I just thought of something that might matter a tiny bit: We didn't account for Kirlia's Trace again (doh...). If Kirlia traced Sand Veil from either Gliscor or Gible, then Kirlia would have been immune to Sandstorm damage due to his ability (the only weather reliant ability that doesn't grant an immunity to its weather's damage as of gen 7 is Slush Rush, weirdly enough...), and he'd have 5/7 HP instead of 4/7.

Of course, if he got Hyper Cutter, Snow Cloak, or Battle Armor/Swift Swim instead, then nothing changes :/

I was thinking awhile ago whether or not Trace would be remembered and accounted for the next time it was employ, so I guess that answers my question, eh? Wish we could remember this more often so that Trace can be used to its full effect, you know....

Well, there's not been too many situations where it's REALLY mattered so far, unfortunately (it is an incredibly niche ability due to its randomness, after all).  Water Absorb was probably where it's mattered the most so far.  Thinking about it, though, it might have also traced Serene Grace waaaaayyyy back in that first battle with Ventus...and it would have also Traced Calam's Super Luck...think we forgot it then, too...Sturdy was a nice security in the Ligno battle though if I'd decided to stick around, I guess...

Of course, in a scenario where we might not be resting for the night, every HP point counts, so this one does kinda matter too...

And the best part?  All of this is probably going to be rendered moot the moment Kirlia evolves into Gallade., since Trace isn't even an option on it normally.  Though Steadfast and Inner Focus are probably going to remain just as forgotten (though very welcome if flinch based stuff ever does come up)...Justified would be cool to have for thematic reasons, though.  Free +1 attack while facing any member of Almanac/any wrong-doer, anyone?

It might be niche (most abilities are though, tbh), but pokemon with Serene Grace usually get some constant benefit from it since they will usually know moves affected by the ability (poor Blissey needs TMs for that, though... ) Trace...not always consistently useful since it's dependent on what your opponent has, sadly.

If that were the case, it'd be ALMOST as good as Download.  Almost.  Download's still better though, no question.  As Iron said way back when, "Porygon is a beast."  (ironically, minus Duplicat, we currently have every Trace user in the game available to us at one point or another.  Nathan has the Porygon and Ralts lines, which naturally have it.  Shiva has Helios, who would get Trace if he went Mega, and Comite, which has it as a potential HA)

Nothing like a good ol' +1 to a stat to make something feel so much stronger than everything else, right?  Now, let's stack Justified with Gallade going Mega and becoming immune to Flinching...now he's at +2 Str, +1 Dex, Def, and Ins...before he even uses Calm Mind/Swords Dance.  Fun!

Oh, and Justified would also buff Stored Power's effectiveness too, so...even more fun! (kinda doubt the Mega buff would count for Stored Power, though. Would probably be a little silly even though it could technically fulfill the criteria listed in the book)

Owten line have Serene Grace too and different from Blissey, he have by himself some cool moves to have combo with Serene Grace: Ominus Wind, Zen Headbutt, Confusion, Air Slash, Sky Attack, along with others. If he at least have some decent HP and Sp. Attack it would be awesome...

Well, base HP would probably be 4 or 5.  Not terrible, not amazing, just kinda standard.  And since its Strength would be based on your stats alone, well, that's not really a big concern in this campaign nor the Celadon one if one ever shows up in either.

Pokerole would be a great place for Owten to show off what it can do!
