Heart was impress. He didnt expect both of his pokemon would be defeat like that. Heart pick up Rose and Koa. Koa give a intense glare against Cottonee almost saying: You might be a fairy, but next time I gonna beat you! Talking about rivality. "You two make a great battle. You too Koa. You was able to give a good battle against two fairies. I very proud of you." Then Heart pat the head of the little dragon. "You did your best too Rose. You resist even after the wounds you receive from Braixen. Its already incredible you was able to survive against them. You two deserve a good rest." Then Heart return both of his pokemons to their pokeballs.

After that he look to Shiva with a smile. "I guess the battle do not over yet. Its a very balance match between us. I beat four of your pokemons: Azumarill, Meowstic, Cherubi and Braixen. And you beat three of my pokemons: Phantump, Infernape and Axew. And all my others pokemons is wound after the others battles. I might not survive the next round. You make a incredible turn of tabble in our battle. Should we continue? I ready to continue. The battle its not lost until you last pokemon fall.

That Slashes from Koa targeting her dearest fluffball brought back an unpleasant image of a big blue-red Unovian dragon slashing her bloodily through the cotton, causing Shiva to intuitively cover her eyes with her hands, as if she doesn't want to witness such an unpleasantly heartfelt sight again so shortly after Cottonee has been recovered to her old self again by Nurse Joy. ....Though the cry she soft-expected didn't came, regardless of how many seconds she waited. Eventually and instead, she picked up the familiar feeling of a breeze that felt like it contained small particles...... She knew that feeling! That was a FAIRY WIND! Immediately, Shiva uncovered her eyes again, only to see that Infernape stagger, taking a step back, and eventually falling on her knees and hands - defeated the flaming monkey queen with the magic of the fae, what a comeback!

That was hard to believe for Shiva in the first place, but it was unmistakeably true - her two Fairies up and about, the small green dragon snarling at Cottonee especially who looked like she had the greatest fun mocking that Axew by floating out of its range, Infernape defeated.

There was still a chance...that she could win...against that PUNisher.... awesome. Even if Koa tried to evade, Cottonee and Spritzee gave everything to hit anyway, Cottonee also seemed to do a fine job teaching Spritzee on how fight dragons, as the pink bird's Fairy Wind visibly hit hard! Awww.

It all went so fast that Shiva 'forgot' to ask her Pokemon to hold back a little, but it was too late already - Koa gave her and Cottonee a GLARE as if he was already warning them over the next time they'd meet. THEN, yes THEN we'll see who will be (not literally) slayed, young female and Pokemon! Just because the fluffball's a female and no rival for territory won't save her evermore!! Shiva was greatly amused by that.

"O...Of course it's not over yet, Heart!~ I, ehm, by myself didn't expected to be still standing, but it delights me to no end. Please excuse me over overdoing things with dear Koa - I hope he'll recover soon and swiftly." She gave Heart a respectful bow in apology, and had to throw her hair back as she was up again. "I'm willing to continue as well. Now then, I have no more Pokemon I can switch in, so send out your next two choices please!~ They're all pained, I'll take care to not send 'em into oblivion."

At Nathan's agreement, shiva delightfully puts the tips of her finger to a roof in front of herself, smiling coyly over that pleasant outcome. "Great, I guess that settles it!~ Please save a bit of your money then, Nathan, as I'd like the cost be shared between all of us fair unless you're really blank. In return for me getting a book for the scent, could you please inform Valder and Heart about this deal? I'll meet Ven today anyway, so then I could....tell him as well."

*sigh*

"I still don't really know how much I can contribute, but I'll try and save some, yes.  And yes, I'll tell Valder and Heart later (I guess that's another reason Nathan will be waiting in the PC's lobby later.  That works out nicely!).  I need to speak with you after this about one more thing before we go about our separate business here, though."

That *sigh* was something Shiva did by far not miss, and immediately and in a very swift movement she had turned her head to face Nathan instead of Mr. Finder within barely a second, giving the first one a look that was, to put it mildly, not too impressed by the words he spoke out. The roof she has formed with her fingertips remained.

