Shiva had one more thing to say to Ven while she simply enjoyed the closeness to him in the privacy of the room. Seeing how he stands by her no matter what may fall upon them gave her a pleasant feeling. She was happy to return support.
"I don't want to despair... Not because of such a thing. But, you mentioned you being able to...shield yourself from unhappiness and likely other negative feelings you naturally pick up - do you think you, ehm, well... ... ...could...could teach me a bit of that when we have more time after hopefully after having saved Stair City? I, well, haven't told anyone yet, as I'm by myself not 100% sure what this is and why and when this weird sensing towards Pokemon started, but..."
Next up, as mentioned, is Shiva paying the General Store to check after she has picked up some things from her dorm in the Center! Both the outdoor and indoor part are payed a visit, all while keeping her new Marill close to her in her arms. Seeing the cheer and thankfulness towards her from her sweet blue mouse, it helped to bring back her spirits.
Watching through the offered assortiments in a curious expression, she got caught by something about the goods. That was, Deyo Powder!!! Shiva just stared at it, the at the price while pondering over and over again... She was enjoying the flowers. Was it really from these elusive plants? Hesitantly and respectfully interested she *coughes* and steps forward to the counter.
"Ehm... hi. I wanted to ask, this Deyo Powder you are offering - is it really from these elusive flowers growing nearby meteor craters? What effect does your powder have? ( = how long is 'temporary'? One Round, one battle...?) I once encountered those... On Route 1. Pretty far away, yes. They where quite beautiful to me, but that was nothing compared to how my Cottonee reacted towards these flowers... It ended up with me brushing her fluff free from any sap and pollen of these flowers. In fact, now that I recall things, I've never seen her that euphoric before, nor have I seen her in a similar state again once we've been avoiding these Deyo Flowers. And I know my fluffball well."

(You do realize Ventus is going to be upset/disappointed that Shiva decided to screw around with Deyo Flowers, right? He's quite firm on his stance of avoiding contanct with the if at all possible.)
Shiva's request for empathetic support came as a great surprise to Ventus, evident by both his eyebrows shooting up to reach his hairline. 'I have always known that she has been remarkably sympathetic and understanding towards others, but I would never have suspected such natural traits would develop to such an extent as for her to become an empath like myself! Perhaps our journey through Cheshire has caused her inate traits to flourish, or has all the stress she's endured the caused of this development.....?' the empath pondered, before he gave a short nod of the head to Shiva. "I would be honored to assist you in this dear. Its a skill that takes some time and dedication to fully master, but it is one that can be obtained none of the less. Hopefully we'll began practice sooner rather than later, as the longer this is put off, the more time the Vines have to harry and molest Stair...."

Machamp envelops Lucifer in a tight two-armed hug.
Submission 3

Nathan gets a reply after a few hours.
"Hello Nathan, thank you for your concern. Our records show Max is still here in the Pokemon Center, in perfect health. Residents of Stair City are urged not to worry. Everything will be fine as long as evacuation notices are observed properly. The Grand Pokemon Center or GPC is opening its doors to any resident with nowhere to go. Botanville is also accepting travelers, who may check in at the Pokemon Center there or at Telperion Dormitories. As Botanville connects to Stair City by train, it is a simple matter to evacuate to this location."
Probably a bit more vague than Nathan would have liked. But not everyone is supposed to know about Stable Z, and there are many busy Nurse Joys in Stair City.
Arrowroot Village gives Calam far less worried looks than anywhere else has. Mostly only the fisherwoman seem to hold to that superstition. A little boy even pets him, which he accepts.
While Nathan goes shopping, Calam wanders himself off to the Kennels to sniff at the Pokemon there. He's returned when Nathan is finished.
Nathan buys a thin, supple vine for 0$ that will work on the necklace.

Heart is trading Pokemon for goods. In his battle, he gained 11XP to divide among his Pokemon, and 5XP for himself.
The traders agree to your deal instantly. When you pass the Pokeballs over, they grin widely, and Heart realizes they consider themselves to have gotten the better end of that deal.
"We have the following sacred instruments. This wooden whistle, I will let you have for free. It has only three notes in a chord - bwee, Bwee, BWEEE! It is carved from the Taurrush Reed, a plant which tells you water is good to drink."
They have another Shamisen, like Ventus'. Being younger and less carved, it is only worth $1500. It comes with a little shoulderblade which you can use as a pick.
"This is a thumb harp, carved from a Cocoran shell. It is one of the easiest instruments to play, though the music is very lovely." $100 worth of goods.
"We can craft a brass drum for you if you can wait a day. These are the most powerful instruments." $500.
"We have this traditional native Mamo flute, painted in hundreds of bright colors over many centuries. It is very very old, older than this village. Its value is beyond price."
"My pride and joy is this didgeridoo! Hear its low melancholy sound! $800. This was my grandfather's."
"Anything else you want, we may be able to craft for you."

