Eventually, the poisonous cobra made her way to where the group was currently eating dinner, and almost immediately picked up that A) That the funny man was serving some colorful/hot thing that smell really good, and B) Nathan was currently all by himself, looking lonely, sad, and glum. While she was a tad peckish , the giant snake a more concerned for the normally headstrong boy, and decided to slither over to his side, and gave him a nudge followed by a curious look + *Hiiiiiissss?*, completely ignoring everyone else and Orthros . Right now, Apsis didn't really care to acknowledge the other people's/Pokémon's presence , as the young boy acting quite strange and very sad was THAT much of an oddity in her eyes.

Huh. That was.....oddly considerate of her. Hmm.....

That startles Nathan.  And Forthright especially, since she's not familiar with the giant snake pokemon yet.  Eep!  It's big and scary!  Orthros hides behind Nathan as well.  Nope, he doesn't want anything to do with that snake if she's going to sneak up on them like that!  Nope nope nope!

Nathan has to take a few minutes to try and calm Forthright down when it's finally obvious to him that Aspis is trying to be friendly...as weird as that is to say.  Orthros also...very slowly and reluctantly peeks out from behind Nathan.  The snake...wasn't attacking or anything?

"...hi Aspis...here for the food?  Must be the meat in it you smelled, right?  I'm...not too big on it myself, but...some meat every once in awhile is okay, I guess...here...I'm...not super hungry, so you can have some of mine if ya like..."

Nathan sets aside about half of his portion for her if she wants it.  Hmmm....

Nathan can tell that Apsis has been trying to find a friend herself. Somehow they never seem to work out: Oversized Poliwhirl, Swiftfire, and more. She's changed a lot since being an Ekans in a Noob Zone.

Her friend has to be someone who is not prey in her eyes: someone strong, and not afraid of her, but not someone cold.

Jamison gets on his bike as Heart tells the story of their battle. He rides around the room, helping Heart re-enact it, and of course embellishing it so that the battle was even closer than it really was.

Shiva somewhat froze mid-movement as that cobra came into the room they were currently enjoying not-so-enjoyable dinner (I don't mean the food), and rather quickly she 1. noticed that this could actually ONLY be Apsis, quickly followed by the mindblowing question HOW in Reshiram's name she has actually made her way up here. H-has she not locked the door properly? Has she lost they keys to dorm? WHAT is actually going on here? She will probably punch Ven on the next opportunity for startling her like this. For now, Shiva picked Cottonee up to hold onto her in her arms to comfort herself and somewhat ease her fear for both herself and her fluffball.

2. She was wondering what has drawn that regal snake to Nathan, but...actually she kinda appreciated since it killed two birds with the same stone, the snake's not coming near her and Nathan has some more company. Back to...eating, acting like she is doing fine.

Heart almost startle with sudden appearance of the Arbok but he soon calm down and say. "Apsis, dont scare us like that! I almost say to Koa Slash you! Anyway, Jamison dont worry, its only Apsis the Arbok of our Researcher Ventus who is a friendly of ours. I dont have any idea how Apsis got out of the pokeball..." Heart still dont invade the personal space of Nathan. He still someway mad with Nathan, but he did want to try talk with Nathan. But he remember all the ways he try to talk with him failed miserable. And he remember Ventus try to talk with him too and failed too. What possible chance Heart have to make the boy better who even Ventus could not?

Heart still hold a bit of grudges with Nathan. He will not bother him or scoiled him but he stills stay in his place in the tabble. He leaves the Nathan and wait him to feel a little comfortable to join or not.

Besides, Heart was the second person who opened up not participating in Little Cup due to feeling like the rules are limiting him... Shiva somewhat struggled to understand why they felt like that, she tried to reason that with them being much more like battlers than she was, as well as her being used to raise or help raising young and unevolved Pokemon from home in contrast to those two.

The giant snake hardly reacts to either Forthright or Orthros panic over her steathly approach, besides shooting them neutral looks that showed she was aware of them, but didn't consider them worthy of her full undivided focus, unlike Nathan. They posed no threat to her or were being annoying, so they could do whatever they wanted for all she cared at the moment. If that dangerous dog tried anything devious, though, she'd give it a right nasty Glare that would perfectly convey to it: 'I've fought and eaten your kind before. Back off.' Hopefully that would be warning enough, but if not......ruh rough!

Apsis tilted her head as the boy offered some of his meal to her, before they (for the moment) ignored it completely and lightly bumped their head into their chest, and then looked them in the eyes. While Kirlia wasn't around to play interpretor, it should be clear to Nathan that she was more concerned/attentive to him right now, rather than the food itself (though that was certainly of interest to her as well , *Hiiss!*).

"I doubt that my friend. To Ventus, Apsis is like family. He would never sell her. I think he even punch you if you even say that in his face, heh." Say Heart eating his food. "I a great fan Poison-types too. Caesar, my Nidorino is a bit pride of him, but he is a strong pokemon. But a bit disobedient. If you want we could battle with me use him. But Steel and Dragons is my favourite ones too, thats why I train so much Percival and Koa." Heart says when he scratch Nidorino head a bit. "Some of my Pokemons I conqueror not with battle, but be friendly with them. Caesar here almost poison me when I befriendly with him. And Tynamo use some eletric attacks until finally join with me. Battle its the only way to a pokemon join with you. Shiva here is a great trainer since she can friendly with many pokemon. Thats why I call my aproach as: "Shiva Style". She is awesome, along with Ventus. And Nathan too. I feel I grown much since I join them."

Aspis ignoring food when she's not eaten much in almost a week?

...this is weird...and Nathan obviously isn't winning any staring contests right now, based on how much he's blinking in surprise.

Is she really trying to be friendly just for the sake of it?

Oh right, that Nidorino of Heart was not helping Shiva feeling any better. What if...he'll become a Nidoking at some point? None's safe. She's not safe. She only had Cottonee at her person at the moment as she left all the rest of her party there at dorm enjoying dinner and dorm (assume that they left Apsis alone) which made her feel double-vulnerable in some way, but since she absolutely didn't wanted to make a scene - dinner table was still not the right place for that - she tried to keep all her fear and worry and nervosity tightly locked up within herself, the next time she will think twice about accepting Heart's offer for sharing dinner.

That praise and flattery from him somewhat eased her senses and nervosity to some small degree. The taste was sugary. "Th....Thanks, Heart." Nope, she won't allow her voice to shiver, there was barely a chance to escape now. It'd be rude, on top of that. "Thinking of...sugar, have you prepared dessert as well? If not, I'll be...leaving soon, as I'll be starting...work at the Shelter tomorrow and have to get up...early...Hehe." Damn you, nervosity. Damn you, desire to flee and hide.
