Yeah, caught that :/

Ah, so these signposts from Heart's trip to the mountain are just the exploration options?  Gotcha.  Hmmm...

The signposts are the stable tunnels that have been explored and "civilized" and contain tourist stuff.

In addition to those options, there is a marked shortcut to Cress City - it's actually a Route, don't have the number in front of me right now.
There's also endless amounts of shifting side tunnels which may lead deeper into the earth or up toward the peak (both good options for Magnezone).

If it doesn't take up an Encounter slot of Ven's and splits the group into fragments, he's fine with exploring the caverns with Shiva, acting as silent but good company as he mostly divides his focus between Ramiel and her. Otherwise, I'd rather not dily daly and get the whole party moving towards the next given set of wild Encounters, where their are Pokémon to catch and Items to loot from the surroundings! That, and Cress City has both the next Gym and the next set of clue on the plot thread that is the Secret Library, so me and Ven have good reason to be , *ahem* tunnel visioning towards traveling through here swiftly.

Ship may also happen at Cress City, so points made, my dear....

Hmm, though I feel  that looting for gems at that Gem Mine AND visiting the Candelabra will take an Encounter, but if paying a short visit to the latter with Ven won't take an Encounter Slot, I'd be more than happy to do that. Though, actually, now to think of it... Wherever wild Furrets have the highest chance to dwell, that is where Shiva would enjoy to go.

Oh, so we're going to call it a proper Route?  Alright, let's see then...that might make it Route...5, I guess?  I wasn't actually counting it as a proper Route before when I called Botanville -> Arrowroot Route 10.  Though I guess Botanville -> Stair could easily be 11...

Been trying to number them based on the order I've been thinking we might be visiting them.

Ven most definitely wants to stay on the well explored paths for now, as the group isn't ready to go plunging into the depths of Mt. Sentry to go rooting around for the Library or other goodies (At least, that is what I think). I also still want to evolve Ramiel in Mt. Molten, since even though its a dangerous place Ven wants the best results possible in evolving his Magenton (he believe in the rumors evolving them in two diff spots is good idea), and high danger = more reward proportional towards it, so going searching for a spot in Mt. Sentry is not on his intenerary!

As for Gem Mining, Lucifer isn't with Ventus and he already has that red gemstone halve, so he's sastified/unconcerned on that front. Exploring the Candleabra is something that appeals to me, though, as it give me pleasant flashbacks to SMT 3 Hard mode..... But only if that path leads to Cress City, that is!

Some of them I already have mapped out, but it doesn't really matter. We can go with Route 5 for now, and i think that might actually be it.

Just visiting a locale won't take an Encounter unless something gets in your way. Searching around for gems and stuff would.

That'd probably be the path to Cress City, I think.  The thing with Furret is they're small, long, and thin, so they can squeeze into tunnels most could only dream about entering, so they could be just about anywhere.

Though maybe the gem mine might have a few if some of them have a particular eye for shiny things.

Since I've not put in any input yet...Nathan's up for a small amount of exploring too (I'm particularly interested in the Eastern passage, but the Northern one is cool too.  I and Nathan would be fine with either.)  Or we can get a move on to Cress.  Nathan would be fine with that too.

Visiting the Candelabra will cost you hours but not Encounters, unless you choose to engage the Pokemon there. You have about 6 hours to spare and still get to Cress City by nightfall.

In that case, my personal choice is visiting the Candelabra with Ventus, but no gem mining on the way to save an Encounter that I'd rather meet a Pokemon with, but NOT the one at the Candelabra specifically (for now). Alright for you and Ven, @Lord Windos, as well as everyonelse?