If Ventus wasn't good at maintaining a serene expression and good composure, he would have a distinct look of confusion about on his face as he tried to dechiper what in Reshirim's name this fellow was saying. This would be on top of a somewhat worried look as the quad armed body builder roughed up his brother, but that is neither here or their now. "Lucifer, continue to buffet them with Gust after Gust! This gentleman has shown that his Pokémon are certainly no sloach in combat, so I advice you to finish of their prized fighter quicky, my brother!"
Order: Gust thrice per round on them. Also, if Mack heals his Machamp with a Potion, then Ventus will respond in kind by healing Lucifer, before having them continue to attack. Have to keep the field stack in the bat's favor, after all!
Moves:
Gust
Accuracy: DEX (*4) + Fight (3) + Channel (3) - 2 Pain - 3/4/5 Actions = 5/4/3D6 Dice
Damage: Known
Effect: N/A

Shiva talks to the merchants.
"The Deyo flowers grow all over Creshire. The most dense concentration of 'em is in Elanor. They only grow where meteors have landed, you see. The seeds of the Deyo siphon some of the exotic minerals from the meteor. That's what gives them this beautiful shimmering holographic color. A flower for my lady?"
He offers Shiva an intact Deyo flower, pulled from under the table.
"Why would someone avoid such a lovely, useful, and exotic flower? They cease to bloom when Autumn arrives."

"Bingle, get outta there, Mack! Lil' muddy, rock up!"
Mack laughs and spins his hat on his finger.
"Now that's a yewie, Mack! Your mozzie will have to whip against th' rocky fossil for a spell!"
Mack swaps out Machamp for a scuttling Kabuto!
New orders?

Nathan gets to work tying that vine into a good knot (plenty of experience with doing that already). He wondered if Tandorian natives do stuff like this, including shaping the actual clay...
Once finished, he takes another picture of it, then puts it on...
How apt...the Yin pokemon, the protector...negativity, night, darkness, cold, wet, yielding, diffuse, the moon, water, the earth...a lot of what Mutios represents, Nathan has been going through lately...
...there's other aspects that aren't so fitting, of course...slow, feminine, passive (to a degree)...but Nathan's finding a strange resonance with this symbol Toxicroak gifted him...
...when Calam returns, it's yet another welcome distraction from what's been bothering him recently...
"Well, I bet this is a nice change from the usual reactions, isn't it? Enjoying getting to walk around freely?"
(Kinda waiting to see what Heart does next before I commit to deciding what Nathan's next encounter is, so I guess let's have a quick interaction with Calam in the meantime.)

New orders?
When Mack decided to bring out a Kabuto of all Pokémon to fight his little devil - 'How in Turboblazes did this hiker manage to get ahold of a Dome Fossil? Or did he manage to stumble upon a colony of them somewhere? Those are supposed to be quite rare, if I'm not mistaken....- , Ventus immediately applied a Potion to Lucifer's wounds (Earning him a thankful screech from him) , and he promptly order them to: "Change of plans, Lucifer: Lay into Kabuto's thick shell with multiple Iron Tails, and see if you can't get a few Bites in too! If it targets you with a Rock type attack, endure it and push through the pain to strike true!"
Order: If Kabuto is coming out, then Lucifer's getting Potioned pronto, and then will use Iron Tail 2 times per round on the revived? Fossil, followed by a Bite. Hopefully that Defense or Flitch chance will proc!!
Moves:
Iron Tail
Accuracy: DEX (*4) + Fight (3) + Brawl (3) - 3 Accuracy - 3/4 Actions = 4/3D6 Dice
Damage: STR (3) + 4 = 7D6 Base Dice
Effect: 3D6 Chance to decrease Defense
Bite
Accuracy: 10D6* - 5 Actions = 5D6 Dice
Damage: 5D6 Base
Effect: Known
