkaboo with all his limbs. He concentrates on the more solid pumpkin portion.

Pumpkaboo is subdued for the next hour! Tandal threads a few feet of plant fiber through the grass Pokemon, and ties it to his wrist. Then he has Pansear use Yawn on it to keep it asleep.

"And that is how we do it in the Hog Potato Swamp." He grins at Shiva.

Yena gains 3 XP and +1 Loyalty! These weirdos knew what they were doing after all. Shiva gains 2XP. Tandal gains 1Xp.

Swooping and calling to each other, Ventus' majestic flying Pokemon work diligently on their evasion!

Togekiss and Noibat make the most progress. Togekiss actually benefits from trying to dodge while carrying a little extra weight whenever she picks up Lilith, who can circle for minutes at a time without landing.

Out of everyone preforming tricks in the sky, Lucifer was enjoying himself the most as he bobbed, weaved, and corkscrewed through the sky betixs and between his follower flyers with all the pep and vigor he could muster! As a matter of fact, the little devil was SO delighted by this playful form of training that he suddenly tucked his wings close to his body and barreled straight towards the ground, before extending his wings at the last moment and pumping them with all his might, shooting him back into the sky with a joyful screech and generating a strong updraft that helped speed him and his other family members up! (Learning Tailwind for 35 XP!)

For a brief moment Ventus, who was leaning against a nearby tree watching all his precious flyers preform/train in the sky, almost jolted in surprise and horror at such a blatent disregard of properly flight form, before they let out sigh of relief and subdued excitement at what appeared to be Lucifer learning Tailwind. 'Dear me, I thought their nosedive towards the earth was going to come to an unfortunate conclusion, but it appears it was him being inordinately playful while summoning his first Tailwind. *Sigh* I wish he didn't give me such a fright while doing so, but I suppose his good cheer got the better of his wits in that adrenaline pumped moment....' the empath though, hand of heart as he rallied it into calmness, and continued to carefully watch his family member continue to practice their Evasion and trick, silently hoping none of them would be 'inspired' to imitate Lucifer's example. Once was enough for his heart, thank you very much!

Hmm so that one is quite a ferocius hungry pokemon. Heart wish he still have any food from the dinner he make to the others. It just a few days since they make that dinner together with the others...he hopes he can do again when everything returns to normal. He could use the Oran Berry to atract the Tynamo attention...but Heart thinks it could be useful in the future so it would be a good idea to keep it. Then he tries to do something. "You are a hungry one little one. I cooker and if you wish, I could cook something to you." Then Heart show him his last peace of Tayaki magikarp (who was in half) and some dry food. Lets see if this catch his attention.

Tynamo has access to so much food he doesn't even pay attention to more food. Doesn't even look at you.

"Hmm, a dificult customer huh? Very well then. How about this?" Then Heart show to the Tynamo the little Oran Berry he have in his hands. He show to Tynamo direction trying to atract his attention. "You can have this if you want. Also a friend of mine have a Combee who make a delicious and sweet honey. You can have a delicious suplement of food if you like. More than this swamp. Of course if you like."

Cool. Not only did Yena followed orders and ration his biting force like a natural, but also did Tandal gave her quite a show of a capture she pretty sure couldn't have imagined. It indeed worked! For him, that is... Shiva got that if SHE would try to obtain a Pokemon that way, she'll either blatantly fail or get herself hurt. Or both. Eh, Pokeballs surely are a handy invention - just another thing/sensation that belongs to her Trainer's path.

A soon as the show was over, Yena casted a victory-Howl to the open sky, proud that he not only was able to help on the capture of his foe but also in the feeling that Master was very pleased by him when she came to his side and gave him a very appreciating look from her higher eyelevel. He didn't even need orders on holding back, as her test-acting as the alpha dog had a sufficient enough effect on him.

