Nathan's probably just going to head to the gym instead of returning to the Center after his own training session.  If you want to challenge Tanuki in encounter 2, then you'll probably run into him there.

After that training session Heart decided to wait in the lobby for a time and wait for any of his friends to appear before he head to the gym to challenge the gym leader.

Please don't wait for Shiva, Heart, she's busy this day with stuff and somewhat appreciates to be left alone this in-game Day. Heart cannot know the latter in-chara, but there are chances that he'd 1. see her lingering at the PC writing that mail home in the morning (depending when Heart came downstairs) or when she gets back to the Center to swap around in her party again, but by that time Heart may already be at the Gym as she'll stay at the Violet Tent a little longer. She sure has grown a liking for that place. ^^

News Flash: Due to the FREAK ACCIDENT, my reply post to Shiva was COMPLETELY DELETED while I was in the middle of it. As such, I'm going to give the cliff notes/abridged version as I simply WILL NOT write everything from memory, no matter how it chaffs either one of us. Sorry my love, but I'm frankly pissed off and don't want to re-invest anymore than the minimum time necessary to finish this conversation, so that I can safely move on with my character's day without any lingering plot threads interrupting me.

Accident? What accident, my dear? If it's about the internet connection, typing out long posts in Office Word or similar and save constantly would help as this works without internet.

Did you try Ctrl-Z, or your browser's Back button? Sometimes those work for me.

If those don't work, someone should really add that feature to whatever browser you are using, because this is all too common a problem!