"Nathan, at least a bit money I'd ask you to contribute, please. This is a thing that affects ALL of us in the same degree, so I'd be happy if we could share the costs for the hirering between all of us just as well. It's only fair. My own funds aren't endless either, and there's always the possibility to find a job, an activity, something to sell or a battle outside of Cress City to earn some additional cash if needed. Also, IMAGINE-" At that word, Shiva broke that roof and clapped her hands together in silent anticipitaton, "what wonders, treasure, hidden secrets await us down in that Library!~"

The opening that he has another thing he want to speak about with her earned Nathan a somewhat stunned expression in a tilted head, now even more confused then the last time where the sentiment was only the Tutoring of a move. She kept her gaze on him for a second longer than what would be normal, then checked the time on cell. "I have one hour left until I'm expected in front of the Tent for trading, so if you'd keep yourself short, you can surely speak to me about...one more thing."

Nervosity silently flooded Shiva, starting from her core. W...What was it this time?

"Even I couldnt say better!" Then Heart prepare himself for the final battle. "Lets go them!" Them Heart throw his pokeballs in the air revealing his last defenders: Gustav and Percival. "Like they say: The best way to fight against a fairy, its with a little steel in the diet!"

"Old dusty books is a good idea, Nathan. The oldest I own is probably still too new however - but there's a bookstore in the Department Store in Stair City, I've been there and practically bathed in the scent of old pages there. (Another scent for Spritzee? The post containing the second-hand bookstore in Department Store: Link) I can easily teleport there together with my Kadabra, though the question would be whether you'd be fine to come with me to pick up the scent of old books there shortly before we'll venture down Mount Sentry, Mr. Finder? Nathan, would you lend him Ralts for the sake of teleporting there? It's fine if you'd rather not for your own reasons, I'd just ask Ven in that case."

"A test, eh? No pay, I guess? Well, as long as it doesn't help you with anything..."

Mr. Finder snorts at the metal finger, and again. He places it on his lap, under his booth, and concentrates. 

"I smell water...running water. And campfires. And some flowers. Onion? No way. Bro- no. El- no. I'll get it. Ra- uh uh. Trilliums? Trilliums! Ah, that gives the game away, doesn't it. This was found near Trillium Town. The campfires could be Mount Molten, I guess. Or perhaps further along the river, on that easterly road there. The delightful one where poison is forbidden. Pretty good, right?"

"OH? Hm. No, there's something else." He lifts it and sniffs it again.

"Before that, it was subjected to a powerful natural attack. I want to say a Solarbeam. And I smell burning rubber or plastic, and ash. There was more steel around, too. A LOT of steel. A suit of armor? No, larger even than that. More like a car or a train or something. That's my guess. So maybe a train on Route 01?"

"Close enough.  Found it on Route 01, in a berry bush near Trillium.  There were a few campsites nearby, and Mt. Molten in the distance, but there's also the ash field."

Back in the bag the metal finger goes.

"Quite impressive you picked all that up, really.  I've been carrying that around for...almost two months now."

Nathan looks at Shiva.  "Alright, I'm convinced.  I'm inclined to agree with Mr. Finder here that bringing an old book to him would probably be a better idea.  Less conspicuous."

Hmmm...

"One more question, though.  If you were to get lost in the tunnels of Mt. Sentry, would you be able to find your way out?  What we're looking for is probably going to be deep, deep in the heart of the mountain.  And the paths through the interior are never the same day to day."

"Well, I would always know what direction the tunnels we'd found are in! That risk is factored into the price. Just show up the day before you're set to leave and I'll have a contract."

"Oh, does the Tangrowth know Knock Off? That would be helpful. It does? Very good! Misdreavus, I want you to go with this man. He's strong enough to take on fully evolved or trained Pokemon. "Excellent! I solemn swear that I will take great care of your Misdreavus , treating them as they were my own family like the rest of my Pokemon , my friend ! As for th Gengar and Tangrowth you'll receive , keep in mind they are all highly Disobedient , so I advice working extensively with bonding with them fist before you attempt to battle with them , or use them as a mean to obtain more tractable pnartners that will fill out and compliment your team . With that being said , let us depart for the Center and  finalize this exchange! "

Ventus said this all with a bright and chipper grin and tone of voice that only held a small note of concern, before he clasped his hands together and went to the Center with the Youngster . Upon arrival the trade was completed in due time , and afterwards he said to them : " I wish you the best of luck against Chuckles , and safe , prosperous travels! " , and then waved them good bye/ departed their company .

