XP bidding is a way to divide up the Encounters without in-character conflict.

You just have a bidding war with the other person who wants the same encounter, using your character's experience points. Each of you say how much you're willing to part with, and you can then increase that number if the other person bid higher. This goes on until someone concedes.

Whoever won loses that much XP and gets the Encounter. The other person picks a new Encounter.

As for Rarity, Clauncher and Phantump are actually Heart's rarest. Gen VI is rarer in Creshire than a Pokemon of similar rarity from Gen III. Just an FYI.

@Spiritmon if you want to reserve an Encounter for a rare Pokemon, maybe you should not take the Useful Item? You don't know if there'll be a rare Pokemon there or not, so it's a gamble.

Hmm I dont know. The chance to find another rare pokemon is kind low now. Since Ventus already say he want that rare pokemon my Rare Pokemon Collector kinda dismiss. I take the useful item for now.

And as for rarity I kinda talk about unique pokemon. Sure, Gen 6 is cool and rare, but not much as a Delta Ditto altered and a Odd Pochyenna. But if there another barrage of interesting encounters I might take.

@Nylon, what do you want to do?  Train, beat up/catch some wild Patrat/Sentret, or go for the Held/Useful Item?

I'm fine with Nathan grabbing either item.  If you want the Held Item, you can have it, but I'll take it if you'd rather do something else or grab the Useful Item instead.

Just to make sure things are clear, I'll grab the Held Item, but only if Valder doesn't.  If Valder does, Nathan will grab the Useful Item instead.

Yep, I'm back home. Good thing too, because the valley I was staying in flooded. Lots of waterlogged basements. I'm lucky I left about three hours before it started.

It was on fire last year, so this is an improvement.

...so not only is it an Onix, the pokemon with the fourth highest base HP in Pokerole when it's full sized (topped only by Steelix, Alolan Exeggutor, and Wailord)...it also seems to have Levitate...
