Nathan and Valder meet everyone else on the path to Mt. Sentry.  The shopping took just a tad longer than expected since Nathan had such a looonnnnggg shopping list...

Mt. Sentry: Xenoblade Chronicles - Tephra Cave

Ventus could help but crack a grin and chuckle at the exburant energy the boy and his empathetic pokemon was extruding as they re-joined the group, finding it a much welcome change from their typical seriousness and/or gloom and doom personality!

"Glad to see you are eager as I to began our explorations! Everyone, ready to move forward and brave the innards of Mt. Sentry?"

Order: Enter Mt. Sentry with the rest of the group at the first opportunity! The first Encounter will most likely be dedicated towards going towards the Location Heart has in mind to evolve Ramiel/Shiva's Magnemite, but if that doesn't take up an Encounter I'll be more than happy about that!

Gotta do some prep work first!

Nathan swaps some pokemon around in his PC.
- Ralts stays (this goes without saying, obviously), Ditto stays, Solomon stays, Swiftfire stays...
- but Grid and Calam are swapped for Yule and Starmie (he makes sure to briefly grab Forthright though to explain that she'll be in the PC for a liiiittttllle longer.  Nathan doesn't want to take her into a proper cave quite yet.  He also grabs Pulse reeeeaaalll quickly to check if those Casteliacones are still there.)

Then, Nathan goes and purchases...

- 2 Paralyz Heals ($400 about time he finally got some more!)
- some pencils and pens
- some paper for writing
- some paper and 'writing' materials for rubbings (to make quick copies of cave etchings should he encounter any)
- a book light he can use to light up his journal or papers or whatever
- a flashlight or headlamp of some kind (Illuminate is good and all, but Nathan only wants to use it if he needs to light up a reeeaaallly large area)
- some material he can use to waterproof his journal and keep it from getting damp
- restocking the cheap foods
- 3 gourmet food ($150.  Just in case)
- a duster
- some other miscellaneous supplies that have to do with various cave things.  This is just some of the stuff I could think of off the top of my head

And I also already know what Nathan and Valders' first stop is in Mt. Sentry, whether the rest of the group is headed that way or not!  That depiction of Landorus and the various other Legends and pokemon!  Nathan's heard about it, but he's incredibly excited to finally see it in person!

Mt. Sentry: Xenoblade Chronicles - Tephra Cave

Shiva does very much understand how SWEET AND JOYFUL the moment a Pokemon Egg finally hatches after all the time carrying it around or keeping it under a heatlamp in a hatchery, so she's totally fine to let him carry his Egg on his own. ""Almost magical, indeed... You never know whether faith has not decided to gift you a shiny or a smilar suprise until it finally hatched, for example."

Him calling her a 'great friend' caused her to coyly return the smile and playfully hit his right shoulder with her fist.

Heart return the smile. "Yeah. Perhaps with luck he will came with a few egg moves who know? And might be Shiny! You never know what might happen."

Timeskip where everyone is in Mt. Sentry...

Heart join together with the others in Mt. Sentry. He take a map he make himself in his bag. "We should be careful though. This place is very huge and have many caverns. Some ancient and some recent. One place we might have the chance to pass by its the Worn Stone. They say generations of trainers pass by there and wish for luck in many future battles. Since our journey might have battles a pass by would might be cool! Also there is some interesting points there:"

 'Crystal Pillar - this pillar is formed from Boldore remains that have been cemented together over time. It spans the Mudroom, floor to ceiling. Striking it with metal causes a beautiful chime to ring out.'


'Worn Stone - Generations of trainer have rubbed this stone for good luck before important battles. It is said the stone used to be rough and mildly painful to rub. Now it is smooth and pleasant.'

'North: Cpt Bridge's Gem Mine, Fallen Arches, The Candelabra, Ruins Paths (Beware of Ghosts)'
'East: Bottomless Pit, Dark Shard, Spherestone'
'South: Botanville Passage, Clay Pits'

There at the path to elusive Mount Sentry, looking so....mighty in front of them, Shiva does almost automatically take Ven's hand into hers.

She's also having tiny Magnemite out of its Pokeball currently, floating beside her and making cute buzzing sound every now and then. Magnetic fields, must see! Though Shiva does cast an almost worried glance over to Gothitelle beside her. "Hey.... Lilith... Please don't wander off from my side while we're within this mountain, alright? I don't want you to get lost... I can recall you into your Ball though, if you like. Just let me know, okay?"

(True, if Shiva would have to look for her Pokemon within the mountain, she'd not be happy. But with 2 Loyalty, I guess she'll stick by Shiva's side, will she, @Iron? Can be simply recalled if she expresses discomfort over travling through a cave.)

Just before entering the mountain, Nathan remembers something.

"Ventus.  One thing I need to tell you before we go in.  Don't.  Harm.  The Furret.  No matter how mischievous and dangerous they get.  It's outright illegal.  Just keep that in mind, and you'll be fine!"

Weirdly, Nathan says all of that with a biiiig smile on his face.  Wow, he's REALLY chipper right now...

Okay. Now thats just creep. Heart is so much acostumed to see Nathan have a neutral mood and see Nathan like that overhappy like he drink too much caffeine...this raise a worry eyebrown from Heart. "Uhh Nathan? Are you...feeling okay man? You look a little...happier today. Is something happen to you feel like that?" Heart make his best to not sound rude or something because of past night. He want to avoid conflict since Nathan its a bit sensitive about some things. Heart want peace and not make a another fight between them and cause suffer to the group. He just tired. Heart just want a peacefull and enjoyment adventure though Mt. Sentry with everyone. And this include Nathan.

Quite the stark contrast to Heart's careful, subdued attitude and what Nathan's been like since...Corsage Port, isn't it?  He didn't even look this excited and upbeat when he beat Zamboni!
