No, not just because of that.  That's only a small reason, too.  There's a lot of reasons he (and I to an extent) is frustrated.

Nathan wasn't ordering anyone around, either.  They were just his recommendations.  Rather strong ones because that's what he and I felt might be most optimal, but recommendations nonetheless.  No, he didn't say 'please', but he was still asking instead of demanding.

That's a good begining. Better than we depart from Star City in our mission to the ends of the Earth. It's a begining. He still needs to deal with his social problems because it's not need to have Future Sight to know future conflicts is coming soon.

Bought two Pickaxes/Sets of Digging Gear so that multiple people can work on tasks that require them at once, so I don't mind you spending that extra dosh elsewhere my love!

That was a big surprise to me as well, but Ven will certainly appreciate the rambucious baby Absol join up with the group, as will no doubt Lucifer would too! Shame they don't have an extra pair of Dark Glasses to gift, but oh well.

The Infiltrator! <3 Shiva will enjoy having him with her and out of the Ball, but bonding too much with him will only increase the sadness and bitterness of bidding farewell to him.

Hmm, @Iron, if you'll control him in battle, that means that Shiva can still command the usual two Pokemon, can she? Or does asking him favours include asking him to use this or that move when facing a particular foe - I'm fine with him doing in battle what HE thinks is best so I won't ask what moves he has or what Stats he bears, I'll simply edit him to Quickpage beside my Team. I'll trust in his danger senses. ^^

As much as I see the logic behind Ventus's arguments, Nathan is interpretting it as 'leave them behind because they're combee and offer literally nothing useful at all.'

THAT is primarilly why Nathan is so frustrated.  And he really doesn't think a Tropius and a Clawitzer will be enough on their own to provide sustenance for 6 people and 30 pokemon if the situation is that desperate.

Valder already said he'd be willing to take one Combee, provided he has the space, so I'm going to stick to that so long as Zippy is willing to tag along without Princess (Valder can give him an eviolite to help him out a little with that bulk problem of his)

Also, I'd like to point out that Valder has pretty high Dex too on top of high Strength (as of Nathan's battle with him, which Nathan even pointed out to Ventus in character).  Valder still isn't as versatile, but he's just as competent in battle as Nathan is.
