[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole

Nathan quickly and quietly shuts his journal as soon as Ventus gets close.  Nope, no peeking!  For someone paying no attention to anyone else, Nathan's surprisingly alert if it concerns his journal.

"...*sniff*...guess so...still gotta get things done, though...and Forthright seems to be enjoying it too, so...Starmie will probably enjoy it too..."

Kirlia hands Nathan another tissue.  Shakes his head in a rather worried fashion.  He can't seem to dissuade Nathan from taking it easy today...this cold is worse than he's letting on.  

Kirlia looks at Ventus and Shiva, silently asking for their help.

The sociologist raises as eyebrow at the boy's prompt reaction to his snooping, considering he detected they were quite absorbed in reading whatever it was in their journal, before brushing it off and shared Kirlia's look when he sensed their plea for help. Looking at the slightly miserable condition Nathan was in, it didn't take a PhD in Sociology to connect the dots and figure out WHAT the psychic wanted assistance with, and so lightly but firmly gripped the young scholar's shoulder and gave him an admonishing look.

"Nathan Warren, you bear a striking resemblance to a runny nose Rufflet , and I can feel how lethargic and dismal this weather has made you, so I believe that you are far from ready to engage in any strenuous activity for the day. Unless you desire to worry Kirlia even more over your wellbeing as you struggle against your cold, instead of tending to it with all the necessary care?"

Shiva would subtly be rather happy if one time, it'd be Nathan who would take the initiative to greet them. But the more days came and passed, the more she felt like she'd have to put that thought into the category 'wishful thinking'.

Eh, before she'd come to him though, she stops by at the PC in Lobby, Marill held close with one arm and Vaporeon lazily trotting beside her. Both Water Pokemon were wearing their respective flowercrown (whoops, they actually do that the whole time), which gave some sort of color- and playful touch to them + Master. Marill got placed on top of the monitor by Shiva, while Vaporen eyed her Master curiously. Now then, where did Shiva put it away... *rummaging sounds in bagpack with one hand* ....Ah, here! "A-Alright, Marill, I have...well, a suprise for you... Look at this disk, it has quite a nice shade of blue, has it? This disk is a TM, and it contains a move that allows you to cast icy cold beams at your foe. To freeze dragons until you are able to face them with your fae nature... And I'd like to teach this to you. I'll place you on Bill's PC, insert the disk to the running gear of the PC and technology does the rest... I'll pick you up a few minutes later, then we can head outside. Does that sound agreeable for you, dear one? Oh, yes, there you have it Vaporeon." Turned out the waterly Eeveelution was RATHER curious about that blue disk and DEMANDED to sniff on it - weird stuff Master had there. She'll also remain at the PC while Shiva is busy with Nathan, starring at the screen with a tilted head.



As for Nathan...

Naturally that Shiva has picked up he has caught a cold. It was already obvious to her yesterday. Yesterday...Ah, she doesn't want to think of that run-in yesterday, she's not in a mood to discuss; and won't be for a time being.

Not saying a word about it, she drew a whole package of these tissues emprinted with Whimsicotts casting mischievous smiles on a background full of green leaves, then hands it to Kirlia, motioning that they can keep this package. "My, maybe you shouldn't have stayed out in the rain yesterday. Sorry that I'm only having one umbrella though... But there's a good pharmacy here in Stair City, two actually. One smaller one called 'Miasmedic Pharmacy' if I remember correctly, and a bigger one that probably has its own lab. They're only two streets away from the GPC, subway No.11 has a way station very close to both."

Why Shiva was at a pharmacy and how she know even knows that, she didn't share though.

Kirlia thankfully accepts the box of tissues.  He was definitely going to need them...

"...but...but the rain...it might not be there tomorrow...and it's the perfect opportunity to get Starmie warmed up...and it's the first time it's rained since I met it...and Forthright can get to play some more in it, and...and...a...*ACHOO*!"

Hmmm...yup, definitly more concerned about his pokemon than himself.  If it wasn't obvious before, it certainly is now!

Nathan's words only earned him a rather deadpan stare from Shiva. It looked so weird if remembering how sweet she actually can be and how well she can imitate the fluffiest and most innocent Swirlix.

"Nathan, I am not your mother, but that does not prevent me from saying that you shall either go and ask one of the Nurse Joy for suitable rainy-weather-gear if you are adamant about going outside, or head back into your dorm and stay in bed, recovering. It does not help anyone if you train your Pokemon while sneezing once every thirty seconds, face it."

Dice are never rolled for player character reactions unless it is requested by the character in question or something supernatural is occurring.

Flashback!

When Heart enter the lobby he see Shiva, Ventus and...ugh Nathan. He simple wave for them with his hand and say a little good morning. When he do that, Heart decided to go to his room and make the dinner to his pokemon. He DID noticed Nathan sickness, but he decided to not do anything for two reasons:

1 - Ventus and Shiva already that helping Nathan.

2 - And two, because he want to avoid Nathan at all cost.

(If anyone want to discuss something with Heart, thats a good chance. Since I think Ventus want to understand why Heart offendend Kirlia or something)

Shiva waved back to Heart as soon as she noticed him doing that, remaining with Ventus at the table Nathan is residing at. "Good morning there. ......Oh, and please leave that Vaporeon there at the PC alone, that's mine! D: " He's a collector or rare Pokemon after all, and how often do you see an Eeveelution?

(This actually sounds like a good time for a roll.  Nathan's Will (7) versus...maybe Shiva's Insight, Knowledge, and Intimidate?  Maybe add in a buff for Shiva from Ventus's argument as well.)

The character sheets I made have Intimidate under Fight, which would be one less. But in this situation where she knows Nathan well, Knowledge might indeed be better.