H then took his newest member of his ever growing family to the nurse for healing ( ad they were fainted when they were last seen) , and released them the first chance he got over at a  secluded table in the lobby , so as not to be interrupted / interrupt someone themsrlves . Hopefully they liked him , as an Disobedient ghost was a very naughty problem indeed, and this wasn even considering the species whimsical disposition !

Once everything's said and done with the conversation with Mr. Finder, Nathan pulls Shiva aside for a quick, semi-private chat.

"Look, it's not that I don't want to contribute, not that I don't want to know what's in that library's records, it's just that...I've got other things I need to save what money I have for as well.  Really expensive things.  I'll work on getting some more, I'll remind Valder and Heart...I'll work on it, though i really think that should go without saying by now.  I have a few ideas...and that Pay Day TM.  I've been thinking about how to best use it...but it's been tricky.  It's not a move anything but Meowth and Persian really use in serious battles, typically...could easily help with that cash problem, though..."

"...one more thing.  Take what all the shopkeeps say with a grain of salt.  Ralts didn't detect anything malicious, but...every single one of them is at least slightly dishonest.  Including Mr. Finder.  They're probably exaggerating a few things, and that's why I decided to give Mr. Finder that test.  Probably not much to worry about, but I figured I should tell you anyways."

Nathan backs off from Shiva.  "Well, I'll let ya be on your way now.  I'll be browsing the wares here for a bit, then I'll be heading to the museum.  I'll remind Valder and Heart at the end of the day.  See ya later.  Come on, Furret, let's get goin'!  We're gonna do some window shopping!  Maybe we'll find something you or Emolga would like!  Or maybe something a Carvanha or Ralts might like, even.  Who knows!" (Carvanha being mentioned is probably a little weird from Shiva's POV since Nathan hasn't exactly shown off that egg much so far)

Off into the marketplace Nathan goes, with a smile on his face, his best friend by his side, a flying squirrel on his shoulder, and a ferret trailing after.  What a group, right?

The Telekinesis TM obviously catches Ralts and Nathans' eyes (he'd previously heard Cress City sells the TM, but it's good to know it's here specifically!), but is there anything in particular that Furret or Emolga find interesting while in the tent, @Iron?

Eeeeeek! The nervosity increased drastically within Shiva as Nathan somewhat pulls her aside, simply because she has no idea what may await her. He could do and ask practically anything, from burrowing something, to insight on something he was not experienced in but she was, or something on a similar level like a trade or tutoring but with a more 'shady' matter cloaking it. Or - WORSE - he could ask her in what relationship she stands with Ventus meanwhile. T...Though if worse comes to worst, Lilith is out and Shiva hoped that her elusive Unovian Psychic Type will defend her Master, if not she'll just chase her oher Pokemon on him, then flee !

Oh. But in the end, Nathan only told her something she already knew. Taking everything with a grain of salt.... She's giving Nathan an somewhat unimpressed look, almost a sad one. "My, Nathan, I know that. I'm no newbie to the mythik and occult, I'm enjoying the field, how do you think I became interested in Fairy Type? I'm dabbling in natural magic....myself...a bit... If you'd actually ask me questions or show interest, you'd know that. I'm feeling very well here at this place." The more she spoke, the more she looked down to Cottonee in her arms instead, the fluffball was giving her silent comfort.

Anyway, she'll let him go, follow his own business at this fleemarket, while she will do so as well.

