Now you know how I felt when battling Valder.  Except arguably, Nathan had a much worse time of it when he wasn't dodging Valder's more inaccurate attacks.

High strength characters with high power moves are scary.  And they only get scarier when they have the accuracy to back up their attacks.

Side note: that battle could have gone MUCH differently potentially if Iron had remembered that Numel take +2 damage from Water attacks (Hanael would take only +1 after she evolves though, since her ability will change from Simple to Solid Rock, making Water her only real weakness as a result).

I knew that in general, but I was more worried about Simple Amnesia until I/Bottle remembered that Screech would cancel it right out!

...though I'm fairly certain you already had some sort of appreciation for high strength builds, based on how ya built Clair's battle...fast, strong, AND bulky.  Blegh.  I am SO glad her Gyarados got Horn Drilled...

Oy, Ven has plenty of tricks up his sleves now and in the future, so don't get to comfortable on your throne there mate~!

Hehehehe, well, she WAS the 8th Gym Leader with an extremely powerful artifact powering her up, and she brought/trained her team with the express purpose of running ramshoud over you. In a completely fair fight she'd STILL most likely make trump Reiner, but luckily? her ego and temper got the better of her!

All the believable supernatural items utilize Pokemon in some way, while all the magic purporting to be caused by humans is really just beautiful chicanery.

Pokemon are magic on their own it seems, very cool.

You know, the inside of the Violet Tent doesn't disappoint me at all, me and Shiva quite enjoy this place. Positively suprised that they even sell Eggs, will take a look at them as well as what Pokemon they sell next! Also, Iron, can Pokemon only be 'sold' here or can they (*Druddigoncough*) also be 'traded'? And is it possible to sell Pokemon on one's own as well - or, asking a little differently, could Shiva sell both Nuzleaf here for either cash or items from Violet Tent equal to their value? How much cash would she roughly get for these, is there a PC nearby just in case?

Also, you haven't come back yet to how much these Enigma Berry Candy actually cost - unlike to what the others hinted, am I actually interested in letting the dice decide whether Shiva gets some more Will and her Pokemon + or - 10XP, as well as maybe even one Enigma Berry on its own for a Rare Encounter.

I updated the shopping post with a cost, but i forgot to say as much in the thread. Sorry about that. It's linked in the Encounters comment on the first page of the Game Thread.

Trading is possible within the Violet Tent, but people there will mostly have occult-related things to trade. Cress City as a whole has no problem trading, though they aren't usually tacky enough to have a trading board. Word of mouth is key!

Nuzleaf are worth only about $600 apiece, with their disobedience. Druddigon is worth a LOT more, because he can be whipped into a great fighter and has the desirable Dragon type. Several thousand Pokedollars, or a valuable battle item of some kind. Multiple TMs. Aside from Deltas I believe he's the most valuable capture you've made as a party, and he'd be worth a fortune if he wasn't so disobedient.

*Shrugs* Hanael is tanky enough to handle a few hits, and if I needed to I could have switched them out for Apsis to deal with Golduck, switch her back in, and then use Amnesia again + a Potion to reset things back in her favor. Ven's all about endurance and tactics in battle, so he'd recovered regardless and hurt them plenty in return!

Oh, I know.  And that's why I want a rematch with Ventus at some point (soonish if possible): because I don't think I have a high chance of winning, even if Ventus doesn't go all out and fights as 'dirty' as he can.

No need to be sorry!~ Huh, but these Candy are a bit more expensive than I expected, I guess for that money I'd rather buy Mystery Berries for the chance of free Will Points and Enigma Berries themselves.

Both Nuzleaf will be sold, I'll state this in the upcoming post in Game Thread.

'Worth a fortune', whoahw. Multiple TMs, even more whoahw. But I still don't have much of an idea what I'd like to have in return for that Druddigon, apart from preferably an or even multiple Items, Azumarill for example is in need for a new permanent Held Item since she doesn't need her Soothe Bell anymore, and Nightshade won't need that Stone from the Tusk anymore upon evolving (Heat rock instead?) Or something that'd give Shiva a mechanical effect. Occult-related Items are highly to her liking!

Reminds me: Hmm, @Iron, would that mentioned battle Heart-vs-Shiva, which he mostly desires for and mentioned several times, actually count as a ceremonical battle, means Cress City would allow it? It's certainly more than a simply battle against two young Trainers, that's why I'm asking. If not, battling outside of town is certainly alright.
EDIT: The latter will be it then, thanks for clarifying!

Would you actually be down to hold this battle during the next in-game Day, @Spiritmon? We can discuss conditions later via PM, if you'd like.

It's not illegal to battle here, it's just not part of their culture. That would not count as ceremonial though, and the residents would not encourage it.

I have no problems with that. If is outside of the city or not. But I like the idea about Ceremonial battle. It would be awesome. And yes, we can discuss via PM. I can wait the next day for our battle. Heart dont have plans.

Purrfect~ We'd have to find a place o battle somewhere outside of Cress City's borders though.
Well, Shiva has plans for the next in-game Day already, but the battle can happen right away as the first Encounter after discussing things about Bill and that guy with the highly sensitive nose who found her.
