[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
The cell phone might work. But the pokeball itself could work since its work with energy too. So maybe Tynamo might like.

Well, at least you captured one of the few Pokémon in existence that has not natural weakness!, so congrats!

Now that everyone has finished their encounters and seem primed and ready to enter town and get the hecky out of the swamp, how about we hop to it then?

No, it has to learn how to make its own electricity instead of always leeching it off of other objects and creatures.  Bit of a difference.

Well, Arrowroot Village surpassed my expectations, as I thought it be a collection of reed hunts and the like, not with baked clay structures and town centers that feel reminiscent of Maya or Inca architecture! Only grip I have is that the General Store supplies are kinda gimped in my opinion, but that's reasonable considering the town is out in the middle of nowhere.

The PC, though....sounds like swaping party members in an out would cost an encounter slot, right Iron?

Well, it costs 3 hours, but you don't have to stand there waiting on it. So no, it doesn't really cost an encounter.

The most important things in the General Store are Pokeballs and Potions. The Potions are equitable with town with the exception of lethal damage, and the Pokeballs are definitely gimped because most people here don't use them and they have a loong way to go!

However, this increases the bartering power of Pokeballs you own, if you have too many!

Actually with that in mind, I think I will allow you to sell your own Potions at the same price as Pokeballs ($350).

Ah, so I can switch out, say, Breloom for that Strange Carnivine, flog some stuff at the General Store (Such as that lovely silver Hatchet! 4500$ to split amoung the party, baby!), have a Pokémon Battle/research at the 'library', then come back to the PC with the Carnivine in my party and find a trade for that, in that order?

Hmm, if Potions and Pokeballs have a 75% markup on them due to not being common/commonly used, does that mean a Super Potion would have a 75% + markup on it in terms of bartering? It is what it says, after all, so wouldn't that be valuable in of itself?

Yes, let's say 75% on all civilized Pokeballs and Potions.

And your Carnivine scenario is exactly correct.
