True story, Shiva was literally and visibly impressed not only by the complexity and beauty of these 11 runes, but also by Valder remembering all these like it was nothing. As said, she makes sure to take a good photo with her cell of each of these symbols, then thankfully and respectfully hands the paper back to Valder.

There's probably no time today or tomorrow to look up in her book what each one and they all in one context may mean, but maybe along the way there'll be a free minute or so.

Heart's eyes glaze over with a stony surface, though he finds himself still able to see! Not as easily observed as healing a cut would have been, but it does seem like Heart is less pained/tired after a very brief time.

Hmmm...would Nathan recognize that as a Hidden Power without having to ask Heart what moves Gargryph knows, @Iron?

Regardless, he does have another question for Gargryph.

"Could I ask you to try using that move and a more powerful one on my friend here (Nathan gestures to Ralts), Gargryph?  I want to see if it works on pokemon too.  That could be really useful if it does.  Or do you already know if it does or not?"

That settles it, as the fluffball will take the last free Slot of Shiva's Team during the trip, and it's expressed by a fond hug being exchanged. This will also mean that Shiva will rely on Yena's bioluminescence, some candles she carries with her and the flashlight on her cell for light in the worst case scenario of the group getting seperated from each other.

Ventus couldn't help but shake his head in disbelief at the scene, not because Gargryp refused to cooperate with Nathan request (That was something he perfectly well understood), but the fact that they were all too willing to ask permission/explain themselves to the stone griffen, but not give the same treatment to Heart. He wasn't sure if they did so because of the group's reemings of his decision or simply because his STRONG inclination towards Pokémon, but either way it seemed like a textbook case of 'too little, too late' to the researcher at this point.

If you wouldn't have outright scared Shiva before and messed with her fragile trust in you with the sheer swiftness of attacking Heart with a Confusion without thinking twice, she would have helped you out here, but since you have, she doesn't reply on the request now after she gave Nathan a neutral glance when looking up from all the papers around.

Heart raise a eyebrown when seeing Nathan asking to hurt his pokemon. If was before, perhaps he would help. "Now you asking permission to cause damage with warn? Is that a change of heart, or just because its a pokemon you respect? Sorry to disapoint you but not gonna happen. I with the stone griffin here." Heart crossing his arms in exasperation and turning his back to follow Gargryph. "Every action have a consequence. Remember that. Next time, believe in your team mates, and give them reason to trust you."
