Oh, and what kind of feeling does Shiva actually get from petting her freshly evolved Steel Type, @Iron? More a calculating exemplar to your discretion or a playful one? That'll determine further interactions to some degree and her general attitude towards her Magneton, so I'd be happy to know and add this to charasheet, please!~

Cress City is to the East (as far as the map goes).  Skull Ruins are to the North (Ruins Path and Beware of Ghosts).  Trillium is also to the North.  Botanville is to the South (Botanville Passage).

But aren't we heading North anyway given the perspective from our current spot on the map if we want to reach Cress City?

Blegh.  Screwed up my cardinal directions.  Cress is WEST on the map, not east.

Well, could Heart/Nathan perhaps knows which of those paths will happen to lead the group towards Cress City and tell everyone IC about them, as Ven's a non native that has not researchered a lick about these mountains and was hoping Nathan/Valder/Signposting could have lead/guide the group onwards by now after everyone has finished their small errands....

Then Ventus/Myself elect to go down the Western Tunnels and make headway THAT way, as wandering around a cave for who knows how long is asking for either the Scims to jump us, or some overeager/zealous Pokémon to try their luck to disasterous effect.....

The 'Dark Shard' is East, would like to see that if it can't be the Candelabra... Not up for at least tiny little bit of cave exploring and possibly digging up treasures, Windos?

Depends.  Mt. Sentry is a veritable maze if you stray from the straightforward path that goes from Stair to Cress and vice versa.  There's multiple ways in and out of the mountain, so there COULD be a path to Cress in that direction...but I don't know for sure.

Well, it MIGHT be the Eastern tunnels.  Nathan probably knows which ones head to Cress IC, but I'm just speculating OOC right now, and I certainly don't know 100% which way leads to Cress yet, so take what I'm saying atm with a grain of salt!  Particularly since I mixed up my east/west, port/starboard, left/right a moment ago...

*West. Your party knows the route to Cress City is, as it's well-marked. It'll only take one day. The real question is whether you want to explore.

Me and Shiva certainly do desire to explore a bit. It doesn't happen everyday that you're inside a mountain, especially if you're with someone you trust, Pokemon at your side and origin from a big city...?

If it doesn't take up an Encounter slot of Ven's and splits the group into fragments, he's fine with exploring the caverns with Shiva, acting as silent but good company as he mostly divides his focus between Ramiel and her. Otherwise, I'd rather not dily daly and get the whole party moving towards the next given set of wild Encounters, where their are Pokémon to catch and Items to loot from the surroundings! That, and Cress City has both the next Gym and the next set of clue on the plot thread that is the Secret Library, so me and Ven have good reason to be , *ahem* tunnel visioning towards traveling through here swiftly.