That was nothing compared to the joyful expression Tanda received when he grinned at her, though! It remained within her comfort zone though, means there was always a trace of coyness dwelling between the lines. However, she couldn't help but to step closer and take a quite interested look at how he...contained that Pumpkaboo... "Hehe... Glad it worked to perfection and there's no curse pestering up from this run-in!~ That is quite an, hmm, interesting way to 'capture' a Pokemon your folks practice... You'll carry it with you like this now until the village and later bond it to you with Apricon Dust, right? Also, ehm...excuse me my curiosity, but what do you plan to with this Pumpkaboo now that you have it?"

As soon as it was asleep due to Yawn, Shiva also couldn't help but to very very carefully extend one hand and faintly stroke over the off-standing brown leaves(?) on the ghostly pumpkin's right side if Tandal allowed. Yes, there was still a sprit trapped in this pumpkin body - but my, it looked so peacefully in a sleepy expression!

"Grass types are very useful in the swamp. The most common foes I face are of the Ground, Water, or Grass types, and Pumpkaboo has some kind of advantage against all of them. And you see the occasional swamp ghost too, if you travel at night. Not to mention it is cute, and very rare! This is the first I have ever seen in my life."

Rotom's face lights up on the app. PorygonZ must have left a backdoor. However, after some experimentation, it seems to be just an image and not any sort of actual intelligence behind the face.

He'd have to talk to Porygon-Z and Rotom about doing stuff like this at random.  Though funnily enough, he quite liked the change.  Reminded him of those fancy new Rotomdexes.  Shame this one wasn't constructed for that purpose.  Oh well.

Checking the egg, though...Castform?

Huh?

Why was an egg containing an EXTREMELY rare pokemon doing floating down a creek at high speed?  Castform is one of THE rarest pokemon that can be found in the wild.  Even in Alola, where it's most most common, the odds of finding one are incredibly low...and swamps aren't exactly known for Castform populations either...

Nathan looks upstream...not much besides more swamp in that direction...

Well, now he has a Castform egg, apparently...he certainly wasn't going to leave the poor thing here, that's for sure...

So, back to the starting point Nathan goes, egg in hand as he ponders which pokemon he's going to send to the PC next...

Tynamo still hasn't directed more than a glance in your direction.

Heart was quite almost giving up about the little one and think to just go and try capture it. But then a idea pop out in his head. "Dont you just quite unsatisfatory to be only live in this place just eating all day? What if anything come near you and make you a lunch? Your eletricity cant save you everytime. And since you are the only Tynamo I could see, I can understand you are the only one of your group and have been abandoned. I can take you to another place filled with eletricity enough to help you evolve and become stronger. Enough to you be called a true predatory and might Eelektross who even ground pokemon will fear you. I can even raise and train you. I a traveler and I meet many types of Pokemon, and a rare pokemon like you would be a powerfull ally. You could be more than just a simple fish, and would be a might serpent. But if you dont believe I can do that tell you what."

"Hit me with your eletric attacks. I show you can handle good enough your eletricity with no problem. A powerfull eletric pokemon, need a powerfull trainer isn't I right? What you say? You accept or are you too much scare to handle a human without pokemon?"

Ventus, seeing as he wasn't doing much in the way of things besides watching his beloved family members fly around in the sky and occasionally take notes of such playful behavior in his journal/updating it, was the first to notice Nathan's arrival back to the pre-designated meeting spot. Mulling things over the  'apology' he had come up, he let out a sigh and decided now was a better time as any to give it to him, and snap his notebook shut, putting it away, and walked over to greet the boy with a faint smile on their face....


"Hello, Nathan. I'm sorry for bothering you so recently after Apsis' most regrettable encounter with the Ninjack, but I just wanted to- " and that was when he noticed the Egg in clutched in his arms, interrupting his train of thought entirely as he stared at it in wonder. "Oh, you discovered an Egg, if my eyes do not deceive me! How'd you obtain it, especially since most Pokémon in the wild zealously guard their offspring before they hatch!"

I wouldn't like to loose contact just because of that... But... but, I have a Fletchling!!! Can I, maybe, well, and only if you like and agree, write letters from time to time?!"
