[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole
Heart was quite impress with such quantity of information Nathan hold with himself. "Wowzer. You like a living book. You are the one who have a lot of information. Being honest, I gladly you are here in the party too." Then Heart return the questions. "That would a bad idea to defacing his grave. Even when that king made so much bad things, he was someone who once deep care about the good of the people in Cheshire. I think the League did a wise choice..." Then a question come to Heart head. "And about that...Disaster Stone you have say before? You think that stone was responsible to make Sarimanorok a tyrant? If yes, who build that thing? And if was the king itself, why did he make that thing? And his sibilings? The one with military and alchemist knowledge? They survive in the war? They abandoned his mad brother as king or they still with him?"

Then Heart feel shamed about ask so many questions. "Sorry to bother you with such quesions Nathan. I kinda more and more curious about Sarimanok."

"Can't answer that first one for ya, I'm afraid.  Don't really know what that is. (i.e. this isn't the time and place to ask that)  Sarimanok didn't have any siblings to my knowledge.  That story I told earlier, if it's true, happened looooonnnng before Sarimanok's time.  And it ended happily, too."

Nathan shrugs.  "Well, stick around long enough, and you probably won't have to be asking the historian for answers.  Heck, I'm probably still going to be learning a thing or later on.  Besides, I think curious little Furret here seems to want to learn more about her home, so this probably answers a few of her questions too."

Heart nod his head. "Yeah. Lets just focus in enjoy this castle. Hmm, I gonna take a look around here. With a bit luck we might found something. Who knows? We might find a neat pokemon."

Action: Search the castle to find something neat/odd to capture.

Well, do you... hmm, I mean, would you be so kind to hand it to me for short? I'd like to find out what these symbols on it mean. You know, that square with the circle inside, that humanoid figure, and that half sun plus that believed tree."

These runes don't spell anything out in their current form, and it's possible that together with other things they spell something completely unrelated to their literal symbology. But each of the runes does have a meaning.

The humanoid doesn't just represent any human, but a human who is involved with Pokemon. Like an ancient Trainer.
The square with a circle inside represents dimensions.
The tree is supposed to be multiple overlapping trees at once, aka a forest.
You are not sure about the half sun.

Furret enjoys the story of the Six and the Four, but doesn't rise to Nathan's bait about a Championship team. She seems more interested in history than the now, especially history that could relate to the Skull Ruins or Mt. Sentry. Yeah, she likes to learn about her home.

To clarify some things:
Cress Castle is not the Skull Ruins and it is not where the Six and the Four attacked. Cress Castle was not even involved in that League battle, but you can't have a reenactment at the old barrows where the real battle happened. Too many ghosts.

The brothers Nathan spoke of were not Sarimanok's brothers. They were some earlier King who is not nearly so important to history. BUT, that King would presumably have lived here in Cress Castle.

Nathan already mentioned these things but I wanted to make sure it was clear.

Encounter check!

(5)(1) = 6

Encounters at Cress Castle
1. Diglett
2. Vullaby
3. Murkrow
4. Staravia

Infinite Starly available.

Alert check: *rolls*

Heart also finds an old brass attachment of some kind. It's half melted and was half buried in the foundations of the Castle. Nathan is able to say it comes from before Sarimanok's time, possibly kicked around during excavation or restoration of the Castle. It could be from the Scavenger society, who came before the Kings and existed until a few generations before Sarimanok.

(Whoops, although I've made a note about this runestone in charasheet to remember which runes are on it, I missed to mention the tree in the post, duh)

Hmm... Shiva made sure to note just the meaning of the particular runes etched in this runestone on a page of star-patterned journal, before she ripped that page out and placed it between the cover and the first page of the book.

While reading, it indeed became obvious rather soon that which runes are written together, their meaning can drastically differ. Here Shiva had a believed ancient Trainer, dimensions, a forest and that weird half sun... Maybe it represents a half day? Seems like there could be a short story written on this runestone? About a Trainer of old times, that traveled to another dimension through a forest, for a half day maybe... Hmm. Once having taken a look at this runestone in detail again to see if she may have missed anything, she eventually handed it back to Gothy with a "Thank you, Lilith... Please take good care of this stone. I'm not yet sure what the runes on it could mean... But I just like that stone."

As said, Shiva will spend the rest of the day right here in Celebi Park, in pleasant and quiet solitude except for the company of her dear Pokemon, surrounded by the pines and few hardwoods providing shade, with a fluffy natural cushion of piled up pine needles beneath her and the scent of burned incense sticks for paying tribute to Celebi calming the scene even more. The world may be loud and fast for the most part, sometimes overwhelming the more quiet people like she was, but right now while being surrounded by nature, Pokemon and the (to her) mystic atmosphere the close shrine was giving out, she felt in peace with herself, a precious felling.

(True, I've even found a theme I like for this whole scene: Peaceful dwelling in Celebi Park, or simply Celebi Park as a whole: Pokemon D/P/Pt - Eterna Forest (Remix))

Given the wild Pokemon living here, she somewhat doubted that it'd be safe to spend the whole night here using the pine needles as a bed and the sky as a ceiling, but she'll still stay here until the stars have come out and Shiva could watch them together with Lilith and Kyuu - oh, and to see these Volbeat and Illumise come out! <3 They'll always remind her of these 1000 Illumise Ventus once sang about. Even more she doubted that Celebi itself would appear tonight, the odds that this small elusive fairylike creature would do so coincidently tonight were just...well, too tiny to even hope for it. That was fine though, Shiva knew Celebi was out there somewhere, for sure, hopefully being fine and joyful.

