Shiva has the most small unevolved Pokemon of the group, even after Azurill evolved and still when Kyuu becomes as sweet Meowstic before Little Cup occurs. I checked and counted lately. Some of them are her main battlers and should not be underrated.

Well, Shiva's in a similar boat pokemon wise, and Nathan has several unevolved pokemon himself.  The biggest difficulty with fighting Nathan is overcoming him when he gains an advantage, since he has such a big initiative bonus and such large dice pools.  Nathan was just in a...rather moody state back in Arrowroot, so he wasn't really holding anything back at all.  He had his roughest, toughest pokemon on hand at the time, and it showed!  Aside from Calam and Solomon, they weren't using any attacks with more than 3 power (not including STAB and attribute boosts, but including item boosts).

Nathan's big advantage is the speed and dice pools.  That's all it is at base, to be honest.  Well, that, and spread moves are kinda OP when you're fighting multiple pokemon.

Grid is a terrifying little bugger to fight though, I'll have ya know, despite being the smallest pokemon in existence (tied with Cutiefly, Flabebe, Comefey, and Cosmoem).  Love using the little guy, and I'm excited for when he finally evolves.

That's why everyone else is never ever going to fight you unless we become similarly overpowered, fight dirty and unfunnly as possible to neuter that speed advantage, or Nathan hobbles himself to the point of being reasonable to actually fight without feeling like you are going to get steamrolled at any moment. Fighting you in doubles is not happening with Ventus period until either A) Spread moves are completely barred from play OR ALL Ven's Pokémon gets Spread moves B) No Direct Status Moves whatsoever , C) No boosting moves unless they increase DEX , and D) Nathan is required to not go into super serious mode or Apathetic AT ALL in the fight. Otherwise, no deal mate! Snake bitten is lesson learned!!!

I'll be happy when it evolves too, but that's because Ventus will start suggesting little it go out hunting with him and Apsis personally, and that I just think Taratulas are cute!

Not saying they should be.  Grid's just one example of an unevolved pokemon that is showing just how strong even an unevolved pokemon is.

It was the using of Little Cup Restrictions as well the promise to not use Grid (right, Dragon?~) in the upcoming battle Shiva-Nathan, @Lord Windos, that made me eventually agree to this suggestion in the end after own pondering + hesitation and Shiva's initiate feeling to slap Nathan with a book shall he ever bring up the idea of a battle towards her... (Sorry, this just felt so in-chara that it had to come from her)

If this ends bad in any way, she'll never battle him again, doesn't matter how much he asks for it.

No need to sound so aggressive about it.  You've made these points before.

Hey, he's learning.  Don't be so hard on him about it, please.  The battle back in Ginger Town, while...controversial, was somewhat balanced.  Nathan was really struggling to pull that win out of the bag, even though he could use Thunder Wave and boosting is...probably a poor idea outside of a single battle.

I think tarantulas are kinda cute too There's a reason Galvantula is my favorite pokemon from gen 5.

Sorry about that....its just that when the topic of Nathan Pvping others, it makes me freak out a bit.....

It was balanced, yes, but it end up being not that....well, fun for everyone in and out of game, and that is all I'll say on the matter.

I actually didn't mean who wins or looses in the end when I said that, but rather how Shiva clearly said she desires for this to be a friendly and enjoyable battle. Depends on Nathan whether it'll be one, more than on her actually.

'If this ends bad' includes him fainting after/during battle, as I feel Nathan has enough will to prevent this and Shiva has meanwhile developed enough shy but desired self-confidence to not overly care for history repeating itself. Plus, Heart said he'll make dinner!~

I actually own a tarantula in a terrarium. She says hi, as she's currently lurking for prey. (Which she does not get today though)