Eventually, after having strolled over the occult fleemarket for a bit once more after the business with the Herbalist and the vendor with the book abour raising a Spritzee to various scents have been finished, Shiva somewhat stops at the booth of the Medium... She looks over with an expectant, anticipating, curious and even faintly wishful manner, her emotional response clearer than the outter expression. How much Shiva would have wanted to speak to her today, actually meet a real Medium today both in order to ask for help to find a Pokemon Spirit for her Cleanse tag in making as well as to see one in action, hoping that the spirits are benelovent and present when Shiva comes by - she does want to hone her own senses, become more empathic, dealing with Psychic Types known for their mindfulness and Fairy Types for emotionality can only contribute that much - Ventus' words about how her sensibility, that sensitive heart she has coming along with that emotionality, was not a weakness but a strength were words that impressed her. Before, she felt this being a curse and a blessing at the same time, and while this was true as it makes her keen to overreact in some situations or events, it makes her...unique. More than she already was. When she left departed by plane from her homeregion to get to Chreshire, she wouldn't have believed to develop in such directions - but she was enjoying it. Being more receptive and nurturing towards others, for now known Pokemon in the first place, feeling their needs and wants to bring up the care and help they need specifically - THAT was something that fascinated her. 'Outperforming' even him as the born empath - whether she would ever be that good she has no idea, but she silently desired to be just as good.
(That was part of the private conversation these two had after the Gemstone-Investigation Mesprit has seemingly given them.)


With that though, she eventually stepped out of the tent, immediately soaking up the fresh air after having bathed in all the various scents of the Violet Tent. Taking a look at the time on cell, she figured she still has a little more than half an hour before she's expected in front of the tent. A calm spot with some space nearby was quickly found, a park bench or similar, where she'll spend some time with three of her Pokemon:

Gothitelle and Furret were already out of the Balls, so they can stay out. Cottonee was allowed to take some rest within her Pokeball or close to Shiva right beside her, just like she prefers. In a flash ow white light, Nightshade has been summoned to the place as well! She chirped at Shiva, which earned her being picked up with both hands and held close while being tickled on the cheek in a playful and fond manner. Her dearest sunbringer... For a while now, Shiva enjoyed spending time grooming that small cherrylike Pokemon of hers, stroking over her delicate leaves with a soft brush and sprinkling Nightshade with a water from a spraying flask, all while she herself seemed to independantly increase some sunbeams to soak them up via Morning Sun. Shiva could feel the increased warmth of that on her skin, slightly smiling in the process and eventually starting to hum the melody of 'Skirl of the Southern Wind' to her and Nightshade. She's also investigating her Cherubi closely - is the small head intact? Is it blooming or giving hints that it's close to, pointing to an evolution coming closer? What impression was Nightshade giving out, was she a healthy Grass Type?

Meanwhile, Furret and Lilith were standing close facing each other, Furret was perked up and looked eager in wanting to show something to that noble Psychic Type who was (hopefully) mustering this lengthy furrball in curiosity. He stretched his small arms again and again, looking very concentrated everytime - Shiva was amused by that whenever she looked over, as it looked a bit like her Furret was using a Psychic Type move! In fact, she wasn't completely mistaken, as Furret was demonstrating Foresight to Lilith, showing that he too had some mental power within himself! Of course he can't look into the future this way as well as Lilith and her Future Sight could, but overall it was scene that was enjoyable to watch.

At some point, once having cared for Nightshade enough, Shiva would place her on her shoulder where she semi-hid between some strands of her hair in comfort, then call Furret to her. She said she'd give him a reward for having collected some jewels the last time they were at the Violet Tent, and it turned out to be grooming session itself! Furrets's head and upper body can rest comfortably on Shiva's lap while she brushing through his cream and brown ringed fur, while he was enjoying a full package of Gourmet Food all by himself.


Occassional time-checking allowed Shiva to on time in front of the tent where she pinned up the trade request for Druddigon, having Gothitelle beside and a red rose in her hair as described. The Great Ball containing the dragon is safely inside her pocket of skirt. Wonder how many people have come with goods or a particular Ice Type she hoped for which they wanted trade her for him...?

That's some reflection for Shiva and a Training Session for Nightshade, Gothitelle and Furret, including some bonding with Furret and Nightshade. She also checks the latter's state and how close she seems to be to evolution, and Furret can have some tasty Gourmet Food. Next thing to finish is the trading of Druddigon!