To pass some time, Shiva does read through that book about runereading she bought from the Fortune Hunter, comparing tables of rune alphabets with one another and trying to remember them, as well as pay some extra attention on finding out what these etched runes on that Runestone she also bought possibly mean. *insert Shiva asking for Gothy to hand her this stone, like in the previous post of mine* All this will probably take minimum two hours, it was time spent well though. Once, when Shiva checked the time on that new cell the Daycare owners sent her (horray for it being the same model!), she remembered something - something she'd better let the other know, something she wanted to let the others know. Professor Mallorn already informed the others about him dwelling in town, but there was something else ... In the end, she typed up a quick message to send to Nathan, Heart, Ventus and Valder, which @Dragonstrike, @Spiritmon, @Lord Windos and @Nylon receive whenever they like.

Once that has been done, she packes the phone away and continues with her business.

All six Pokemon she currently carries with her are out of their Balls to accompany Shiva and enjoy the afternoon and night to their liking. Azumarill reacts to this opening with a delighted chirp, before she pulled her arms close and rolled her looong ears up a little, as if to concentrate on something...before some seconds later she suddenly opened and outstrechet her arms again in a swift movement whil throwing her ears back, summoning a swarm of illusionarry white dows in the process! They flapped their wings eagerly and darted around the surrounding and Shiva, before they eventually vanished. Of course this earned the blue fae mouse rabbit a smile, chuckle and eventually a hug from her sweet Master, delighte of how much she has grown under Shiva's care from being a tiny sad Azurill to the full-fledged stage magician she now was. To comemorate this, Shiva silently decided to keep the nickname she has given the smol Pokemon, the one that she stopped using as soon as Azurill became a Marill: Azu. Fits again now for an Azumarill. "You're okay if I call you like this again, dear one? You're fully evolved now... We made it. We made it, together... Nothing would break or even harm the bond we two have forged ever. I promised I'd help you become happy, and you see that I've kept my word. Oh you..." Somewhere in the hug, Azu would probably summon another 50$ coin from her Master's ear, to show it to her in delight.

The most fun over a free afternoon in nature together with their Master and Pokemon companions Cottonee, Nightshade and Furret seemed to have though. (Insert what the others are doing to GM's discretion maybe) Furret was darting around the scene in quite a speed, rolling himself in the cushion of pine needles which neatly decorated his fur as some of them sticked to it and curiously bathed his paws in the small pool of the shrine watching the reflections being broken, all while Cottonee was following this playful new friend Master brought to them all with interest and joy. Nightshade, after a bit of careful exploring of the near surounding as there might be hungry bird Pokemon around, decided  that she was safe as long she sticks to Master and the others, so she eventually jumped right into Cottonee's fluff to be carried around and take part in the fun they seemed to had, which the vivid wad of cotton delightfully accepted. These three ended up chasing one another over the place, play hide-and-seek which Furret almost always won regardless whether he hid (in places one could hardly imagine he fitted in) or seeked (blame Keen Eye Ability), in return he let the two small Grass Types use his long slim body as a slide (like in this small bad drawing I made --> Link). This counts as two Training Sessions for them.

When it became time for dinner, Shiva would call all the Pokemon to come to her, before she offered them the fruit of Tropius, a big amount of spicy and normal Pokemon Food and a few hands of dried berries to them from a boring white place. While they all digged in to the food the enjoyed most of this assortment, Shiva would pack the Nanab Berry she also picked from Tropius away to the others (Curret amount: 6 normal ones, 2 whithered ones), while drawing these two Mystery Berries she purchased in the Violet Tent. Starring at them in her hands for a little, she remembered how the vendor told her that 'these can make you feel powered up, as their aroma invades your taste buds - but no guarantee on that! You have to try to find out, miss!' - before she shruged, cut them in half and had them for her own dinner. (That means, 2 Luck Dice get rolled to see whether it will be free Will Points or not! I also missed to actually state it after I asked, but 1 Tea was bought as well [which she doesn't consume now here though], sorry for that)

As soon as night has fallen, Shiva stays here for a little longer, stargazing while laying on her back among Illumise, Volbeat and pine needles, arms beneath her head. Gothitelle can join is she likes, Kyuu is currently not in her party sadly.

The grass Pokemon get a training roll in the park.
4 Insight + 2 Survival + 2 Nature = 8d6 each
Nightshae: (5)(2)(6)(5)(3)(4)(2)(2)
Cottonee: (3)(2)(1)(4)(6)(6)(5)(2)

The Mystery berries taste wild on your tongue. It's an explosion of taste that's a little overwhelming! You're not entirely sure you should have eaten them both at once.
Luck Dice: (6) and (4). Shiva gains 1 Will point! But while she's seeking a good spot for stargazing, she realizes Gothitelle has wandered off again, this time into darkness!

Shiva gains 1Xp, and i'd love to see that pic as a higher quality scan.

As soon as Heart attacks one of the Starly, all the birds swarm down at once, except Murkrow. The Vullaby is mostly mischievous, plucking at Heart's hair and fluttering heavily out of reach.

All in all, there's gonna be 4 Starly and a Vullaby.
