(That small conversation that ended up with shrines and Cleanse Tags actually takes place a little aside from Dagny/Heart/Ventus @Spiritmon, but as you probably wanted to bring this up to Shiva anyway at some point and I'm too lazy to edit or argue, I'll just let it happen now.)


Such polite requests certainly reach Shiva, so she avertes her concentration from Nathan, she doesn't desire to see him for now.

Em-Ri-Ti, a quiet shrine to Mesprit near Wineberry Town.
Em-Ri-Koko, a mobile shrine on a ship, often docked in Corsage Port. Represents Tapu Koko's influence.
Da-Ra-eki, a buried shrine to (ward off) Darkrai
Kree-mor-kresh, shrine to Cresselia, buried within the Skull Ruins but still detectable by sensitive Pkmn. Legend tells of a secret path connecting Cress City to this shrine.
Kree-ra-eki, shrine to hail Cresselia, on Garlicburg.
Gi-Go-Ti, a shrine to Giratina but now sunken beneath the sea in southern Creshire somewhere.
Na-in-ri, a shrine to Landorus at the far western end of the Great Divide.
Ra-ki-ki, shrine to Regigigas, on a distant eponymous island not visible from Creshire's coast.
Ra-ki-ra, Regirock, thought to be hidden somewhere in the capital cities region.
Ra-in-ki, Regice, on the unnamed peak directly opposite Mt Sentry in the Great Divide.
Ra-ki-ti, Registeel, found in excavating Stair City and now placed within Dagny's Gym.
Piripono, Shrine of Loyalty, Hog Potato Swamp. It is a carved Vulpix on a leash. It represents the blossoming of new loyalty, from devotion or love to a newfound friend.
Tangiwhannauo, Shrine of Care, Safari Zone. A living sod sculpture of Gardevoir facing down a Gothitelle. It represents care in times of greatest emotional turmoil, such as loss of a loved one.
The shrines of Uxie and Azelf has been destroyed, the first during a rebellion against the King and the other by a storm near Lake Chicory.
Tawniwhawha, the shrine of Protection. Made of tiles with Ghost Pkmn engraved on them, supposedly trapped inside. Found in Cress City's public square.
Nywhi, shrine of Friendship, a modern shrine built on the site of an old one. Shows a hologram of Sylveon.

(Given the sheer depth of conversation that you guys have gotten up to while I've been AFK, I'll just have Ventus being silent and tense as her listened into that conversation. He's certainly has a lot more questions for Nathan now....)

The occasionally erstwhile Pokémon Researcher almost frowned at the palatable exhaustion , anxiety , lethargency , and worry that pervaded his most blessed friend's moodiness, as she sullenly tried to escape his wake up call and burrow deeply into the covers. Fortunately, before Ventus could do anything to possibly correct this, Shiva's Marill had awoken herself with positively infectious joy and enthusiasm, and decided that it must be spread to everyone around her! He had to stifle a giggle at the scene (so as not to possible offend or hurt his currently fragile minded crush.....), and simply smiled/waved to her as she successfully managed to drive out the mystical lass out of the covers and towards the window and her 'sleeping' Vaporeon.

Given his keen senses and empathy, he both knew that she was awake and made off with some of their' master's breakfast, but the sociologist didn't mind that at all, since he'd brought plenty of food for Shiva and her Pokémon to eat if their were anything leftover. The water nymph fox simply decided she didn't want to wait, that is all! However, despite the sheer excitement and happiness her aquatic Pokémon were showering her with, its appeared that her morose attitude was going to be lingering for quite some time. They knew that victim of traumatic events needed a great amount of time and caring/loving support to see a full recovery, and that she in particular wrestled with worrying and/or odd emotional and psycholgocial issues that left her especially vulnerable to such things........

