Well in fact I was expecting some reaction of Iron in control Jamison and everything but since he is offline I think I go ahead in my post them.

...you guys HAVE noticed how Nathan's been acting since the Tusk, right? His self confidence is shot. He's not trying to act like a leader or anything like that. Aside from meeting Dagny ASAP upon returning to Stair, but that was to be expected, really, as Dagny's not someone you keep waiting without good reason.

That's my last little bit in response. That's all. On to the dinner! ...where Nathan's going to be rather uncomfortable still, but ah well...

How would Nathan react to the full news that Ventus ripped off a chunk of his soul (About half, really!) and gave it to Litwick to nom on? He seemed a little out of it when it was lightly explained to him.

Oh, that WAS his reaction.  He had just enough info there to figure out the basics.

Like I said, his self confidence is SHOT.  In shreds.  It's repairing, but...well, you've seen the effects so far.  He flinched in front of Shiva.  Was incredibly nervous about Ventus being around Orthros (who he needs to keep around so he doesn't fall apart completely since Kirlia's still napping.  It's doctor's orders.  Seriously.  He needs to have a pokemon he completely trusts around him at ALL times when he gets like this).  Doesn't want to be around Heart at ALL if he's just going to be subject to more aggression/scolding.

In short, he's basically reverted back to what he was like when he was being bullied and teased on a regular basis: incredibly timid.

I'm there to somewhat try rescuing things or at least prevent things from spiraling down any further, but we're letting Nathan have his space for now. Honestly, I'm not too happy that history somewhat repeated itself and this is the second dinner that isn't going as well as both me and Shiva hoped, the next time she might ponder about either directly asking Nathan whether he REALLY wants to sit there at the table with 'em all and how it could be a better idea to get his portion and then leave (that's not polite, true - but it's better for everyone and especially for Nathan's confidence) or just screwing it and not attend herself.

No one expects the snek! Plus, I thought Nathan could use the friendly?/attentive company, and Apsis actually kinda likes the boy and his attitude, so she WOULD be at least somewhat curious why he was acting so....not himself, so I arranged for this to happen. Maybe with her paying Nathan a visit will get the others to do the same. Anyway, Enjoy!
