If Ralts was still a Kirlia, I would have probably ignored the event entirely IC.  Ralts is a Ralts currently, though, and they're defined by their ability to share emotions, no matter what those emotions might be.

And Ventus just had a lot of really powerful ones that would definitely catch Ralts's attention and affect him and Nathan rather severely.  They're not too far ahead of everyone else, after all.

Just far enough ahead that they don't know what caused those emotions in the first place, I imagine.

Thats why Heart prefere a more friendly aproach. Sometimes, things can be resolve without the need to battle. Thats is something Heart learns from Shiva. Thats why he have his mantra: "Lets do some Shiva style". Not in mockery but in admiration.

Whoops, I only saw that now from update-reading. I know you mean it in a positive way, and I like it. ^^

Shiva has 3 points in Crafts currently, since you asked. Though I may not level up in this Speciality that soon (eventually I probably might) as I'd like to collect an amount of Chara-XP for somethingelse before I'll solely concentrate on Specialities. But maybe there's someone in Cress City who could cut your garnet to show off the Sableye's biting marks, as this town is mentioned to host various old crafts. Even if that'd cost a fee, the net-gain of 3x3900$ would make up for that! Solely 3900$ is already nice.

Also Phantom, I will be working on the Flashback conversation before I post in the Gamethread, ok? Haven't forgotten about it, just have been.....busy. And thinking on how to react best to it, honestly.

Windos, you're wondering whether Nathan has heard your screaming... I guess it's slightly more imortant that Shiva remained within earshot, but I guess she won't openly comment if Ven expresses not wanting to speak - she'll just be concerned and stick even closer to him.

I held off rolling out your encounter because of what you PMd me, which required knowing the end of Ventus' scene, but I think with the way things turned out we'll have to do that idea some other time.

With that done, let me know if I missed anything important I was supposed to resolve! I'm back from my boring meeting trip and should resume a normal schedule.

I have a feeling Ventus will not want to hang around this same spot. What does everyone else think? Should I bring up new Encounters or roll to see if any Pokemon fled/joined us anew? There's only two Pokemon left on the encounter list, and you'd be kind of stuck with a delay if you engage this same area again.

As for the encounters thing...every instinct of Nathan's is telling him to RUN.  He's aaaaallll for getting out of there ASAP.
