[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins

Pretty sweet find right there, and rather useful since most of his team is not fully evolved! In Haunter's case this is even more incentive to never evolve, as with Levitate and Evolite he can avoid Ground type moves AND tank more damage than he could ever before! Wil-lo-wisp would also be nice on them, though its less useful in this campaign since it doesn't drop STR.

In terms of usefulness for Ven's team, its practically non-existent except for Lilith and Azrael, who would rather have items that bolster their offensive traits (though Azrael could go either way really).

Yeah, the only thing Haunter might lose out on by not evolving is an extra point of HP (and maybe not even that) if we followed what Iron said waaaayyyyy back before the second gym battle when I pointed out some pokemon don't actually gain base HP upon evolving (Dragonite and Shedinja being the only cases of actually losing base HP).  I found it amusing that Chuckles's Gengar still had 5 base HP instead of 6 even after that, though.  Gengar doesn't even lose Levitate since Pokerole mostly operates off of a gen 6 basis.  Helios would be in a similar position, in fact.  As would have Porygon-2, but...*shrug*

As far as Nathan's team goes, yeah, he's got plenty of pokemon that could benefit (in fact, Zippy could benefit as far as the game mechanics are concerned, which would help him with his general frailty a little).

But whether Valder keeps 'em all or he shares with someone else is up to him in the end.

Shiva in-game said that she'll come to him on the next day, and I don't really feel like to rearranging that though? If the others want to join as well, they can, but I actually don't mind if Shiva visits him alone as all the'd like to do is show him Special Poochyena that has nothing to do with the others, no real need to inform the other about.

Well, Nathan would be up for joining if you were to tell him.  Mallorn DID say Shiva could bring along everyone else, and I bet he would definitely be interested in seeing some of the stuff on Nathan's pokedex (he's STILL the only one left in the party with one of Mallorn's pokedexes, after all)

She'll share that he's in Cress City and where, so that anyone who's interested can meet up with him whenever they like.

Hmmm...actually, I know it's a bit nitpicky, but Mallorn seems to be under the impression that Shiva's not going to be coming to have lunch with him by herself, since he said 'bring your friends and we'll all have lunch together'.

Oh yeah, there's that whole lunch with Mallorn thing to consider informing everyone about too.  I don't imagine Mallorn will be sticking around Cress for very long, though...does that lunch have to be on Day 52, @Iron?

Yes, I'd say so, unless you can convince him otherwise with something important.

Oh hey, wait a moment... Indeed, somethingelse came to my mind that I'd like to discuss with Professor Mallorn, would be better if Shiva does this alone with him over lunch. It's nothing delicate or secret, can be discussed over lunch, but it'd be more interesting if she would be to ask about this. Hehehehe...

I was going to say that Ven could also join if it was possible, but wouldn't mind being left out, but if you/Shiva want to tackle Mallorn all by your lonesome, I'm more than okay with that! Everyone deserve to have their own private moments in game if they want, so long as it doesn't end up locking out of important/pertinent intel and/or screwing over the other players in the process!

On another note, what large supply of fruit did Ven end up buying? If they have Blueberries or similar, he'd be happy to purchase those if they are at a reasonable price!

Shiva already knows this, but she'll nevertheless send a 'Thank you for informing <3" as a reply from the new cell when she'll get the message late this day. In the same go, she informs him about how Professor Mallorn residing in Cress City, how he suprised her yesterday evening in the Pokemon Center, and how she was out on lunch with him today.

Well, it's late in the day when Ventus sends that message anyways, since Windos had that entire day all planned out, and the battle was last on the list, so...

However, there's ONE other issue I can think of concerning the calls...would Shiva even get the message if the phone with her original number is fried?  The new one won't necessarily have the same number, right?

No, it doesn't really effect the others, it's mostly curiosity and wonder about one particular Pokemon that I'd like to ask for more info from him since he asked us to find it for him.
