What can I say, but that one of his qualities is being a curious person, with said interest ranging from mild to severe depending on the topic at hand. How could he resist the opportunity to experience what caused him to Faint in a controlled environment? That, and he trusts that whatever you are going to do will not be THAT disasterous....

On another subject entirely, @Dragonstrike , why hasn't Nathan started his day yet? I'd figured you'd get an encounter done while Phantom and I FINALLY get start on making Ventus and Shiva boyfriend and girlfriend! How would Nathan react to THAT bit of news, I wonder....

Nathan hasn't 'started' his day yet because he's technically not awake yet.  I've been waiting on Phantom to finish this little scene since she said she didn't want to flashback to it.

That's not really a flashback. We don't keep time so strictly in this game.

If Nathan's first task is to interact with Shiva, that might be different.

I'm well aware of that, Iron! But before everyone dies because the vines take over the region (not really), might as well get that done. Wasn't planning this at all, it just came to my mind and I followed that idea.

I find it interesting that Shiva sees this whole thing about the ritual for the sake of the journey to the beginning of the land/ends of the earth not as a 'burden' or such, like Nathan does. Yes, they have their differences and she doesn't has familiy involved there, but let's not forget how she has a more adult mind/control over herself and would probably not break under the pressure if she had but concentrate how to make progress with the others after an initiate shock over how things have gone dire has somewhat faded. More so, she sees this as a thing she can not only directly contribute (yay!), but also somewhat grow as a person. Hopefully. Maybe.

About how I said I don't want to flashback this, I meant that wouldn't enjoy rp'ing that scene while simultaneously fighting a battle or speak with an NPC/other PC. Would make this hard to read and possibly ruin the fun.

Well, I need and want to tell him (Nathan) about please meeting up with her and the others at the bonfire when dusk is falling to see if Kirlia can't luckychant to the ritus, but he could/can wait at the Lobby for me doing his stuff or talking with Valder/Heart.