......but that didn't stop him from feeling deeply worried and sorrowful about her condition, nor hardly quell the seething, cold rage at the Scimitars that did this to her. 'If any of those blasphemous users of magic dare try to enact their fiendish designs on her again.......I'll make them know why I was known as 'The Inquisitor' of Team Plasma......' he ruefully thought, before banishing it from his mind as he put on his most warm and comforting smile possible and approached Shiva, who was quick to turn to greet him with her own dim one. After quickly finishing breakfast (Her lack of appetite another concealed worry added to the empath mind), she inquired in an almost hollow sounding tone of voice what were his day plans were, and he had to fight the urge to grimance/turn his smiling worrying as he made a show of thinking it over, before calmly respondly.

"Of course I'll accompany you to the Shelter for the day, dear. I was planning on continuing volunteering their while also discussing with Director North about what I can do to help while out on the road, but with.......recent events, I think its prudent we stick closely together as possible for the time being. Hmm many types of o shrines...He keep a few minutes reading each type of shrine and his descriptions. He was thinking to take the one for Landorus, Cresselia, Piripono or Nywhi...But them he see the Tangiwhannauo. He couldnt hide his emotions about the description emotional turmoil. He feel regret and perhaps...Shame? Heart did his best to in vain hide that memory. It will be have time to tell the truth. But not now. "I think I take the Tangiwhannauo Shrine Shiva, the shrine of care. Sometimes I feel my emotions in turmoil so that Shrine fit me with my personality I guess since I honest with emotions."

Your condition on Protect doesn't quite work. Protect has priority and it's not an evasion, so it gets used before you know what move the enemy is going to use. (Just like in the handheld games). But you can say something like "If Heart thinks Gargryph will use Earthquake, Perceval will use Protect" and I can give you either an Insight roll, or see if there might be some other hint.

You can also say "If Gargryph uses Earthquake and it seems like he'll use it again, then Perceval will use Protect." I'll apply that interpretation for now.

The sudden but not quite inexplicit and mildy embarrassed bashfulness had a mixed reactions of sorts with Ventus. On one hand, he was quite startled by this flare of uneasy emotional response from his dearest friend, and was wondering/worried about what he just said that provoked it, and if it could pose any additional problems for her. On the other one, however, he couldn't deny his amusement at seeing her become so very, very flustered by such simple words, and it clearly showed him that her near abduction at the hands of those fiends had not rendered her totally shocked and/or tormented. Their was also the re-emergence of that curious and strange twin tailed thought/emotional pattern he found so baffling about her; he honestly needed to ask about that at some point, but now is not the time for that line of discussion....

Her next timid response, though, caused Ven to freeze. His eyes were widened, his eyebrows were raised in shock, and an unreadable yet still....worried frown appeared on his face soon after. Silence stretched on between him and her for a few minutes, before he finally dean to respond in an calm....hesitate tone of voice.

"........It is. Perhaps its not a concern for you, but.......I am worried about this, among other things. I'm older than you, and with that age gap comes expectations that could lead to.......unfortunate consequences, with the public and your family's reactions being my chief concerns. To my knowledge, you also haven't been engaged in other romantic relationships, while I am......knowledgable in that field, to be succient. That adds more wrinkles into this, as combined with my....life experiences it stand to reason that I have a greater chance of hurting you with any advances, or that I could invariably take advantage of you even on complete accident. Such things have happened before, to my deep sorrow.... I also do not wish to burden you with the ornerous task of being my......partner, as I am a very flawed man despite my usual demeanor. You already are aware of some of what I'm alluding to, but their are......other parts of my life.......that are unsavory too, and I don't want you to suffer those moments too......or think less of me. A heavy sigh escaped the empath as he said this, chock full of bitterness and a bone aching weariness that was distinctly uncharacteristic of the normally kind hearted and generals man.

If such an occurence came to pass.....I honestly can't imagine the full ramifications....though I don't long for the answer to that quandary regardless."

More Silence as he stops talking, letting his most blessed friend react to what basically amounted to gently refusing her advances with 'Its not you, its me' argument. Wonder how that will go down with her.....

(Remember, Ven's deeply insecure about himself as a romantic partner for Shiva, due to how fucked up he and his entire life is, so him turning her down right now is not outside the realms of reasoning....)
