Don't take this the wrong way, guys, but I find it sort of grimly and morbidly amusing that Nathan has become the Pariah of the group, a position that was formerly and solidly held by Ventus due to his dubious morality, intrusive pariona and phobias, and not very friendly approach to threats if unrestrained by others. I'm still scratching my head as to exactly HOW and when this paradigm shift occurred, since this seemed to have been a gradual process to my knowledge..... Honestly, it rather baffling, really.

It was gradual.  Nobody really built him up and helped him support the already shaky foundations he had at the start, so he just kinda fell down.

It started becoming more apparent after Corsage, and it's only gotten worse since.

Ah. Well, in the beginning Ventus vastly overestimated Nathan's own maturity/emotional stability and tried to be non-intrusive towards their issues after the first few times he was lashed out at for being overly nosey/worrying, so in retrospect I can see that Ven didn't really help all that much in building them up. Add in the constant arguments and conflicts the two have been embroiled in since the very start of the campaign, and that has only magnified the issues, hasn't it? I'm at least glad that conflict over the Daycare Secret is more or less over, and everyone has more or less adopted the mindset of 'live and let live' unless someone pisses on their cornflakes, or something.

Ventus has turned out to be good company to be around at least if you'd ask Shiva, she certainly enjoyed and keeps enjoying how he can be caring and sweet when he wants to be. Like, right there on Route 1 he let her join on his research Encounter for that Poliwag without hesitation and even exlained things to her, thankfulness and accepting help when she brings it up certainly play a role as well why eventually she went after Ventus instead of staying there with Nathan and Vincent by the Deyo Flowers - ahh, that was a nice scene. <3

I've already said that Nathan's not trying to fix anything because there's nothing he and I think need to be fixed from his end.  If Nathan thinks he's screwed up something badly, he does his best to fix it.

This isn't one of those times.

He doesn't consider Nathan a friend, but if he didn't say/imply so while Ao Guang was hanging around, the Sealord might have been more inclined to take an more.....beligerant stance towards them. Ven's trying to get to the bottom of Nathan's terrible mood and make him feel better, not sick his Kingdra on him and Kirlia (Which would end poorly for them, since Swift Swim + Rain Boost = Water STABs for days!) !

Problem is, everyone else in the group DOES think he's caused problems and just refusing to address them or ignoring them outright, or simply find his typical personality/attitude to be far to grating to put up with at times. Since neither side isn't going to budge on their view of this matter, this is just going to be more perpetual friction between group members until SOMETHING happens to change it for the better or worse...

Ohhhhh.... That makes sense, I see. Thanks for clearing! Since you hinted being busy for the in-game Day and Shiva will head to the Shelter + Little Cup + hopefully THIS in-game night search for that feral Umbreon and Eevee in Stair City, I guess she will meet Ao Guang to some later point?
