[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
(01-16-2018, 03:00 PM)Iron Wrote: If you are simply bringing the Unown directly to the Ruins, it would not have to be registered in your name. If you traveled with it first, it would be, and you'd have to pay the fee.

That is exactly what I've been thinking about - not directly adopting the exclamation mark Unown, but having Shiva taking it with her when the group will venture down the Ruins one day or the other, to see if it desires to stay there among the other feral Unown. If so, it can stay there, makes both Shiva and Unown happy. If it does NOT desire to stay, then... well, then I have to think again.

Yeah, the lore of Ultra Space is...kinda weird.  In a really interesting way.

Crazy dangerous though, when you have city destroying beasts like Guzzlord roaming around in a world void of all natural light.  *shudder*

And for the record, Nathan doesn't know much of anything about Ultra Beasts and the lore behind them (International Police covered the incidents up REALLY well).

...yet.

Speaking of Ultra Space and beasts , would Ventus know ANYTHING about them / those incidents , due to his various connections both legal and not ? Just curious if ' s keeping a read on the pulse of Alola , is all.

I'm not going to use them in this campaign, so let's just say no?

I appreciate that actually, as I'd prefer them running wild in Alola but not in Chresire! We're busy enough.

Also for reference, the events of the gen 7 games have only recently occurred (as in, less than a year before the campaign started at most), and I was primarily going off of the events of the original Sun/Moon when looking at what Nathan knows of what happened there.

International Police and Elio (with Solgaleo and Tapu Koko) were able to solve the problem of the rampaging UBs very quickly (and in some rather remote locations), all things considered, and the business with Nihilego and Lusamine was mostly a personal problem for Lillie and her friends instead of a region wide threat, so the coverup was super effective.

Nathan knows that something is being hidden, but not what, since the wormholes that popped into existence couldn't be covered up easily, unlike the UBs themselves.

Lillie and Lusamine have only been in Kanto a short time for unknown reasons to Nathan (he does know they've been trying to get Bill's help with something, though), and Gladion is currently heading the Aether Foundation in Lusamine's place.

As for Necrozma...well, Ultra Sun and Moon take place in different reality from the original entirely, so...yeah.

Timey wimey stuff is weird.

But yeah, shouldn't be anything that pops up in this campaign in great detail (minus whatever Almanac's done to get the rights to both altering the Aether Foundation's Beast Balls and selling them commercially...).  Nathan doesn't know a whole lot because it's so recent, and he's not had a lot of time to REALLY dig into whatever sources he can find to pinpoint exactly what happened.
