You are actually free to do what you like, Shiva will spend most of her time with Grumpig due to that's her task for today's workshift, she won't be mad or sad if you leave.

And I'm totally looking forward to when Forthright can start manipulating the sun and hail herself and start exploiting them to her benefit while supporting some of Nathan's other pokemon.  Those are going to be fun times.

Nathan's coming to the Shelter straight after the gym battle, and is probably going to be there for a little bit while he's interacting with Pyroar and/or Charmeleon. Maybe Shiva could request Kirlia's help with this Grumpig, since he's a dancer?

That'd be possible - in theory. Practically, Shiva has in-chara no idea that he's there as it hasn't been mentioned towards her at all (Ven brought the idea of joining him to the Shelter there at the Gym entrace, after all).

Plus, I'd actually like to see if Shiva can't solve this issue on her own.

Don't overdo the help please, Shiva is desperate need for some feelings of achievement and heroism in her current state, and she has dealt with Psychic Types a lot.

Welp, one Charmeleon for Nathan as soon as he coughs up the cash! Looking forward to this!

Also, now we have three (unique) Fire type starter pokemon in the party...one water type one as well (two former party members both had an Oshawott each as well, but they're long gone for now)...and one grass, though Chikorita's far from being super usable currently...

Still, looking forward to when we get those Pledge moves, since Iron has something special planned for them! And maybe that will be a good reason to use Chikorita a little, too!
